My new BlackView 9900 Pro will connect to the carrier's network, but the built-in MEID is invalid on serveral carrier's websites. I know it can be changed, but I don't know how to generate a valid one.
Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Johnny
I wonder that why the built-in MEID is invalid on the carriers' websites.

I'm working with my second (NEW) purchase, both from BlackView. They both have the same invalid MEID. No response from their support. It seems to be a great phone, if only I could use it as a phone.

I am not sure whether your current ROM has enabled the futures for due line SIM management but you check it under settings--->Personal--->Phone.
In there you should see a page in which you can change the settings for each line. If you don’t have those settings visible right now then get the little free application Advanced Configuration Tool 3.3 and enable those settings http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-advanced-configuration-tool.html
Hi
Does anyone know how to import the wireless authentication certificate from Win7 (for a WPA-Enterprise Wifi Nework - most corporate wifi networks), and install it on Android ?
Use case: I have a laptop that connects to my work wifi using a stored certificate and would like my phone to connect to the corporate wifi as well.
Also, the company does not 'officially' support Android phones. Only BB and iPhone allowed.

Your IT let you connect BB and Iphones on the Corporate Network?
Look, as an IT administrator I'm going to say this... if your IT department wanted you to connect your Android device to the corporate network, they would provision it for you. If they are not provisioning it for you, you're probably breaking company policy. Even if it were possible, there's no way I'd help you do this.

I see. Well that's like saying - 'If Samsung wanted you to have KitKat on their older models, they'd provision it for you. I will not help you install kangs'.
Thanks anyway. I'll look elsewhere

Not really, no. Installing a Kang is not affecting someone's corporate network, putting it at risk and putting your job at risk and potentially causing massive problems for your IT department.
It's more akin to saying "My company doesn't want me to have a corporate credit card. They've given me the numbers for online purchases but I want to use it in a physical shop. Can you help me print the details to a blank card"
anyway, I said "even if it was possible", meaning in other words "it's not possible"

I full quote.
Anyway, on serious networks the are always port-security enabled and several checks at access and distributions layers. Say that, @imarvind, even if you can import your certificate, this is does not mean that you can reach connectivity
The target of the software is to gather some network info remotely avoiding any notification to the target mobile user and not installing any software in the target mobile.
Let me explain the idea in detail. First of all, we know that if we press *#06# then we can see the IMEI number of the set. So, there might be some secret way or code so that anybody can get the IMEI number of any mobile set with the help of just target mobile number.
That was just an example. However, there are some system of ping to check the reachability in IP network. In GSM network also there should be some secret code by which ping, trace route targeting a mobile number is possible. By these, the availability of the target can be confirmed. By the trace route result, we can obtain the path Of the pong reply or ping, present cell id. The individual cell ID also carries the name of the area in Unicode which is displayed in many sets optionally. That text may also be obtained from that. Actually, we want to do this by developing and installing an android software. In that car, we need to know the coding, programming language and special DLL or header that has to be called for this purpose.
2. Is there any way to call or search IMEI in any mobile network? Is it possible to find out the mobile number by inquiring with IMEI number from any mobile?
3. There is a way to configure a GSM modem with a cloned SIM may be so that the target mobile's all traffics including voice and SMS, may be data also. By default, all SIM's destination priority setting is 0. In the case, the modem has the higher priority so that at first the traffics reach there, modem software captures and records the traffic and then throws again to the target device. It's clear that here, the modem acts in transparent mode so that the target do not feel anything as well as it does not catch eyes of operators. We want to do this.
As here, I'm throwing the complete requirement along with technical description. Please let me know any further requirement.

Display IMEI.IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) is a unique 15-digit number assigned to all cellular devices. We can use this number to block a mobile phone from being used by another person or phone company if it has been lost or stolen.

I had read some articles about eSim
and got the below Conclusion.
Only for docomo(Japan), but I think it maybe same to other countries providers!
1. eSim default has a limited profile.
It's initially stored in the eUICC when it is shipped. It is a limited-application communication profile used only for downloading and switching Operational Profiles for connect to the carrier.
The parameters are:
ICCID, MSISDN(sounds tel-bum), IMSI
2. The profile that be download to eSim, is generated on the server by staff of carrier, and if it's has been registered, it will be deleted.
So, if you want to register to GearS3 with another device's eSim number, you need to ask the carrier to generate profile again.

Many app support to create QR code.
I scan a Germany Carrier's QR code that use for activation,
Got the below URL.
Of course, it lack many parameters that contained by default profile in the eSim.

The URL OF ESIM server(docomo) is this.
From My asus d01j tablet, I plan to use this esim to register my SM-r765f

Au, Another carrier's eSim, xml
It likes all of them use same site,
venyonservices.com
Many Thank you guys!
Plz refer me more info to creat QR-code to those carriers who don't supply QR for their Lte internet plan!
Another question!
Any guys know how to export an activated eSim profile?
Maybe We can make a dummy profile to download to gear3
A COPY eSim!
1.
Your SM-R765F is allready arrived?
2.
I can upload old/obsolete Firmware from SM-R765F for study...
Maybe you can find which files are eSIM related...
We have also SM-R765T and SM-R765A Firmware for study...
3.
German?
Du kannst nicht aus Versehen mich verstehen?
Best Regards
Dear brother ad free
Yes I receive the sm-r765f ,
buy from a Singapore girl who was luck for hit it in lot, and sell it on BBS.
It's amazing that I got a total brand new one and no registration for esim. Of course the ICCID is Singapore number dummy number(Singapore country code is 525, but this is 033!! ****The first digit of the mobile country code identifies the geographic region : 0 - Test networks***). See attached file.
So I think if can't replace it, maybe I can add necessary parameters to QR-code to overwrite.
Any way to export 765f's firmware? Tell me plz if know.
Thanks a lot.
I'm not Germany,
Even I like Germany's culture and products. ^^
It's much appreciated If you guys upload your own QR-code to study together!!!
