Hello everyone,
Can anyone tell me if it's possible to flash a Custom Rom, based on Android 11, without having to clear all data?
Thanks for the help.

Possible when dirty flashing newer rom over same rom but older version
Flash? But of course, why not? You can flash whatever your recovery and/or custom ROM installation script allow on your device...
But you should really ask this - will my phone boot after I do that?
You should also ask yourself: why am I posting this here and not in Questions and Answers?

So I had to downgrade from 5.0.2 in order to install KK+Root+SU But is it possible to install ROMs if the boot loader is locked? God, this sounds like a very silly question. If anybody could shed some light on my lack of knowledge I'd be very grateful.

With a locked boot you cannot install anything that relies on a custom kernel. So no CM, AOSP, BP, DU AOKP etc....
Basically, you can only install stock (i.e sony xperia stock) based ROMs

Hi all,
I'm a bit of a newbie so excuse me if my question is basic. I'd like to know if you can flash cm14.1 over cm13. 1 without doing a wipe first, if both roms are the official ones from the same developer and not different sources.
Many thanks

When flashing a different android version you always need to do a full wipe, even on the same rom.

Thank you
But my main concern is custom ROM. Without custom ROM twrp is no help. Can you help me with that? Or should I flash any random custom ROM with this configuration.

You're right: If you can't find a suitable Custom ROM then creating a Custom Recovery like TWRP actually is useless.

OKAY BUT IF YOU NOT AVAILABLE FOR YOUR DEVICES THAN HOW CAN FLASH ?
SORRY BRO YOUR DEVICES CUSTOM ROM NOT AVAILABLE
Hi all,
Is it possible to install a STOCK kernel with the custom ROM? Reason is that all the custom ROMS for the A8 are on permissive mode and don't support enforcing.
If it's possible does anyone know or can point me to a howto? I tried fetching it from the latest samsung ROM but with no luck. Or is there a link for a dedicated stock rom for the a530f?
Any help would be highly appreciate; it's my last resort to get this phone back to duty again. I know, with permissive kernels, the phone runs like a charm with Android 11 and 12 ROMs. It's a pity to let it go due to the lack of security support in the kernels.
Kind regards,
Daan
hmmmm

Any idea where to get a stock kernel from or howto take it from the latest available stock ROM or if there's somewhere a howto to be found? Till now my search efforts for this subject are quite fruitless...
