MaceksMod 10.0 for LG Vortex (JB 4.1.2) (Unofficial CyanogenMod)
The rom is running on Bob Zhome's 2.6 kernel for the Optimus V - overclocked
Based on Unofficial CyanogenMod 10.0
Camcorder, rotation, google now, and 3g do not work, bluetooth and wifi do.

I keep getting a 'file is invalid' error when I download aokp-4.1.2-RC0.VM660.MaceksMod.0412201.zip. I've tried a few diff Internet connections and PC's, is that one ready to be used?

the aokp hasnt been tested yet, it could be a problem w/the website, androidfilehost is known to have issues where it'll say something like, "file does not exist"

Anyways, I'm asking your permission to use this ROM and intergrate it into the LG Vortex ROM menu. It'd be a great addition.

ok. first load took long time... to be expected though. Tested and few issues, only phone based though. if you could provide a different GApps zip link, i think it would be perfect.

First, I would like to say that I'm not a developer but I have the knowledge,
I've got an old Leagoo Lead 5 (that I'm not using) which is a great chinese phone and more than capable of running the latest Android software (now its running 4.4.2 and company says it cannot be upgraded),
so I've decided to take the project to my hands and I believe its possible, I don't know how many of u have this phone but here is the thing, I will port CM 12.1 from Android One (Sprout) device which has the same processor,
IDK if it will have bugs on it but I'll try to fix them all, I don't actually need testers but feedback and posts to show how many of u have this phone and if its necessary to share it with you will be enough
* what I do need is an actual developer for the future who will help me with the bugs I predict
I will provide this thread with the Downloads and also a guide to show you how to root the device and flash TWRP on it and then flash the ROM
here is the actual steps I'm going to do:
1. make a flashable stock zip ROM using my Leagoo and the Stock ROM itself
2. convert sprout CM 12.1 zip ROM and compare it with the one I made on step 1 using the MTK Porting Guide
3. provide you with the results and the Downloads
stay tuned

** For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.
KNOWN ISSUES
- NFC doesn't work. It will be fixed in the next build.
- FP might not work very well
- OTG doesn't work.
- Some battery drain?
Don't expect any support if you:
- are not running the included kernel
- have installed any mods such as Xposed!
- have modified system files

I do not use gapps and the FP.
No problem so far, everything works exept NFC.
Battery life seems great.
Came from lineage OS, i just did a factory reset.
Glad to get a full black theme, notifications include.

What's Working:
Using this ROM since 3 weeks. This ROM is super stable. Everything is working fine
SOME MOTO GESTURES ALSO PRE-AVAILIBLE LIKE CHOP FLASHLIGHT, SHAKE TO OPEN CAMERA ETC
What's not working:
Nothing. But I didn't tried NFC. Expecting it to be functional too
As like lineageOS for other devices, Internal audio recording is not available for screen recorder.
Magisk is not working. Use superSU instead to root
You cannot flash custom Kernel with this ROM
Bugs:
No noticeable bug. But sometimes Screen freezes and doesn't respond to touch. This glitch restores just by turning screen off and on. But it is very rare to occur.
My own Experience:
This ROM is most optimized ROM for this Device.
Game Play: Although Device has Snapdragon 425 chipset which is not for high-end gaming. But this ROM proved to be revolutionary for gaming
As far as PUBG is concerned, I can easily play it on Ultra HD 30 FPS or Balanced 60 FPS. That too absolute lag-free
After 1.5 hours of Gaming on Ultra HD, my CPU temperature was 39°C. Make sure it doesn't pass 45°C and hopefully won't

Overall Performance: 10 times better than stock ROM. Much better than any ROM for this device
Installation:
1. Unlock bootloader (skip if already unlocked)
2. Install TWRP/other recrecovery. (Skip if already have)
3. Place ROM file in Internal storage, SD Card or USB OTG according to ease and comfort
4. Wipe System, Data, Dalvik, Cache and Vendor
5. Locate your ROM Zip file to install. Swipe to confirm
6. Flash GAPPS as they are not included in ROM package. Get it from Opengapps.com
7. Set it up and get ready to dive into unlimited gaming experience

Best rom!!! But I get Bluetooth problem.

Battery drain isn't so bad considering there is no MIUI Android 11 update. It's a steady slow drop in sleep. Using the device as a browser and social communicator shows a steady drop. Ideally MIUI updates so there is a sleep mode that actually works. Other than that mobile data works, magisk root works, applications install and run, playback works.
Are the WiFi drivers bad on this device? I have an old Mi4c on MoKee Android 9.0 and it's WiFi ability in the same location is far superior.
For me crDroid is a welcome update after feature rich RessurectionRemixOS. LineageOS is bare minimum when trying to get away from stock MIUI. MoKee is a decent show but there is nothing official. The experimentals need time. Are you able to add some stuff from RessurectionRemix?
