Finally, I kept wondering why XDA cannot be organised, and cannot adopt this system for all threads and stickies meaning all rules and XDA guides, should be here too, instead of being another sticky by another MOD. Thus the moment a guest or member clicks on this link or meant to pop up automatically the moment anyone visit this forum, they have it all.
References and guides and note worthy XDA articles can all be linked here . similar to the master guide you have already mentioned but including all the MOD's request , for every-time there is New MOD, I notice another sticky, all well meant and needed BUT can be placed in one sticky, is what I would think is a better organized forum. IMHO
And this thread should be managed by all MOD's instead of just one, who might retire or may be too busy with other tasks
Members, Please do not post in this thread unless you have a sticky request. Any off topic posts will be deleted immediately
If the title of my thread could be changed from 50 to 100, that'd be great.
Thanks.

Hello
Im looking for information on unlocking sprint phones. IMEI is clean, but as always phone is locked and policy requirements are not meet to unlock it. Any suggestions? I dont want to root, and sprint codes are hard to find, while at&t is easy for whatever reason.

Please check this thread: Sprint Galaxy S 5 Android Development [MOD] Unlock your native hotspot app by miked63017.
Or better this one: [App] GS5 Native Hotspot Unlocker by miked63017.
Maybe this can help in your case.
More information about CM12 for your device can be found in the [ROM] CyanogenMod 12.0 | Android 5.0 Lollipop | [03/13/2015] by albinoman887 thread.
And keep in mind that you need the "Individual CDMA build for kltespr".
See this thread for information about your device model too: Virgin Mobile Galaxy s5 "Post here" of your ideas/learned by shadowman280x.
Best to register on xda and ask in this thread directly, or in the Sprint Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum.
Good luck !

I want to use the service that you would normally have to pay for, not the native hotspot. I need to find out how to stop CyanogenMod 12 from blocking the hotspot check and provisioning. How would I do this? I only get 2.5 gigs of high speed data and can buy 2 gigs of hotspot for my phone. I have virgin mobile BTW.

If you can't find a solution in the CM12 ROM thread, please ask in the Q&A/Troubleshooting forum I linked in my previous answer.
Unfortunately new members are not allowed to post in dev threads and there is no dedicated CM12 ROM Q&A thread for your device.
But in the troubleshooting forum you should get proper help.

Easy Root for LG Leon 5.1.1: NO KingRoot

It was easy. Seriously. I just followed very clear instructions in THIS FORUM. Whilst the thread instructions were for the LG Stylo, someone there suggested it should work for the T-Mobile Leon w 5.1.1. Couldn't have been easier. No weird KingRoot stuff. Really simple. Just PAY ATTENTION and don't blindly copy the code in the directions w/o correcting it to reflect YOUR PORT NUMBER. Here's the link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g-stylo/how-to/guide-how-to-root-lgls770-5-1-1-t3184649
Don't reply to MY thread asking me for details. Everything I used was in the OP of the above-cited thread. QUESTIONS? Read the thread and post questions THERE.
For the record, I have:
T-Mobile LG Leon
Unlocked by T-Mobile
Android 5.1.1
Android security patch level 2016-05-01
Baseband version MPSS.DPM.2.0.c11-00021-M8936FAAAANUZM-1.19638.1.19833.1
Kernel version 3.10.49
Software version H34510h

[CLOSED] Moto e6 XL2005DL swap to Moto e6 XL2005-5

So I'm trying to figure out if I can swap out from xt2005dl to xl2005-5. Here is my issue. I got the Moto e6 Xl2005DL from a friend because my Moto e6 fell into the Lake well out on a boat fishing. But because of me liking the moto E6 I'm wanting to know if I can Flash the 2005-5 firmware. I know I'll still have the same IMEI as the 2005DL but I'm wanting to use it with Att because that's the service in my area now. So seeing how Att uses gsm and got rid of the cdma service is it possible. Or does someone have a better idea that I can use with Att. When I looked at the Att phone compatibility list only the Moto e6 XL2005-5 version is compatible. Any suggestions and can I do it with out bricking it. Also I have the straight talk version right now but it has the Sprint service info but nothing but WiFi is working. My friend I think installed the wrong version. But I've tried everything about to fix it. I can't root it with any fast roots iroot kingroot nothing so I'm guessing I need to flash it to make it work. Just asking before it becomes a boat anchor too. Lol. Thanks for any advice.
