T-Mobile Dual Case - LG Velvet Questions & Answers

Hey just picked up this phone from Costco as it was on sale for 50% off! Really liking and considering picking up a dual screen case for it.
Its the T-Mobile version and from what I have read it its slightly different from the other carries. Would a the dual case from Verizon work? Or does it need to be specific to T-mobile?

JuanBagnell says it's not compatible :

Selling HTC Sensation & Stuff!!!!

Hey all!!
I am going to be selling my HTC Sensation 4G (on T-mobile, USA) once the Galaxy Nexus comes to T-mobile soon! The phone is new, I bought it last month because I didn't want to wait for the Nexus, but now that I see it, I'm going to be selling it for the off contract price on ebay, probably a little cheaper. But with my HTC Sensation I'll be selling my OtterBox I have for it, the T-mobile snap on case, my Zagg Invisasheild (that is on the screen), a generic T-mobile Sensation screen protctor, an Anker Desk Dock, a Anker 1900mAH battery, as well as the HTC stock battery, a 4 GB Micro SD Card, but I will not be including my SIM card because I'll need that for my Nexus, so you must already have a T-mobile SIM Card compatable for their HSPA+ Network. And just because I don't need it anymore I'll be putting in my OG HTC myTouch (red), and it works fine for an old phone, it has paint chipped off of it, but hardware wise it is 100% fine.
So if you would like to buy I am thinking of asking anyone on the forums before selling it on ebay, so just PM if you want to give me a price you would pay for everything!
Wrong forum. Doubt you get that much, though.

oh, thank you! I wasn't sure which forum to post on. and I changed my price. I wasn't thinking I'd get that much either lol

New back panel for Nexus S

Hello folks,
I have the Nexus S that was released on launch day - Dec 16, 2010. I believe that was the I9020 or I9020T. I would like to give this as a gift to someone, I would like to buy a new back.
I had bought one from eBay, but the cheap one was for I9023. Sadly, it did not fit - it was some 2 mm too long.
I now see tons for I9020A - any idea if those would fit?
I don't think it will. Yes the OS and how they both run is the same, but I don't think that is will work. That is what happened to my Nexus S when I bought the cheaper cover and it didn't fit. I have the slightest feeling that it won't fit.
The I9020A, I9020T use the same back cover I think. The reason the I9023 cover didn't fit, is because the phones size is slightly different due to it having an LCD display, Instead of the AMOLED one on the I9020A/I9020T

New Note 3 user

Well I figure I'd check in over here since I picked up a new/used Note 3. Bought it off a guy on craigslist for $400, original box and a new Otter Box Defender. Still have my S4 but I figure for the price I'll give it a go. Don't plan on rooting it, I rooted my S4 and damn, I couldn't stay on the same rom for more than a few days.
Like the Otter Box but hate the belt clip, gotta have a belt clip holster so I picked up the one at Best Buy made by Seidio. I think BB calls it the Platinum series case, love that style for work but I think if I keep the Note I'll order the Seidio Dilex case with holster. Also ordered the Nillkin 9H Hardness Tempered Glass Front Screen Protector, should be here on Thursday.
Now off to You Tube for some video training on this S-Pen.
I was like that on my HTC One, once I rooted I changed ROM's daily, still kinda am currently on the Note also haha
What version did you pick up? - 400 isn't a bad price either

Yup, there's (to name a few) N900A(snapdragon) N900T(snapdragon) N900V(snapdragon) N900 (exynos) N9005(snapdragon) N9002(dual sim) and some other variants, The difference being the CPU and LTE connectivity, also the main one N9005 (international version) Doesn't have ATT/Verizon LTE bands etc they don't always play nice if bought from one network and you want to work on another network

replacing cracked screen

hello,
i have here a lumia 1020 froom at&t. it has a cracked screen.
i wanted to ask, if i can just buy an digitizer screen from ebay and replace it, because i know there are some differences between the us at&t model and the international one (as i know its only about the frequencies gsm, lte etc). should there be a problem with a possible other pin assignment for the display connectors ?
second i wanted to ask if i can flash an international debranded windows phone version over the at&t firmware (after the phone has been sim unlocked)
I cracked the screen of my 1020 twice, both times I bought a screen at amazon, different sellers. The first time the screen was perfect 100%, the second time the screen that I received was a bit faulty, I had a gab between the body of the phone and the screen and you could see light coming out from the side of the phone, annoying. eventually the corner of the screen broke again, I 'm not changing it again, the screen for this phone is too expensive and already bought two, my next screen will come with the phone that replaces 1020. maybe 1030 or whatever it is. Just try to get it from a good seller that could relace if it comes faulty.
the same problem. trying to deattach the glass and keep digitizer. if will be successful will publish the guide.
Just buy display assembly from good seller. The rest is simple.
I tried to separate the glass from digitizer and broke the LCD in the process. Later had to buy the whole display assembly.
Only concern was, you get glass for less than a dollar, but display assembly costs 100+ dollars.

Hello todarkness, if you buy a screen without frame, both at&t and international models are interchangeable, otherwise, you'll have to buy the at&t version if you need the frame as well.

I'm in USA and bought verizon version(LM-V450VM). Is dual screen option available?

It seems like I was only able to find the dual screen case for the korean version of the phone. I've seen reviews all over the place that shows dual screen capability but I cannot find anywhere to buy it.
I was able to find one ebay link and in the details it says it doesn't work for the USA version. (I can't post it being a new user)
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
Only the Korean and European version have the three pings on the back, that powers the second screen. The USA version does not have them. Here's a picture as an example.
Some how in the USA we got screwed. No dual screen, I didn't find out until I got mine. Dual screen was the main reason why I got the V50
What are you talking about?

The dual screen uses a USB C connection for power.

In the US LG only sells the dual screen for the G8X, The V50 Thinq 5G from Verizon fits in the case fine but does not have the necessary software to detect the screen.
It appears if someone could understand the code on this page it should be possible to make it work with the US model.
Did anyone ever figure this out? I bought what was called a Verizon LM-V450VN and it most definitely has the 3 pogo pins on the back of the phone. I'm thinking it was a Korean version that has Verizon software on it. I was able to update it OTA Verizon
so at least that worked. I also picked up a second screen case for it that has the 3 pogo pins in the case. When I snap it all in though the second screen will not come on. I'm thinking this is the Verizon software. Would the way around this be to try to install the Korean software? If anyone has had success with this I'd sure love to know.

The second screen is available on Amazon for $199.
After reading all of the horror stories about the second screen hinges breaking screens coming out of the carrier etc I decided against it.
