Anybody know for certain if I can flash the android 10 ROM released for the standard 7 pro on a 5G EE UK model?
In my head it should just disable the 5G radios or whatever the hardware differences there are but wanted to see if anybody had successfully done this or tried and failed.
I'm losing hope on a 10 release anytime soon so looking at other options.

Hi all. I have currently bought Galaxy s8 active to use it in Europe - Poland. It is a sprint / tmobile U variant. I have checked with samfirmware and since it's on G892USQS5BSF2 version - I assume it's a sprint version. It is hard to determine as they are both coded G-892U. Anyways the phone works well but the security patch is from last year and it's still on android 8. There apparently is an update to Android 9 but the phone won't update via OTA. And so are the questions:
1. Since they both are the "U" versions - can I flash the tmobile android 9 rom on it? I am asking because it's being used in tmobile Poland network.
2. If not, can someone reassure me that it indeed is a sprint version and flashing the latest sprint rom will do no damage?
3. Any idea why the caller id and spam protection option is grayed out? Is this because of regional limitation?

So as the title says I want to update my device to the latest Android 13 but when I try and check for software updates it says that my android software is up to date, while I saw a post that the update is available for my phone (not sure if it's available for the US variant though). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Oh and btw I don't have 5G while my phone supports 5G, please tell me if 5G will work after I update after the upgrade, thanks.
Just keep checking back. Or look up Odin and manually flash the firmware. Yes 5g still works
I have AT&T N986U model but it haven't received update after feb 2022

i have purchased a snapdragon model for use in the UK. since getting the phone i have not been able to update to one UI 5.
is there away to do this?
phones model is - SM-S908U1
Service provider information is - SAOMC_SM-S908U1_OYM_XAA_12_0028 XAA/XAA,XAA/XAA.
any help will be greatly appreciated

It's still being released in batches , all s22u models should have it by the end of November
Okay thanks. It's annoying as users in the uk are now getting one ui 5 on the s21 ultra.
In the how to section, there are instructions to flash it manually if you have the tech skills

you will get the updates if you dont root the phone, it doesnt matter where you use the phone.
your phone is the us variant because you live in the uk doesnt mean you will get the update for that phone because we have been getting the update you will have to wait till the firmware is released in the usa
Reliance have started it's functioning their True 5G(Stand Alone 5G) in our City.But they say that in order to get their True 5G the Fold2(Indian) need to install Software update for SA 5G.How can I get this Update from Samsung at the earliest?Or can it be downloaded from somewhere and installed manually?Or else can it be got installed by the official Samsung Service Centre?

I simply shifted to Airtel and 5g works fine
Has anyone got SA 5G for Fold2 by now?
