Oneplus 8t aliexpress - OnePlus 8T Questions & Answers

Hi, yesterday I bought op8t aquamarine 12/256 (290€) from this store ***
Does, anyone else bought it from this store?
If yes please send me screenshot of your shipping and other any update.
Thanks a lot

You know why the other thread got closed right? Anyways, I'm guessing you maybe the first, since it says that store opened yesterday. Oddly enough, also now has no items for sale, and no feedback, despite having "291 followers".
I've never had a problem getting money back from AliExpress though. I'm guessing this is likely going to be a situation where you get a fake tracking number that never goes anywhere, and you have to file a dispute. Hopefully I'm wrong though. Just nothing about that store seems right to me upon initial inspection.

I tried the feature today but couldn't get it working exactly the way I want it to.
Basically I want a separate notification system for thread subscription and post quote / user mention; and I just want an email to be sent when I am mentioned or my post got quoted (not necessarily in the same thread I'm subscribed to), NOT everytime a post got posted in a thread I subscribed to (I just keep it to the Alert system).
What I got working was I got emails BOTH when a new post is posted in the thread I subscribed or my post got quoted in the thread I subscribed.

I tried to find a thread to which neither was subscribed.
Say something if you get an alert. Say something else if you get an e-mail.

I got alert from here, no e-mail. As expected.
What I don't understand is e-mail about someone posting in the Welcome to XDA 2021 thread. I wasn't mentioned or quoted. I did not get an alert about that post. But I got an e-mail.
The latest question is whether @osm0sis will get an alert about this post.

Success! I guess I just had to toggle the preference again.. Still kinda concerning that this was necessary of course!

Regarding the closed Opera 8.65 thread...

I did not intend to break your rules or anything, however I would like to point out a few things.
1. I recently purchased a license for the program, dropped and broke my phone, replaced it with the same model and now it wont accept my registration number.
2. It was within these forums that I got the idea for an image/extracted OEM .cab in the first place. I believe it was from a post where a fella included a link to his site (wich was supposed to contain the file) with no further backlash or repercussion.
So anyway, my point... Of course I will refrain from making requests of that nature again but now I ask you. Do you honestly expect me to pay for the same program twice in the same week, because the good folks at Opera will not help me out?

just send a mail to the Opera Mobile folks; they'll surely give you another regnum for free
I actually ended up calling. I forgot to mention that. When I said they wont help me out, I was talking about the fact that about three professional sounding emails to Opera went unanswered last week. That is why I posted the request here in the first place. After calling my problem was solved. I'm posting this from my legal registered version of 8.65 as we speak.

[Q] what happened to the sims3, monopoly and more link??

Topic says it all...
Admin decision?
Virussed or just illegal?
I wanted to ask same question - thread disappeared overnight. I made comment about strange Airplay error in one of the games, hoping for an answer and next morning it was gone…
One would think that, were it infected with any malware, the Mods would leave the thread in place with a warning and close it...
Let's hope they do that, because it works like a charm for me
I'm afraid they won't do that. Why? - it's simple - Dubai's phone's distributor suddenly realised, there are more downloads then phones were sold. Probably that's why main download link shared on xda, doesn't already work (made a copy ). NFS shift is the best quality game I had ever seen on WinMo OS. So, probably EA forced them to cut promotion or change form of distribution.
I think the mods deleted the thread, because the link doesn't provide *free* programs anymore.
Since the offer provided through that link/company was valid till Friday, any links to it now (and later) would be referring to warez...
And we all know this forum's opinion about warez
So they probably closed the forum to avoid any future problems/claims
Grtz,
Degake
edit: As Gandalf67 said: I also think that the company would have thought "have we sold THAT much HD2s???" And that they probably use another link to access the downloads...
If need i had full all 3games can upload to rapid or other sites for downloading all games working fine for me.
In case of; my friend have send me his previous folder of he games.
Here you have the linkM0d Edit- Link removed, warez
I'm curious as to when the mods will come to action in this thread
I think they'll see this new links to rapidshare/mega-upload etc. warez, since the software isn't available for free anymore...
Grtz,

I am bit struggling to install nfs on my HD2. It always shows a message "memory running low". I copied it on my sd card but dont know how to run it. I have 2GB card. Any suggestions
Chaps,
Just been made aware of this thread. The others were removed because they essentially were warez.
Going onto the original site and obtaining the software direct is fine, provided you qualify for the download via their checks/procedures. Posting the links elsewhere for free access when these games are in fact not free is warez. Hope this quickly explains what's going on.
Please do not post any direct links to the software not direct links to the company as that constitutes advertising for a 3rd party which is against the rules.
Thanks
WB
Thanks
Thanks wacky.banana fore the clarification.
And My apologize to Moderators and users, fore my fold/action!
so is the stuff illegal to have i mean how they gonna know cuz torrents are downloaded all the time and not many people get caught

It's illegal to obtain this download, unless you have an HD2 that was purchased in that specific region (Dubai, AE).
It's true that not many people who download pirated stuff or warez get caught, but XDA has always been under close investigation by a lot of parties (e.g. Microsoft).
So XDA can't afford to be affiliated with warez in any way.... or they could get some troubles with the law

Removing Google Now results

As most of you know, IB Times and Christian Post are the absolute worst sources for Android news. They post completely fictitious rumors without any sources and without mentioning that the past 1010928 rumors they posted were wrong. I made the mistake of clicking on a few of these stories, so for a few months, I've gotten nearly daily notifications in Google Now about Nexus articles posted on these websites. I want to remove these websites from my Google Now completely.
I did some research on how to do this, and Google said to click the menu button on the individual notification inside of Google Now and I can request that no more results from that website be displayed. However, that's not a choice. Instead, I have the option of whether or not to continue to receive articles relevant to the Nexus devices. I do want to receive articles about Nexus devices, just not from these sources.
Can anyone tell me how to remove notifications from specific websites without removing notifications for the subject of the articles? Thanks in advance. Also, I wasn't sure if this went in Q&A or Apps & Themes, so I made a judgment call and went with the Q&A forum. Apologies if it should have gone elsewhere.
Try deleting the offending pages from your Google browsing history. You may have to wait a few days after that for the cards to stop appearing.

I'll try that and see if it works. I thought of it as a possible solution, but figured I'd see if there was an easier way first. Thanks.
Edit: Ok, so I tried that, but it can't be the solution. Apparently I had already done this for both Christian Post and IB Times, and the only history results I had were three IB Times results from the past month where I clicked the link based on the headline without looking at the source first. All of the earlier IB Times visits and all of the Christian Post visits were gone. However, I received a Christian Post notification as recently as two days ago.

I've never been to those sites before GN, and they keep showing up.
I agree with what you are saying... garbage articles that shouldn't show up in my GN. Subscribing!
I would like an answer to this too!
I think I'll just email CP and IB and tell them to stop posting crap. :/

I'm curious too. I keep getting GN notifications for international soccer scores and it says below them that I searched for this team. Trust me, I have not. I don't search for any sports or teams. I went as far as reporting it to Google but haven't gotten a response. I've checked my search history and also deleted it. But they still appear at random.

I have actually emailed the authors/editors of articles on both sites pointing out all of the incorrect information and asking about sources. I have never gotten a response.
Anyone have any ideas?
Bump. This is the most annoying part of google now.

Agreed. I like the automatic nature of GN, but I would love more control over what pops up. Regarding those two websites, I'm sure they're just click bait. They always pop up whenever you search any rumors, so they get a ton of clicks for people to view ads. I doubt they care what they post, as long as people get them ad money.
dont you get that three buttons menu option at the right top corner of the card? i think you can remove the updates from there. atleast it shows me that option from some other sites that i visit on google.
This might be a stupid question and so I apologize in advance, but you do have the latest version of google now right?

Hopefully we get an answer for this I want my android and tech news but it's from a bunch of BS websites
I too hate that crappy news feed that Google now gives. There should be a voting system or report spam/irrelevant option in Google now so that these dumb sites don't keep posting in our 'interested' feed

Yeah. There is no option to remove specific sites any more. We can remove news about a topic, but that doesn't help as I want news about android, just not from these horrible sites.
Alright. Hopefully someone can come up with something.

I guess then Google must be pulling them from a list of most visited or best ranked news item. It just happens to be from these sites. I guess nothing much can be done on the user part

Xda mods

I've never done anything like this. But I can't comment on the post, so my apologies for this off place post.
The link on your post for this now outdated phone points to Amazon, when it says it points to xda. If this wasn't an accident, should the post be worded different? Pretty sure Amazon doesn't have roms...

This https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/huawei-mate-se link takes me to Huawei Mate SE thread, which link are you referring to as being taken to amazon instead.
I believe it was the link I posted that was redirecting to Amazon's product page for the Huawei mate se. But it seems to be working now.. I'll dive deeper tomorrow morning (I'm in bed checking my email) to see if there's a chance I had a different link in the clipboard. Or maybe I copied text that had a different link attached to it and I didn't notice when I posted this. I think I remember what I was searching for with this phone so I'll try to get back to you after testing more tomorrow.
Thank you for responding.
