Do you recommend oneplus 8t or is better wait? - OnePlus 8T Questions & Answers

Hi there, unfortunately my actual phone stoped working and I came back for my backup phone.
So I'm looking for a new phone and in this moment we can find Oneplus 8t for around $500.
Do you think that is a good deal? Or is better wait for a possible oneplus 9 lite with SD 870?
After watch and read many reviews, I did a list with the principal points. Can you tell me if the list match with your real usage?
here are the good things that I observed:
+Screen
+Battery
+Fast Charger 65w
+Dual speaker
+Oxygen Os
In other side:
- Others chargers doesn't look work well
- No SD 865 Plus
- Regular camera

Buy used OnePlus 8T or wait for OnePlus 9 / 9 Pro?
So backstory, I found a really good deal on Facebook Marketplace for a OnePlus 8T (US Version unlocked from Amazon) for $370. It's in excellent condition, is paid off, and seems to be the unlocked KB2005 model. Since the phone is basically half...

The differences are small enough that unless you're comparing them side by side you'd probably not notice any real difference. Both are going to feel "fast" in normal use.

That's why it's embarrassing for Samsung. Releasing a new "high-end" phone with more powerful hardware than an older phone and still can't beat its performance.
We have reached a point where performance is going to be Marginal...., hence now that companies have to look at other things to make their phone's Stand out.
Yea there will be differences, but not anything the Average user would ever observe.

I kinda wanna replace my back cover already lol the material scratches so easily and my case doesnt arrive till next week
Holy adhesive batman. Hey winankid, you could think about doing a vinyl wrap on the back of the device to protect it.
yeah but the only place I've checked was D-brand and amazon
anyways, the case from amazon arrived. its a clear case so the u can still see the copper vents and RGB lol

Best rom/kernel for performance?

Hey, there, I know there isn't a best rom necessarily or kernel as people have different requirements but was wondering what people seem to like as I will be buying this phone soon. I had one recommendation or CrDroid and Smurf kernel. I know Cr has always been good but smurf kernel while I'm sure runs well seems really inefficient as it boosts everything even GPU touch. So was just wondering what you guys would recommend, maybe Holy angels work? Blu, Ex etc? Thanks,
Adam
I'd recommend Oxygen OS with stock kernel

Thanks for the feedback, I'm sure OOS is good but I'm looking more for AOSP ROMs because of features and so on. I will definitely check out stock for a little though to try it out
Stock is best in regards to rom
Kernels you'd have to try yourself

OnePlus 7 Is Dead?

Seriously, Is this phone dead? there's no roms and no Dev Support for this device. Since the launch there's no buzz around this phone and now the release of OnePlus 7T seems to be the final nail in the coffin. Honestly, this phone is amazing and IMO it deserves better Dev Support.
To all the OnePlus 7 Owners, what's your opinion on all this? Are you going to stick with OnePlus 7 or are you going to exchange it for 7t ?
It is not dead
