Hey guys,
I own a china version of M30pro since a while, I tried several methods to install GMS, I was opted for having GMS working + push notifications and use Aurora instead of Google Play Store.
After the Googlefier method has been released I wanted to give it a try, I first tried it on my MatePad Pro (MRX-W09) and it was successful. Only thing is that the push notifications (and some local apps used in my country) doesn't work.
I used this video to setup GMS :
Video 1 googlefier
After that I found another video for push notifications which I tried on MPad Pro and it works 100%
Video 2 push notifications
all is working like a charm on the MPad Pro but on my M30Pro I got the google play protect only 2 times per day (once in the morning/once in the evening)
to solve it I just turn off internet, clear cache+data for GSF and reboot, check the GSF number on device ID until it appears then turn on internet, all works again until next error notification or next restart of the phone.
My question is why does it work on MPad Pro without any error and not on my M30Pro ?
is there any cure to get rid of the notification
is it because it's china version ? can you clarify this to me ?
P.S : 1- on both all is working fine : push notifications, apps, GPlay store...
2- the tablet is wifi only, no sim card
Thank you !
Did u solve it ?
no still having the periodic error on my phone
just living with it.
Same .so do i.im indonesia version.literlaly asia

Hello there guys,
I just got my Honor 6 Dual SIM (H60-L02) from China. I need a phone with two SIM cards, and I fell in love with this one
It's a Chinese version, and although I got it with installed Play store, it's not working as it should. I had this same problem with my previous Chinese phone, Lenovo S860.
I have applications installed through Play, but some of them are not working as best as they should (especially with notifications and refreshing), and I can't add my Google Contacts to sync with phone.
I eventually found international ROM for Lenovo S860 and installed it on my 1GB Chinese version, and it worked great.
So, I'm interested if anyone knows if there is a way to install international version ROM on this Honor model, so I have all Google apps as they should be?
If anyone can help, please help
I love the phone, but these small problems are a bit annoying...
No you should not use the H60-L04 ROM on your L02, but there is a way to get the L02 work with GApps and so.
I don't have it, so I can't help you more, but there are lot of people who deal with it.
I have flashed GApps, and my phone is rooted.
But, I have some problems with notifications, with Viber, Facebook, and some mail applications.
When I open Viber, it says "Connecting" in the bottom, so I think it's not running all the time, so there are no notifications until I open the actual app.
Anyone has that kind of a problem?
It seems like the program doesn't have appropriate permissions to work like you want it. So give them to it. Allow it to push messages to dropzone, to run after the screen is off, to push messages to notification bar and so on. You can use Phone manager or go to settings and so on. Search the forum all of this has been explained. About gapps also, everything is working like it should be with this phone.
So after a factory reset, I have upgraded to Android 10 and I have 2 main problems:
1) I have the Honor 5 smartband and I need the Huawei Health app to control it. There were never problems before Android 10. Now the app doesn't even open and requests for the Huawei Mobile Services app to run in the background. I have checked the Services app and is not Battery limited and also I have given it Permissions for storage, location and locked it for not closing while in background. Still I can't find any other settings for such autostart options
2) The Super backup app was always working fine with SMS backup and restore in the past. Now when I select the restore mode nothing happens. But the backup is there to check it, as there is a view option.
Any ideas?

I'm not saying this with 100% certainty but, I think when I did the update to Android 10 my huawei magic watch was working normally (notifications at least).
After the update I decided to do a factory reset, and after installing the huawei health and the Huawei Mobile Services app it kept giving me the same error has you mention, so I decided to rollback to 9.0.9.
So maybe try to do a rollback install the app, check if it works ok, and then do an update to Android 10 without factory reset and see if everything stays working 100%.
I just don't have the time and patience to do that =P.
Wierd, I also did a clean installation of A10, rooted with magisk. Huawei health and mobile services have been working flawlessly with my watch gt.

So no special permissions for any of them?
Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
So... I went again to Android 9 and installed the app and paired my smartwatch. Until here all fine.
Then I did the update again to Android 10 and for a moment the app and the smartwatch was working fine, but it started doing the same problem stated by RASTAVIPER, sometimes it opens and connects to the smartwatch sometimes it gives the error. So definitely a problem with the app or Android 10 permissions!
For does who need Huawei health don't update to Android 10 until some fixe is found.

So it's confirmed for the incompatibility...
@joaoresende When you jumped from Android 10 to Android 9, did you have a factory reset? Or you just flashed the Rom of Android 9 directly through TWRP?

So... After some long hours of use, everything works fine, some times the warning pops up from the Huawei health app saying that I need to give permissions bla bla bla... But if I close and reopen the app everything works fine. Until right know i got no connection drops.
So, I did a downgrade for Android 9 from local upgrade menu of system update, and automatically it does a factory reset (because its a downgrade), then I a installed only the basic apps and the Huawei stuff and checked if everything worked fine. After that, I did the update to Android 10 without a factory reset, and the Huawei health kept working "at least 90%" xD
I really don't know what's going on, when I did a clean install of Android 10 I gave every permission possible to both the apps and still no success, for know I think this has to work. =(
Huawei health issue
I bought the Huawei smartwatch gt 2 today. I went home, open the box and i was ready to set up my watch. The watch ask me to install Huawei health in order to make the pairing. SO i install this app. Guess what? Hueawei app ask me to install Huawei services as a requirement to work. I install this too. And guess what again? Huawei services app does not work so this means that Huawei Health doesnt work either WHICH means that i cannot make my brand new smartwatch functional cause it CANNOT work without these sitty apps! I am very frustrating with this situation and i called Huawei headquarters to give me some kind of solution. They said that the had no idea about this issue, they apologize and they will forward the issue to the technical department. Which means that they probably need time to prepare the proper update in order to make the app functional to all devices and to latest android versions including android 10 of course. So the fact that until they fix this annoying issue i will have to not being able to do anything with my brand new watch drives me really crazy.
I am using OnePlus 7 pro. I try everything. Install and uninstall both apps several times, giving any kind of permissions but no results at all!
Anyway, if there is anybody else with the same issue and have any ideas to solve this i will really appreciated it.
Thanks
I have exactry the same issue Oneplus 7T pro here...
Edit: Found a solution install not the latest version of HMS

I confirm that this has solved my problem too!
Thank u champ! :good:
Now, lets find a solution about restoring my SMS backup with the Super Backup app!
Also, is anyone using the Poweramp app? I discovered that it can't scan any folder, so songs can be found at the library.
Does anyone have the same problem as me I have discord, Skype and many other apps but I don’t get the notification for messages and etc!
yes I had the problem also. Got to settings-battery optimization and click on each app you want to get notifications from and select dont allow.
I have tried all of the following even with Huawei Email app:
1. Battery Op.
2. Notifications settings.
3. Even Premissions
And still nothing. I dont really

I had the same problem, reset the device..
Helped me...
i did that too!!!
Resetting helps as well. Huawei has aggressive memory management.
Can you please explain what you mean by 'resetting'?
As in a full factory reset, then side-load say Skype from apkpure, then notifications are all ok? That seems hard to believe.
I have a new P40 Pro, installed Skype (never tinkered with GMS) and notifications do not work.
I have a Chinese Mate 30 Pro 5G and since March no GMS installed (they worked perfectly when I bought the phone in November last year, the seller installed them, but stopped working at some point in March - out of no reason and I haven't been able to get them working properly again since then) - Skype notifications DO NOT work. No matter what. Factory reset doesn't help, battery optimisation disabled doesn't help, keeping it working in the background doesn't help, nothing really helps ... I found out that installing the app from Amazon Appstore (the version there actually looks like Skype Lite) makes the situation a bit better - at least notifications work for some 10-15 minutes after you open the app, but then stop working again even if the app is still running in the background. So forget about being available for a skype call ... you will most probably miss it and get no notifications until you open the app again.
I've tried installing GMS again lately (by several methods), but then even less notifications worked ... And also, since updating to EMUI 10.1.0.126 it's difficult to use the Lzplay, once you get it working, you can't uninstall Google Play Sevices unless you do a factory reset of the phone – so you won't be able to follow the latest instructions for installing the Google services on your phone).
In case you're wondering - without GMS, the situation with notifications for messaging apps on my phone is the following (my use of the messaging apps below is mostly work related):
-Messenger (installed from APK Pure): works 99%, sometimes the notifications for messages are a bit delayed (for a few minutes), but receiving a call always works
-Skype: as described before, but only when installed from Amazon Appstore, the usual Skype app gives no notifications
-Viber (installed from App Gallery): mostly works, sometimes notifications are delayed (up to 1 hour)
-WhatsApp (Installed by direct download link in the App Gallery): the only app that works with no issues at all (I always get all notifications instantly)
-Slack (installed from APK Pure): no notifications at all
-Teams (installed from APK Pure): no notifications at all
-Instagram - messaging (installed from APK Pure): no notifications at all
For emails I use Outlook and I mostly get all notifications instantly or there is a slight delay (a few minutes) – I use it for all my email accounts (Exchange, Gmail, Outlook …).
Honestly, considering how many apps just don't show any notifications, I'm slowly getting to the point of loosing it. A phone worth 1k€ that can not be used as a real smart phone ... It's really a big frustration. I didn't think it would be, but it simply is. Don't get me wrong – I really LOVE Huawei phones, especially the Mate series, but … On the other hand – beside Gmail account (which is not my primary email account but I still use it), I don't use or need (and I never have) any of Google apps or services (I was a Windows Mobile user before my first Android/Huawei experience, so believe me, I never needed any of the Google »****« in my life), but in case Huawei doesn't find a solution for such basic apps that are used widely in the western world, I don't think they will be able to keep us users loyal to their brand.
getting the same problem i have the chinese version of the device so annoying
can you help us ?
thank you.
Hey, after factory reset my gps version is 13.2.80 - it works perfectly fine and I can verify my debit card in googlepay using Mate 30 Pro. But after some time it automatically updates to a newer version wherein google pay resets and I can't verify my debitcard anymore on mate 30 - app in phone just crashes and I can't use googlepay in watch anymore. So here's my question - is it possible to disable google updates and just keep my watch going on the older version of google play services?
I am on EMUI12 (C432) and want to know whether or not it is safe to update google play services.
I installed it over a year ago using a method I cannot remember where I found, and currently have GSF frozen with icebox and the phone has been working perfectly (inc notifications) ever since. I just use Aurora to install/update apps (a bit of a pain having to do it manually but liveable).
Since going to EMUI/Android11 I am having some issues with Samsung Galaxy Wareable app being flakey with syncing with my Galaxy Watch, and also having recently got a car with Android Auto Wireless, I am having some issues with it too. On the latest version of Android Auto. Sometimes wireless works and sometimes it doesn't (the car has bluetooth connection which prompts phone to connect to the AA SSID but sometimes it just joins the bluetooth and then drops..
Anyway...
Currently on GPS version 20.47.13
Wondering if it is possible to update to a later version of play services without breaking notifications without first downgrading to EMUI10 -> EMUI11?
Thanks!
maximum 21.24.56.
It is possible to ruin all when you de-freeze GSF (play protect errors, auto-upgrade of Play Services, etc).
Thanks for your quick reply.
Can I go ahead and update the APK to 21.24.56 without defrosting GSF?
You can try. I dont remeber if it will counts if the GFS is frozen. In my method I have to have GFS not frozen. You are on other method.
Okay that didn't work
Downloaded it from apkmirror. It installed OK but now all google apps won't open.
Tried to reinstall old version, same thing.
Looks like I am going to have to downgrade (which I assume means wiping) and then follow your method.
