Thanks for this update. I know, one should clean flash, but I tried anyway dirty flash from PE 9 to PE 11 Plus.
So far, so good. Had to reboot once after first boot and had to clean data of contacts app and contacts storage.
Support for smart cover is only working for opening (display goes on), but not for closing (nothing happens).
I am using Nova Launcher and it is set as default launcher. However, every now and then, after looking at recent apps, the Pixel Launcher shows. Any fix for that?
No weather in "at a glance" widget. Any soluzion?
Extremely low earpiece volume while calling... any solution???

I don't think that's a ROM issue. I have had the same problem on the PE with Android 9 and I've read (not on XDA) that people with Pixel 4a 5G with original ROM have had the same issue, as long as the Google app has permissions to use location

I have found the solution and it seems to work. I added a Google widget with weather and the weather is back. If I delete the widget after a while the weather disappears
The PE11+ is a bit buggy Google maps doesn't work, random reboots, keyboard keeps exiting randomly and sometimes the device will restart into a bootloop on its own???

I tried redoing my install , now all the old problem are no more , but now every now and again the internet connectivity will fail and I have to reboot to fix it.
I'm using lineageOS and I have TWRP. How can I install PE11+ now?

Just wiped everything and flashed it. :laugh: The in call speaker works but Bluetooth headset won't. The rom looks clean and nice, I'll use a few weeks to see how it performs further. :good:

Minimal Gapps. As you would find on a Pixel.

Wow this rom is super fast comparing to ressurection oreo rom. Audio phone call quality is better. Haven't tested Bluetooth connections in car and other devices such as speakers earphones
Incoming call bug resolved?
The issue I had in the past with unofficial build OS from Stricted was the incoming call bug where my caller can't hear me during a call even though I were shouting! But same caller can hear me when I call instead. It was so frustrating that I had to go back to Original Samsung Stock Rom. Pls is this bug resolved in this OS?

U could try as a workaround to use "Nova Launcher" or "GravityBox [O]" and set the home button to give any function u want. But dunno if it'll work.:good:

I haven't decided to flash it yet (can't decide between PE and dotOS) so I don't know for sure but I've seen on YouTube that it has 'double-tap to wake screen' feature so... that's kinda neat .
In addition, I recommend WaveUp from Play Store. I got so used to it that I hardly ever use home button for this purpose. You just wave your hand in front of proximity sensor to wake screen up & there's a "pocket mode"...

Unable To Flash ROM using TWRP

All features are working as expected.
I was trying to flash the FEB 2019 update through OTA but it was unsuccessful.
So I tried to flash the ".zip " file through TWRP but I get 'ERROR 7'.
I think the problem is with the 'updater-script', maybe the required value is different than what is mentioned in the 'build.prop'.

Unable to change notification sounds
I'm currently on the Feb update and whenever I try to change the notification sound for any app it tells me the sounds app has crashed. A bit frustrating but minor problem.
On the whole it is a fully polished ROM that works pretty well on our devices. No lag and absolutely no problems in any way except for the one above.

First, thanks @Akshaykakatkar for taking this development!
Dirty installed CAF (from March CAF)
- Pixel Configuration Assistant popup on boot so I had to setup mobile network, SMS, call management, FP and text size again
- Google Assistant broken (force close), from voice command or icon shortcut from Launcher
- Gcam not working [EDIT: You're right @yogatama about Api2 and now the app opens but video recording not working]
- Sound not working either
- Need to setup FP at every reboot
[EDIT: Will try clean install better]
Clean installed CAF (wiped data, cache and dalvik before):
- Not only Google Assistant crashes but Google App too [EDIT: Google app looked weird because I'm in beta channel. Google stable it's fine, though Assistant]
- System sound still not working, though calls apparently have normal sound
[EDIT: Tried with V4A and HEX kernel in case driver works but still the same problem with sound]
Returning to latest non-CAF PE working version [20190518], hope these bugs can be solved to test it again, the ROM looks great, many new features and so.
Latest non-CAF version (20190518) works great so far. Not having the same problems as CAF version.

Gcam is working. maybe you dont turn on cam api2 on xiaomi part in setting

System sound not working even after clean install. Night mode (if you mean about that Display feature) is now called LiveDisplay.

Aaaaaaaand when I was browsing through le 2 roms thinking about having a look at something I haven't tried before there you appeared! Might as well become a betatester Cheers!
Second Q Rom to be released for the s2 after arrow OS! This rom is much more stable than Arrow Os Q Rom . I'd say Android Q is actually giving a better battery life than Pie but a lot of apps are still broken as they don't support Android Q properly yet. Anyways, great job @nullbytepl . Keep up the good work!
I'd really love if someone could port Evolution X, Havoc, Revenge Os and lineage Q ROMs too!

Yes Lockscreen is broken and i can't unlock IT. I don't use Lockscreen.
Next is magisk Module Gesture. When i flash it and reboot, the Launcher or Something is broken.
But everything is fine, the battery is great.
PS: i can't Control the Hardware Keys in Setup, for Off or on or Hardware key Background light or Something.

For some reasons the contacts app keeps on crashing.
I have cleared the davlik cache, contact and phone app cache and user data too.

Yes Lockscreen is broken and i can't unlock IT. I don't use Lockscreen.
Next is magisk Module Gesture. When i flash it and reboot, the Launcher or Something is broken.
But everything is fine, the battery is great.
PS: i can't Control the Hardware Keys in Setup, for Off or on or Hardware key Background light or Something.

Lockscreen works fine for me..
Call over bluetooth is broken, cannot hear sound on bluetooth headphone or speakers. Mic seems to be working.
Whatsapp voice calls comes over phone speaker even though it shows bluetooth connection. So sound doesnt go to bluetooth headphones over whatsapp too.
Music over bluetooth works. This looks like to be a common problem with many devices using Android 10. @nullbytepl can you look into the issue.
Let me know if you need specific logs.
Rest it's been stable from last 24hrs.

You can use gesture enabler magisk module for that for now. Its linked in the post

ok so i installed (not clear flash - update from pixel experience PIE)
so far so good. i was not able to boot into recovery but managed to flash recovery again
- when im in magisk manager sometimes my phone reboots and not load correctly - have to reboot it manually
- im using adaway to block ads - but had to do it manually as it was not able to get system directory writeable
what is my problem:
i was using fingerprints to unlock my device, but after second boot, screen lock was restarting. so i deleted files from
/data/system/gesture.key
/data/system/cm_gesture.key
/data/system/password.key
/data/system/personalbackuppin.key
/data/system/personalpattern.key
/data/system/locksettings.db
/data/system/locksettings.db-shm/data/system/locksettings.db-wal
but still see 2 fingerprints and can not change lock screen seetings as it is asking for pin, which is not working.
please dont tell me to clear flash. thanks
Well, that's because you dirty flashed the ROM. I had the same issue when moving between 2 different Pie ROMs and you moved from Pie to 10.

There is slight difference between huge companies with hundreds of people who write code for life and a small team of enthusiasts who develop in their free time. Custom ROMs don't have proper migration tools. The person above is right, you really shouldn't move between custom roms without clean flashing. Clean flash or stop complaining about stuff being broken.

Excellent ROM. One thing I can confirm is that encryption doesn't work. First I tried to flash on encrypted data and when I am prompted to enter PIN it keeps saying Wrong PIN. Then I formatted data and everything went right. I tried to encrypt it again afterwards, then I got into a bootloop.

- try another core, because LOS17 is now the most unstable version of Android 10 for our device.
- Use 8.0 fingerprints to pass SafetyNet so that GPAY works without unnecessary manipulation.
What licenses are you using that allows for you to distribute GAPPS?

I have included the 8.0 fingerprints on the new build to make SafetyNet pass.

What happens if you try to use NTFS formatted USB drive? Decided to check it out and it worked for me.
The latest assembly pleases with its stability, speed, autonomy.
To further refine the awakening of the screen in double tap and the perfect firmware will be straight!
For me getting very good battery backup of around 4 hours sot and nice idle drain. The best i have been getting in long time. Snappy rom with no bugs.

Can you explain the issue with double tap to wake? Works fine for me.
Making it more responsive would probably increase idle battery drain, so I would prefer not to change it.

It's not on the official website, because these are not official builds.
Gestural navigation is pretty much broken if you don't tinker with build.prop manually. Seems to be an issue on another devices aswell that have hardware buttons (like Xiaomi Mi 5 etc).
Yes, everything is the same like for other phones that run this custom ROM.
