Lets say you're watching a video(in full screen). You feel the brightness isn't well adjusted. What if you could adjust the brightness with just a swipe instead of going through the hassle of closing the video, and then opening settings.
This app lets you do that.
Swipe-In is a useful tool with which you can change different settings on your phone with just a swipe on the screen.
Unleash the power of swipes to change settings in a hassle-free way.
Another example. Consider you're playing a game in full screen while listening to music. To change a song you would have to exit the game and open the music player app. There's an alternative. You can just swipe to bring the music player widget on screen. Change the song, remove the widget and carry on with your game.
To begin ,simply create a hotspot, select a type and begin swiping. The hotspots can be positioned at any edge.It can also be made invisible so that they do not block the view. Please make sure to read help before you begin using it.
The current version supports the following settings:
1.Brightness
2.Ringer volume
3.Music volume
4.In-Call volume
5.WiFi
6.WiFi Hotspot
7.Bluetooth
8.Airplane mode
9.Data network
10.GPS
11.A launcher that shows apps you select, or recent apps.
12.Place widgets on screen(movable,re-sizable and removable)
Thanks for this app, I find it really useful, well done.
If I have one bug to report, it's that the app name text gets cut off when bringing up the selection of favorite apps.
hmm....looks nice...handy to use...
Being a subscriber to Google Play Music and someone with several different DLNA renders and even a few AirPlay receivers in my home and car I am deeply disappointed with the lack of integration for either of these services into both GPM app and even just Android in general. Especially since my wife has an iPhone and audio streaming is as simple as a swipe and a click for her. Now AirPlay I can at least give a pass to since it is a direct competitors protocol, but the lack of DLNA support is confusing to me honestly.
Now I am already aware of several solutions out there that allow you to capture system audio and stream via DLNA; my first attempt was with BubbleUPNP's audio cast feature, and although it did what I was looking for I was less than happy with the time it takes to get music playing each and EVERY time I want to use it to stream.
So basically I have found a way to alleviate this with a combination of two applications. Essentially by the end of it I am now able to simply swipe down from the right side of my status bar and simply toggle all the different receivers in my home and car on and off. So if your someone like me, with a lot of audio receivers everywhere, this could be VERY useful, simply by alleviating the hassle of having to mess through so many menu's just to get a song playing. The only downside for some might be that both of these apps are PAID applications and so you might have to shell out some cash to get this up and running. But honestly I am more than willing to support these awesome developers.
So without further ado lets get to the good stuff.
1. Firstly you will need root as one of these apps require it.
2. The two apps you'll need for this are AirAudio and Snap Swipe Drawer
*I know there are other apps that can do it but AirAudio has a few advantages and a critical feature we will need. One it works with a ton of different streaming protocols including AirPlay, DLNA, AllPlay, Fire TV, Google Cast, etc. The critical piece of this software though is that it comes with togglable widgets which we will need to accomplish our goal of simplicity!!*
3. So now that you have both apps up and running open AirAudio first and make sure you locate and connect to all of the receivers your wanting to set up for quick access and least once. It has to connect at least once in order to be able to make a widget out of it. Also run through its settings and make sure everything is set to your liking. You might want to name each of your receivers something unique and simple as well.
4. Now that AirAudio is setup we can go into "Settings > Apps > AirAudio" and completely block all notifications for this app. Technically this is optional but it goes a long way to make this implementation clean and it keeps your notifications drawer free of clutter when its connected. Won't be a loss really since you can control the receivers volume with your hardware buttons anyway and your music app of choice most likely already has a notification.
5. Now we are going to make this truly powerful and convenient! AirAudio comes with some nice widgets that make toggling a receiver as simple as a single click. Only downside is that you can normally only have them on your home screen and they take up screen real estate, while also looking kinda out of place. Thanks tough to our second app: Snap Swipe Drawer, we can create a dropdown of widgets of our choosing that we can access from any screen, any time!
- Open Snap Swipe Drawer and open "preferences" from the top right menu. In here you can set it up to your liking. Most importantly do you want your drop down to come from the right, left or center when you swipe down from the status bar. You may also wish to enable the accessibility service to make the transitions and behavior smoother.
- Now go back to the front page and click the FAB button with the "+" in the bottom right corner. Choose AirAudio widget and choose your first receiver! Once its in the list click it and configure it so that Columns=4 and Rows=1. This is the most pleasant for my taste at least but feel free to configure to yours if you like. Thats it, Now swipe down from whichever side you chose in "preferences" just as if your trying to open your notifications and a new menu will drop down containing your new widget!!
6. Profit!! Repeat for every receiver you need and there you go! You can now toggle audio streaming just as quickly, and painlessly as IOS users can, from any screen! And we have the added benefit of having more than just AirPlay available to us, compared to IOS, thanks to the power of Android!!!
I really hope this guide helps somebody else as much as it helped me. Not everybody uses streaming audio on the daily but for those that do this will be a game changer!!!
---Just a small tip to make it even better. I am an xposed user with GravityBox and in GB under "Satusbar tweaks > Quicksettings Management" I have "quick pulldown" set up from the left and also I have Snap Swipe Drawer setup to open from the right. I also have "auto switch quicksettings" in GB set to "When there are no notifications". Basically what this accomplishes is that if I want to see notifications I swipe down from the center. If I want to get right to my quick toggles I swipe down from the left, and if I want to toggle a DLNA/AirPlay receiver I swipe down from the right.
---Also use your imagination, you can use any widget available SSD app so you can make your experience even more customized and useful by playing around with it some more and getting your moneys worth.
Hi,
I have sound on phone and sonos in same time...
Is it possible to have sound only on Sonos ? Root + Module OK...
Thanks
Hey there,
AirAudio has been kicked by Google because they didn't like a link to a rooting-website inside the description anymore, written 7 years ago.
Its successor is called AirMusic and allows to stream some apps (eg. YouTube, YT Music, Deezer, PodcastAddict , radio.de, Plex and more, you have to try it out) without root on Android 10+.
On rooted devices, all audio can be transmitted.
No Thanks
I have no idea about these but I will try to my best.
After using the phone for a month, here are my biggest problems with the device.
1. No Double tap to wake up, or even Raise to wake up. With the fingerprint on the back, and the small power button on the side it's really hard to wake up the phone just to check your notifications.
2. Notifications not working sometimes for some apps. Multiple reports for Viber and other apps even after giving permission to work on the background and show on the lock screen still not working.
3. No notification badge for all apps. Just for couple. As ex iPhone user this is great that some apps have it, but it would be better all apps to support it.
4. Notes doesn't sync with Google account. Big problem. On my iPhone it was so nice that all my notes were showing on the Notes app. Even when I had Galaxy Note 2 and 3 this was available.
5. No Reminders app. Okay they are trying to mimic the iOS experience, how they could forget about Reminders app? Now is so annoying to add a simple reminder. You need to go to Calendars app, make event, from there make it reminder... It's easier to use Google search and add it there by voice. But the tone for Google search is very weak and it's easy to miss the notification.
6. I would like more Themes. The catalog is pretty poor. Especially now for holidays it would be great more themes. And for kids too (Off-topic: Please make Frozen (movie) theme and upload it to the theme store, kids will love it).
7. Right now no Night mode. Hope they will add this with Update.
8. Stock Apps are not uploaded in Google Store. Huawei is still lacking in this area. Most OEMs are uploading all their apps for faster and easier updates. Now we need a new firmware if there is something broken/missing.
9. Huawei keyboard - this is connected to 7. It's outdated and missing a lot emojis. Had to switch to Google keyboard. For some reason Huawei keyboard makes less mistakes when typing and less mistakes when swyping. And instead of those ugly Blobs/robots emojis to change them to iOS/Samsung style. With those blobs most of the time you don't know what they express.. At least this is a big problem for me.
10. I wish the OS would use iOS/Samsung style emoji. Samsung phones see them like the one here on XDA, now even if you get text from iPhone, they show up as blobs.. Really hate this. Even developers are adding iOS style emojis in the android apps - Watsapp, Facebook messenger and others...
11. I don't know how it's called, Huawei assistant that finds your phone or makes calls. Too restricted. Here should be "Add reminder", "Wake up" simple command to wake up the screen. This is a good solution for number 1 from the list here.
12. No way to turn off the Haptic Feedback. This is really annoying! I don't like it, don't want it and not being able to get rid of it is a big problem.
I think this is all I don't like right now. If something comes up I will add it.
So, what about you?
P.S: If you want something or have problem with something please report it with Huawei Product & Technical Support Here.
I can only count 4 issues preventing this phone to be perfect for my needs:
1. Double tap to wake
2. No option to increase vibration
3. No option to hide nav buttons in certain applications
4. Image stabilization

There is image stabilization - Stabilizer from the settings. It will crop a little the frame but works pretty good

1- use "wave to unlock" working very well
2- is it really a problem?
3- you can if you have root
4- software image stabilization is here already

1. Valid (u could root and get xposed)
2. Valid (i think there are xposed modules for this no idea. havent rooted myself)
3. Valid (but u could get nova launcher or sth)
4. No idea about this one, dont personally use notes
5. I think this is a minor problem, nothing major tbh
6. There are plenty of emui themes on the interwebz
7. idk which version you have but I have night mode in mine (non rooted stock). You just go to do not disturb and u can set evening times
8. Valid (but u could root and disable and then use google apps)
9. Keyboard is minor problem. plenty of choices on google play store that blow this crappy stock keyboard out the water i.e. google keyboard, swype, swiftkey (personally i use google)
10. (same as 6)You can get themes for that on xda and interwebz that change icons (if you use huawei home. Also, nova launcher etc. can change icons)
11. I wouldnt use huawei assistant to begin with. But thats your own personal opinion. (google now is way better)
12. Um again, idk what version you have but i can turn off haptic feedback (as in vibrations). Settings -> Sound -> Vibrate on touch.
ofc this is your personal list but rooting or following some of my suggestions could easily fix most of this. Also, in the next nougat update which will prob come around december or the very latest january, i think notifications are fixed. Ofc, they might add more settings as the beta build is beta and things can easily change as long as huawei wants to.

Not sure, if I understood your questions ... but yes, you can add the network mode activity, like any other activity, to this tile.
BUT the network mode is a tricky one ... the network mode activity uses some heavy workarounds and standard Android, manufacturers and even roms (looking at you cm/lineage) mess around with this feature .... sometimes adding a 3 seconds wait activity between the network mode activity and another activity will solve issues, sometimes it does not ... If it does not work for you, send me a message with details (device, rom, root methode, quicktile activities and a log file) and I will have a look ... but don´t expect a fix.... some things are not fixable

you are welcome. thanks for the feedback!
Hi all,
QuickTile has more than 50 different activities, some easy to understand (like the standard device settings activities), some more unique, complex and powerful. A lot of users ask me which activities to use and how to handle complex setups, so I decided to introduce some use cases. A lot of these activities are unique (no other app will provide something similar), so I will focus on these activities. In each post I will introduce 2-4 features/ activities ... so let´s start with:
# Text-to-Speech:
QuickTile has a powerful Text-to-Speech engine. Currently 3 different activities are supported:
- Text-to-Speech: Let QuickTile Speak any text you want ... you can combine this with any other activity to give you some audio feedback, for example combine the text "WiFi ON" with the WiFi ON activity ... or you can use it for fun and let your device say "good morning ascsa" or something completely different.
- Speak time: Tells you the time
- Say Date: Tells you the date
# External Plugin:
This unique feature let you use standard automation plugins with QuickTile. What does that mean: You can use a wide range of automation plugins (the same you could use with e.g. Tasker) to fire automation task activities ... for example you could fire "Secure Settings Plugin" activities with QuickTile or use "Pushbullet" to send notifications to other devices or you can fire "Greenify" tasks. All you have to do is install the Plugin App and choose your activity via the "External Plugin" Group.
# HttpGet and HttpPost
You can use QuickTile to send HttpGet and HttpPost request ... Very cool and powerful feature, you can do all kinds of cool stuff with this...
Some users control their Smarthomes via QuickTile ... You can for example switch on your smart Hue lights with just a Tile in your quick settings. Pretty cool isn´t it?
QuickTile has a lot of other cool and unique features and if you enjoy this post, just let me know and I will present some other cool features in similar posts. ...
QuickTile unique and cool features Part 2:
Received a lot of positive feedback for the previous "QuickTile cool features" postet, so let´s have a look at some other cool activities and features in QuickTile:
# Music Player (Start/Launch)
You can fire up your music player and start playing music (play/pause parameter recommended)....
Yep, doesn´t sound much, BUT you can combine this activity with other activities and features and create your own customized "play music profile" ... e.g. add the "Set Music vol" activity and bring your media volume to 100 % and also add the "Ringer" activity (both -> Device settings) with the "Do NOT Disturb" parameter to enjoy your music ....AND you can add an additional cycle to stop the music, bring back your music volume to e.g. 34 % and bring your Ringer mode back to normal ...cool :good:
Cycle 1:
- Music Player : Play
- Set Music Volume: 100
- Ringer: Do not Disturb
Cycle 2:
- Music Player : Stop
- Set Music Volume: 34
- Ringer: Normal
Remember to choose a Pause icon (II) for cycle 1 and a Play icon (>) for cycle 2 and matching labels, because QuickTile will always show you the icon + label for the next cycle ... You can also add more activities like bluetooth on/off or Navigation to this Tile
#Navigation (Start/Launch)
Start a Navigation ... Just enter your desired address as parameter and you are good to go ... or keep the address empty to just open your navigation app
You can also combine this activity with other activities start a custom car mode (e.g. WiFi off, Bluetooth on, Music Player Play etc.)
or you can try out the Android Car Mode (depends on your rom / device)
#Car Mode (Start/Launch)
Start the android car mode ... I would recommend to install Android Auto and you should be good to go
Should be enough for part 2 of this "QuickTile cool features and activities" post ....
Feedback always welcome
Update 1.10.1
Update 1.10.1 is out in the wild --> Google Play
Contains a new Set Orientation Activity. You could now fix your display orientation to Portrait, Landscape, Reverse Portrait or Reverse Landscape :good:
Update 1.10.+
* Set Orientation activity
* Bugfixes

Screen off time: Have you tried the Display timeout activity ? just add a parameter (ASAP depends on device/ firmware, but all others should work on all devices :fingers-crossed
volte: VoLTE has no native Activity ... not sure if it´s possible via shell or root shell command (I do not use it and can not test it) ... Anyone with feedback regarding volte ?
For VoLTE switch I found the correct option, see my attached pic....
For screen off time I looking for the right set up if I have more time ^^
Everything I've found only covers S21 and none of the methods I've found to disable are available on the S22.
So my question is. Anyone found a means to disable game booster as of yet that doesn't require root?
Advanced features and game launcher if that's what your referring too.
Other than that, what game booster are you referring to?
That's the only option I know of called booster inside the game launcher
Game launcher in advanced is already turned off. But i'm still getting the stupid pop up in the lower left corner when i launch any game.
