LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

FAQ:
1. Can I dirty flash?
A: If you're coming from a different previous firmware, no. Subsequent builds I post after this can be dirty flashed.
2. Root?
A: Flash Magisk.
3. VoLTE sarr?
A: No. Hardware doesn't support it.
4. Can I disable Android GO?
A: Partially, yes. (You can get some animations back, but not all of them.). Just change the properties as shown in disablego.txt (DON'T REMOVE THEM, just find them and change them). This step is completely optional and not recomended.
5. Why can't I see recent thumbnails?
A: They've been disabled in favour of performance.
6. Updates pliss sarr?
A: I'll be updating this every month as long as I have the device and as long as nothing breaks for good. I'm not very well versed when it comes to device trees, so no Lineage 18+. Please don't ask for ETAs.
7. Is the ROM suited for daily usage ?
A : Yes, Looks like all basic daily usage stuff is functional.
8. Double Tap to Wake broken?
A: No, it's disabled since it doesn't work on third party screens, increases battery use and causes false wake ups.

Try Format Data option in TWRP->Wipe. Then reboot recovery, wipe all partitions(System, data, cache) and try flashing again.

I can't give you the exact numbers, but Lineage is the smoothest among all ROMs due to it being lightweight.

Most unofficial Lineage builds are signed with public keys, this is not a problem and does not pose any threat whatsoever. However, its fixed in the latest build. All newer builds will be signed.

Nice. But this is based on Android GO, am I right? So it must be more smoother. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Nope. Extra stuff link is there only because I personally use that and maybe someone else will find it useful. Not at all necessary. They're APK files and zips. Install them as you normally would. Read FAQ.
this os is like okay type of rom nothing special or anything if you wanna see your old lenovo phone got an "andorid 10 tag" then you can put this rom just to fill your fictional satisfaction, but otherwise stay whatever your current os is, it has way less options than what i had it before in my "andoid 9 dotos 3.0" and i am going back to my old os again!
i am using "android 9 dotos 3.0" for almost 1 and half years is very good and stable and got so many option and very userfriendly and beautiful looking!

I see. I've been or RR 5.8.5 Nougat version and I've managed to remove and replace apps like the launcher (using KISS launcher as default). I have also decreased the RAM usage with about 300-400 MB free RAM and it's been running smoothly for the past 2 or 3 years. Great to see there are some people using this phone despite being old.

About
MoKee OpenSource is based on the Google AOSP. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.
A small group of people from around the world who are interested in Android launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better. Like most contributors of open source projects (Omni, CyanogenMod, Slim AOSPA etc), we are doing all these in our free time as our passion…
Since this project is open source, anyone interested can participate in the development (maintain new devices, contribute code etc). Newcomers are always welcomed!
Read here for developer application: http://www.mfunz.com/en/developer-application, you can host your unofficial MoKee builds on our server!
Features: (I will mention only that which does not take into CyanogenMod)
Listview animation
Interpolation anmação listview
Update over the air can download the download website only incremental, it helps lower faster update and upgrade more easily:
Some icons and own layouts
Manager for Google services, so no need to use a large gapps, you can only download necessary at MokeeCenter
Ringtones, Alarms, Notification, UI sounds are all different CyanogenMod, thus bringing a beautiful charm to rom
bootianimation own
information integrated into MokeeCenter
Settings to add speed data network
Settings for navigation bar
Settings for Statusbar
Intelligent control settings to configure the newer apps and others.

What is the difference?
RELEASE: Tested after integrating new features, more stable than NIGHTLY. (Odexed builds)
NIGHTLY: Built daily with newest code and experimental features, might contain undiscovered bugs. (Deodexded builds)
HISTORY: Final odexded builds once a newer Android version is out and being built.
EXPERIMENTAL: Released when a new device is added or when a new feature is added for public beta testing and feedback. (Deodexded builds)
UNOFFICIAL: Maintained separately by individual developers, usually involves modification of shared code which cannot be merged (affects other devices), therefore maintained by the developer himself.
Note: We always test the shared code for bugs, however sometimes we may not be able to detect device specific bugs. If you have such issues, it will be better to report to the device maintainer.
Changelog:
Here
Gapps recommended
http://opengapps.org/
Installation mode :
To install the clean rom:
Download the rom
enters recovery
make all wipes (all)
choose zip from rom and install
you can use a gapps any of its taste since it is for android 7.1.x
or you can go MokeeCenter after starting rom, there you can download the small gapps integrated into the system and have a lighter and clean rom.
To install upgrade:
Method 1:
just download the complete package via OTA
enter the recovery
only to wipe cache and dalvik (optional, I do not)
install the complete package downloaded via OTA
Method 2:
Download the complete package over the air and go on to install update
let install automatically for you
Method 3:
Download only incremental updates
for that you need to donate 30 CNY for the team to release the feature on the device directly
But you can do this update without donation
just go on the site and click below build itself where it is written (upgrade: OTA to MK ...)
there will be the incremental free for you, this will save on your data package or in your spare time.
Big Thanks @martincz for development

Great to see mokee come on 7.1 for this phone!!
Will try out this ROM on my falcon.
Thank you!
Definitely I will try it, I'm a huge fan of Mokee ROM. Thx for sharing!!!!
I see a lot lot of development and dedicated hard worker devs working on falcon, never saw such development on many popular/high end/ flagship phone.
seems, our falcon is a super set and I don't wanna switch to another phone.
take love from falcon.
Rom is smooth and awesome but, there are some bugs or feature missing.
1. battery icons in status bar not changing for landscape or circle.
2. need a setting to permanently place the network meter in status bar if you can.
3. recents screen doesn't show the amount of ram used.
4. rom uses more ram than marshmallow(just my observation) even without installing any apps.
5. a little lag sometimes.
6. a way to change the theme??

For the sake of development, I appreciate your report ... But ram is something that you can not question yet since more features can be used.
On topics will have to wait a little longer for cyanogenmod sources.
The same in the battery icons issue.

How to download mokee gapps from mokee centre?
Good ROM
Very Good ROM, but a swap of 255 MB is no longer enough for Falcon running Android 7, and even with android 6 you could notice the lack of memory to run applications like Facebook etc. I would like them to increase the size of the Swap.
Hi guys, I can't install Mokee on my xt1032. I get error 6. I don't know why. I have twrp 3.2.1-0 how can I fix it?

First time installing crDroid to your X01BD, or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
5) Flash gapps
6) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

Hi @legacy07
First of all, thanks for maintaining official crDroid for this phone. As I also mentioned already on your crDroid Pie thread earlier, I really like this ROM. It is based on LineageOS with added customizations which makes it quite a good combo.
However, most of the Custom ROMs here except for the Official LineageOS and Official ArrowOS, use a Kernel which is heavily deviated from the Linux-Stable one. For example, messing with Refresh Rate of screen or unnecessary overclocks (which I don't think actually work). I am not really a fan of such untested, unnecessary additions.
You seem to be using a relatively stable Kernel which seems to be in-line with Linux-Stable (in your Pie Builds). So, I wanted to know which Kernel are you using for this one? The source isn't mentioned here (at the time of writing this). Further, a source with commit history will be really appreciated.
There is one request of mine. Can you put out a standalone LineageOS or ArrowOS Kernel compiled for your crDroid? It would be helpful for guys like me if you don't want to ship that Kernel by default in your builds.
Once again, thanks for maintain such an Amazing ROM for our device.

Well, I haven't decided whether to continue with the kernel "katnis" which was used in pie builds. I made it just because I found some features I used seem missing in the Arrow kernel. In this initial build, i have used the kernel of lineageos. The future depends on the public opinion of this build, afterwards the source will be updated accordingly.
Will there be support for the "smart bar" of navigation buttons, as in Pie?

Crdroid always comes with a safehouse kernel which never supports smart/fast charging or such bleeding edge features. If you need the feature, change the kernel under your own risk

And Navigation bar visibility toggle state won't remain after reboot.

I love crDroid but I can't figure out why 6.0 won't boot up if I remove system apps, even though Music, Mail and Browser which I could remove with no problem in 5.9.

Frequently Asked Questions!
Q : I get error 255/7 while flashing from recovery
A : Flash using correct TWRP.
Q : How do i flash rom?
A : No rocket science Just wipe /system /cache /dalvik's cache & internal storage from twrp, Then simply flash the rom package and reboot.
Q : Can I dirty flash the next build?
A : If you are upgrading from previous builds of this rom to the current builds then O'course you can dirty flash by just flashing the new rom package , gapps package and wiping both the cache partition however i advice you to refrain from doing dirty flash. Follow the instructions if posted after a build drop and flash the package accordingly if instructions explicitly mention about clean flashing.
Q : Where do i get compatible gapps/ I can't signIn into google play?
A : Get your Gapps from OpenGapps.org, only use Pico or nano! If you want my support.
Q : Is root access included in this Rom?
A : No it is not. Some testers have had success with Magisk though.
Q : Can I flash ABC mod? Does the ROM support it?
A : Yeah sure, but I will not support you. And no, the ROM probably does not support it.
Q : Android go, when?
A : Decided to disable it for now for good
Q : Livedisplay broken/not working ?
A : Don't touch that section, The support was removed from the kernel because Lenovo's mdss don't go quite well with live display implementation and won't be supported.
Q : Is VOLTE supported ?
A : No.
Q : Is the ROM suited for daily usage ?
A : Yes, Looks like all basic daily usage stuff is functional.
Q : WHEN UPDATE?? GIB UPDATE PL0X.
A : I only post updates when there's a decent list of changes. I'm a college student and there's only so much I can do. Please do not spam my PM regarding this.
I will not respond to any messages demanding ETAs
Thanks Dev, aka har**** bhai
No bugs found at far. Good rom as pie. A6000 rocks. ❤
Thanks to the dev for bringing Android 10 to A6000
Clean installed the ROM a couple of hours ago. Everything seems to be stable and pretty. Love it. The phone was not laggy or slow even after the very first boot. Excited about exploring all the features of Android 10.
Two issues that I have noticed so far -
1. The phone is not latching on to the network. Tried both SIMs and both Automatic and Manual setting. It latches on - full five bars, then drops it, then latches on, then drops it. So on.
2. The 'Live Display' setting crashes the settings app - the settings within the 'Live Display' section cannot be changed apparently?
Thanks for any help in resolving the above two.
Cheers,
S

Network depends upon area to area, If problem is genuine please drop "adb shell logcat -b radio logcat.txt" here so that I can look to it.
LiveDisplay was removed from A6000's builds since Los-15.1's last build because lenovo's changes to mdss don't seem to go well with the kernel implementation of livedisplay, So the feature had to be dropped and since there's no live display driver it crashes when one tries to poke it from settings, Thanks for reminding me, I'll add it to faq
I'm facing audio cracking problem.. What should I do now? I tried previous ROMs also like lineageos 16 , aospex all besed on android 9

Audio works perfectly fine in los-17.1 & the prior mentioned pie roms, If you are facing such issues it could prolly be cause of damaged hardware or because you might have overlooked flashing hex firmware patch and if it persists even after that then it can't be helped. Make sure you are flashing it on mentioned variants only and follow the instructions carefully, Drop the logs so that we can see them if its genuine and is not caused by any third party apps or by flashing mods.

Thanks for the prompt response. I have verified with multiple SIMs and multiple locations - it will not latch on to any network.
I ran the command you mentioned but the command appears to run indefinitely and no .txt file is output. I exported the CMD log anyway and is attached. I only let the command run for a few seconds as the log file was quickly exceeding the forum limit of 512KB for txt files.
Help, please?
Thanks, dev.

Once again, many thanks for the prompt response. Is this still the most recent version of the Hex Firmware Patch? https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=745425885120747542
And should I perform a clean install once again? Or simply flash the zip with what I have now?
Thanks,
S
So far so good everything works fine, performance is smooth and battery backup is also good.
Thanks for this awesome rom Dev.....
Great work bro... Downloaded wil install it tomorrow..
Launched on Kitkat, runs on Android 10? secondary smartphone
Thanks so much
I thought we would stop at Android Pie
but here we are going to a new era with our superhero @dev_harsh1998
I started researching on a6000's Custom Roms for my friend's phone and I'm amazed by this community. I wish i had an a6000.?
Can we use banking apps without any security issue?
Amazing work dev_harsh1998, thank you so much!
I am running on your 16.0 version now and I am going to upgrade to this 17.1.
Going to download nano gapps and want to ask you which version to install 32 or 64 bit?
Hex and twrp not required to upgrade right? (already did that for 16.0)
:good: thanks brother for this rom ?

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Information:
This is an OSS non-dimlayer vendor built rom.
Based on the latest Android Security Patch
Latest LineageOS changes according to the ROM date release
NFC icon on status bar (when enabled)
Burn-in icon protection
Blur toggle moved to Display section
Stability and performance improvements
Safetynet passes out of box
You can flash custom kernels but no support will be provided
Recovery and Widevine L1 persists if patched via MIUI.
Known issues:
None. You found one? Please report it here by providing a description with a log or a video if necessary.
Installation Instructions :
Assuming you have an unlocked bootloader, a recovery installed and the ROM zip:
Go to recovery (Official TWRP is recommended)
Wipe Data/Cache/System/Vendor
It is recommended to flash latest Android 11 firmware (not vendor) according to your region
Flash the ROM
Flash your favourite gapps (optional step)
Flash DFE (optional step if you are not encrypted)
Reboot
NOTE: I always recommend following these steps. Also there's no need to flash any kind of MIUI Vendor.

Need to change data to f2fs!? And out of curiosity, which kernel is used?
Wow, thanks, a must try. Are u going to keep maintenance? Is call recording and miracast working?
Edit: miracast works, call recording not

It should support both ext4 and f2fs.
Could be his own kernel
Is it Vanilla build ? I would like to install Vanilla build.
I never is OSS vendor built. If future upgrade from this ROM, can I dirty flash ? I use encryption.
Thanks
Hi Englezos - great effort, I'm using this now. One issue - I can't answer normal phone calls. When someone calls the phone rings, but there is nothing showing that allows it to be answered?
Clean install following your instructions.
Any suggestions?

Yes. This was the problem. The default app is becomes not set in the clean install + Nik gapps core. Thanks.
How is this different from the other "unofficial" lineageos 18.1 Rom?

I don't like these kind of questions to be honest. But for the record I've been releasing my personal builds on my github profile since Jun 7, 2020. I will check what I can do for call recording even though I don't use it.

Feature wise it's the same goold old LineageOS ROM. I don't like bloat I enjoy simplicity and stability. Code wise its completely different since its OSS. Try and let us know.

I understand from other ROM change to your ROM. I need clean flash. I mean when next update for your rom. I also need clean flash to update is better. Right ?
Thanks for the answers.
Does this rom have adaptive battery charging to restrict maximum charging percentage?

Same issue here.
Could it be because I have data and system as F2FS?
I tried in F2FS and ext4 and it's the same

You might need to format data to boot into OS. IF you are not particular about encryption then flash dfe and it will boot.

Reporting Bugs
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

Yes, it's working. So far so good, I can't provide screenshots cause I already switched ROMS although I'd still recommend it since it's almost bugless and it has a good performance. It's just, lineage is not my thing. I'm currently using DotOS 5.2 on my Redmi 9C.

What do you mean? If you're referring to the installation, no it won't. Custom Recoveries are essential to Custom ROMs, therefore it requires a Custom Recovery (unless it's a GSI).

How is the dot os ROM? I see there are many bugs posted no hotspot will be an issue for me but can probably do without it.
But as a daily user is it worth it???

So far so good I have faced no issues in daily use yet. It comes with android 12 like ui system that is really cool And the safety net is also working fine. the only bugs I have noticed so far are. No hotspot, no double tap to wake as you already know. And also the face id is not working other Than that it's pretty good especially the interface.so I will say it is definitely worth checking out.
Awesome I'll definitely give it a try and haven't expierenced android 12 yet so that's a sure plus and knowing dot OS its probably hella smooth
Maybe u can try a 3rd party app for hotspot? U never know
