I have two oneplus 6t phones. One phone is locked to Tmobile
I did convert the phone to international version but never unlocked it.. I used to primarily use dual sim. i used the following thread to do it https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...thout-unlocked-bootloader-sim-unlock.3888307/
I can't use dual sim on the phone as it is still locked to Tmobile
Question - Is there a way I can somehow bring back phone to factory settings as it was delivered 2 years ago by Tmobile ?
if that is not possible i have another exact phone but that is unlocked by tmobile. Can I somehow backup the whole software and everything and mimick it on the other phone ?

I'm very excited for about this phone. I hope there will be nice software development for it.
Definitely interested in the Plus and Pro versions of this device.
I've been using a Huawei Mate 7 for nearly a year now and I'm fine with the size factor of it, and I think I'd like the even larger size of the Phab 2. I can't wait to see some tests on the finished product and some camera samples. :fingers-crossed:
Good to know that it does have NFC, GsmArena doesn't have NFC listed for it, but not having USB OTG is a bummer. I also wonder if it has MHL and WiFi Direct.
I just signed up for when its going to be released, this might be my next new phone.
I would love it if this phone had CDMA compatibility. I'm stuck on Verizon in my area, so once again I'm disappointed...

I don't like it either. But unfortunately CDMA only takes up 15% of the market (mostly North America) while the GSM standard takes up 85% of the market share. So if I were a smartphone manufacturer, unless I had an exclusive contract with Verizon or Sprint, I'd put all my energy towards making my device compatible with the most broadly used standard.
CDMA is starting to make some inroads in other countries, so maybe that will spur more device manufacturers to include the CDMA frequencies in future phones.
Thanks for the insight Clarkson. I didn't realize that there was such a big difference, but I knew there was one. This may be extremely naive, but doesn't it seem like they could just include CDMA radios and charge an extra $20 or something? I have a Nexus 6P that I'm extremely happy with right now, but I'm always on the lookout for my next phone. This one is unlocked and I activated it on Verizon, so I know they can do it!
Phone doesn't have NFC I posted this on Lenovo site and got answer from "Lenovo"
Does it have NFC ?

No it does not
Champagne Gold?
Any word on when champagne gold will be available? If I'm spending $500, why not be happy with the color?
The other disappointment for me is the micro USB. I suppose I can compromise on the lack of USB-C but I've been spoiled.
I currently use a ZTE Zmax Pro, a quick pick up after returning the Note 7. I discovered that I loved the 6-inch screen. Why not go for a 6.5 with higher screen resolution?
The camera and battery of the Phab 2 pro are much better. I'm a big OneNote stylus user so the screen real estate is more attractive to me than Tango.

I am glad the US is finally getting a phone this size with decent specs. I used to have the Z Ultra back in the past but their camera was dismal and had no flash but it was still a beast. I see the Phab 2 Pro as it's replacement for me as far as size, camera, screen resolution and full LTE support. I think Sony dropped the ball big time by not having a follow-up to the Z Ultra....I am currently using the Mate 8 but I have used the Mi Max and Honor Note 8 this year as well but the Mate 8 won me over and after I get this Phab 2 Pro..I will not get another phone for awhile
Z Ultra also had bezel from hell. Its touch screen eventually stopped working on me. I had the GPE.
4G LTE Verizon works

This phone works on Verizon 4G
Does this phone get calls over VoLTE or drop to 3G like the Phab 2?
01/26/17 EDIT: I had to go buy one to find out for myself... YES this device uses VoLTE (HD) For Calls.
OnePlus has launched its 6T McLaren smartphone, which is available for $699 in the US.
The device is based on the OnePlus 6T, but packs 10GB of RAM and features McLaren branding on the chassis.
It also packs a Qualcomm 845 processor and 256GB of storage.
A feature punted by OnePlus is the phone’s Warp Charge 30 charging, which lets users recharge 50% of their 3,700mAh battery in 20 minutes using a wired charger.
A 6.41-inch AMOLED display (2,340 x 1,080), dual rear cameras, Android 8.0, a USB-C port, and LTE-A connectivity also feature on the phone.

10GB of ram on a phone. We're not in Kansas anymore.
Sexy phone. If I had money to blow, I would get it. However realistically it's just a OnePlus 6 in a cute dress.

Exactly and the 845 processor is about to be left behind as the SD855 is going to be in the next round of phones in Feb or Mach. This is the reason I think the T variants are a money grab and aren't worth getting as you're basically paying premium for tech about to be replaced with the next gen. At least with a regular OP6 you get to have the top end chip for a year before it's replaced.

currently have an unlocked redmi note 9 pro in usa on ATT.

problem is ma bell claims this is a 3g device (as not purchased from them), and therefore I cannot
enable
a) wifi calling
b) any service on this thing
since my apartment is 4g/5g
is this 6gb ram/256 gb storage worth going slightly backwards on camera and processor?
current redmi 6gb/128gb and 64mb camera.
your thoughts?
thanks in advance
update. pulled trigger and bought it. hope I can root it easily
2.5 month review of moto 5G stylus
ehh. Camera is worse then my redmi.
everything else is ok.
I haven't (had time) rooted yet..
nice with the larger amt of ram.
Only had my T-Mobile 4/128 a dew days. But I am ompressed with what you get with a low price phomne. 5,000ma battery is so nice.
Hello friends.
Will motherboard from Oneplus 8T work inside Oneplus 9R?
#1 The display and chassis of my Oneplus 8T (KB2003, 12/256) are damaged. But motherboard is 100% alive.
I have an opportunity to get a fully functioning chassis+internals of Oneplus 9R (LE2100, 8/128) for a pretty cheap price.
My understanding is that these 2 phones are identical (except for the chipset/CPU), physically, internally they are absolutely the same.
#2 Question: As I see in the specs the 8T has more bands, if I put 8T motherboard into 9R - will the extra 4G/5G bands work in my "new" phone?
