I just got the Android 11 upgrade. I want to go back to Android 10. The gesture bar is too buggy, ugly and will cause burn-in very fast (it even shows up on the ambient display, wtf are they thinking).
So, can I downgrade to Android 10 ? (I am not rooted, bootloader is locked.)
Yes you can. I have tried IT myself. Download android 10 and Flash with newflasher. I search the link...

Here you can find android 10 and 11

As you can all see there is android 10 out.
Just wanted to warn all of you who like to switch often from android 9 to android 10 and vice versa, that the first firmware for most of the countrys that came out on Sammobile is A750FXXU4.... which means the bootloader is Rev.4 the same like for the last Pie rom
That means you can rollback to last Pie firmware from Q with Odin.
Eventualy samsung will update firmwares with new bootloader, security fixes, and ect...
So it means if you update your firmware with rev.5 bootloader when it comes out, you will newer be able to go back to Pie.
Some of you probably know that, but there are others who dont know that so just to be careful.
i want to ask question .. samsung provided device update that includes Android 10 for Galaxy A7 2018 ,, and with this update Device becomes slow .. games become to lag alot .. it takes a lot of time to switch from rear camera to front camera these problem were not there when the device was android 8 and 9 ..
and i add to add one more thing that i was using the device care widget of the phone itself .. which told 2.6 to 3 .0 gb free RAM in case of Android 8 and 9 .. and since the Android 10 maximum RAM I have free is only 1.6GB even after FACTORY RESETTING and REBOOTING the device .. what should i do ??
I'm will not recommend to upgrade Pie to Android Q because its still buggy.

Install Huawei HiSuite on your pc and connect phone with your usb cable.. hit update and it should update your phone.. I think it may do it incrementally.. so 9.0 then 9.1 and finally 10.0.. You will see...
Look at this thread.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-p20-pro/development/emui-10-hisuite-proxy-t4109035
If you need any informations I can help.
Yeah.. was able to figure it out.. and am currently in 9.1 using the HiSuite via PC. Is Android 10 update worth it? If so, i will do it manually via firmware finder method.

Yes, it's a pure refresh from 9.1 (a crappy port of Android 9.1)
The firmware finder way is not working anymore. You can use the app to get the links. Nothing more.
You need Hisuite Proxy and Hisuite.
See my posts and everything.
After sometime, again i got few more updates,, and i am currently downloading Android 10 again.. So atleast it wil be with latest security patches.. lets see how it goes..
Btw, i saw a GSI image of Android 10 for P20 Pro. any one uses it here?

You can't use it unless you unlock your bootloader, which Huawei stopped doing. They then proceeded to remove the method used to unlock the device in Android 10.
Yeah.. i just found out.. its so sad.. its such a beautiful device,, unlocking would have let me use it for a long time now..
Hi , Is there anyway for downgrade system to RMX2030EX_11_A.20 from android 10 update? I am now running
RMX2030EX_11.C.44 which is latest update of european/turkish version of phone.
I also want to downgrade because the phone is just terrible after the Android 10 upgrade. I also live in Turkey . I bought the phone it was great with the Android 9 but after I got the Android 10 it started glitching the colors are off and some futures are really bad anyone have a way to downgrade to Android 9 ?
I finally managed to downgrade my system. I used in depth test of realme x2 , you can find it realme 5i community in telegram. But I have a problem, my fingerprint and security options working while bootloader is unlocked, but if I try to lock bootloader again this time security options not working both face rec. and fp. How to solve this?
//piunikaweb.com/2020/08/29/realme-5s-realme-5i-android-10-realme-ui-to-pie-rollback-tutorial-released-download-link-inside/
you can try this link for downgrading but the rom is for India. You can give it a try because some people managed to successful downgrade to Android Pie from 10.
Can anyone do it and how is it done?
Android 11 update is downloading and installing as I write this. US model. North American Retail channel.
Just sharing.
My TMO model is also getting notification for the 11 update.... but not taking it. I don't want it to kill Android Auto on my phone.

I'm not sure if it's 11 or 12 (I know 12 does for sure) that breaks AA on phone, but I'm not taking any chances - one of them or both do. This Ace is the only phone I have left with 10.
I'm having a problem with this ota update of my unrooted phone to android 11. It seems stuck at step 3 of 6.
I've seen the update process go as far as 66% of step 3 of 6 several times only for it to restart step 3 again and again. Something does not allow it to complete installing step 3. Internet has been available throughout.
Any suggestions? Is there another way to update?
Researching the web for why the android 11 is not installing on my phone I discovered all the bugs that the moto android 11 update apparently introduces. So I guess I'm lucky the update did not take. I turned off smart updates and will wait to see if and when Moto will get its act together.

It will probably show by now (3 days later). I had the same thing after an unintentional upgrade to 11, but that cleared after only a day when I connected to the Internet again. But apparently the typical wait time is 3 days. (EDIT/ADD) If it still isn't showing, try a reboot.
FYI (all), this phone CAN be downgraded back to Android 10 -- with an UNLOCKED bootloader only. I posted my experience in this Q&A section -- by accident (oops!) so it might get moved at any time to Guides, News and Discussion. Thus I won't post a link here because it might change. If you decide you want to downgrade just look for "Downgrading Motorola One 5G Ace".
I guess I was lucky the ota 'upgrade' to 11 got stuck on step 3.
Android 10 works fine for me except for random reboots. If I find a solution for that all would be well.
Hey guys all good?
I got my hands on an A53 already on Android 13 (U.I 5.1), then I unlocked the bootloader, rooted, magisk working but then I decided to downgrade from 13 to 12 because of a few things
I tried via Odin (13.14.4 and 13.12.7) and both didn't work the first odin it fails the flashing and the second pass but it didn't flash the whole thing just reset the phone
any idea? or I'm now stuck with Android 13?
Cheers
From what I can find, Odin supposedly won't allow a downgrade if the boot loader version is lower.
That's just what people seem to say about Samsung devices and downgrading. I've never tried it and never will. Would immediately use multiple OS versions however if Android actually supported dual booting. Its fantastically messed up that it doesn't.
Not sure if TWRP will. Didn't look that one up. You didn't bring that one up but it might be a way to do it.

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking something about that too. Not that the bootloader is lower but that it was modified (root) i guess
Unfortunately TWRP is not compatible yet with Android 13 UI 5.1 at least accordingly to this topic
So i guess I'm stuck for now

You could flash a GSI image, but I guess that wouldn't be OneUI anymore
Hello you all hope you're having a good day, so no way to downgrade a53 5g from Android 13 to android 12 ??? I found some firmwares for Android 12 but the binary number is 4 and Android 13 is actually on binary number 5 , no way to do the downgrade with Odin?
I read somewhere that is not possible to flash a firmware with different binary number is it true ?? I would like to comeback to android 12 it's better
