Question about possible screen issue - LG Velvet Questions & Answers

Guys, I have a LG Velvet and I think I might have a screen issue. At least I haven't noticed it before so I hope any of you guys with a Velvet can help me figure it out.
I know Velvet has a really bright screen, way more than my previous G8x.
But is it me or blacks aren't that black? I think I get more grey or a slight black than a real dark images.
I know Velvet has a translucent notification bar too, but have anyone noticed getting a greyish/greenish kind of stain when having a black content behind the notification bar?
It's something that really bothers me.
It happens when I pull the notification bar while watching a movie, or while in Settings and even with a dark black wallpaper.
I don't know anyone here in my country that has a Velvet, so I thought about asking here.
I might record the screen so I can show it better.
Thanks in advance!

Weird gradient problem in Me301t after ASUS replaced screen

I Have a weird problem that I have not been able to solve by myself or with ASUS "help". After having my screen replaced due to dead pixels by ASUS (not an easy feat!) I now have what I can call non existent gradients on my menus and other apps that have that nice gradient colour (like android menus have in settings and stuff), where it used to go subtly from a darker grey to a lighter grey in a seamless way now I have blocks of different grey colours...not seamless and nice. It happens not only in the menus but also in other apps, like the main blue screen of the facebook app for example. Sent back the pad and ASUS insists it is good and all normal! I have given up on them and don`t want to have sent again to the Czech Republic for repairs that don`t happen. It happens with all roms and other than that screen is great. Nice vibrant colours in video and games...but that gradient colour problem is tearing me apart. Only thing I have managed to do is replace the menus gradient with solid black with the help of xframework tools. Anyone else seen this? Should I open up the pad and see if it is a connector problem? (unlikely since all else is good), did ASUS use a wrong screen? Calibration? It is so weird.... Plus now I have to keep my brightness at maximum since the light sensor although working makes it too dim in auto mode. Is it related? Please help...can`t find help anywhere else.

Major Screen Problems

Hey guys I've noticed a screen problem with my Samsung Galaxy S6. On my phone I can only detect it when using a black background/any image that is black. So I was swiping through my homescreen, and noticed a a color shift that would cover the sides of the icons. As I swiped back and forth through the different screens. I figured it was maybe the launcher I was using(I'm using nova launcher prime beta). So I switched back to the regular Samsung launcher and experienced the same problem. It's not a big deal but I think I'm going to get it replaced.

Actually I think I have the same issue. It particularly shows when scrolling in apps with dark (black) elements which border to another dark - but not black - (e.g grey) element.
For example in the 'relay for reddit' app with the night OLED skin enabled. The usual list background is black, while already visited links have a greyish background. if you scroll through the list, you notice that color shifting. I just did a quick video to demonstrate the issue. It is very difficult to see there though .

Is that a singular issue which would be solved by a replacement or is it a general problem? As this issue only is visible when black pixels become lit I assume it is a general AMOLED issue :-/

[SnapChat] Bottom Black Bar issue

Hey guys, i'm on this forum looking for a fix to the issue of the black bar at the bottom of Snapchat but it appears that nobody has the answer so I post here to launch again the subject and to try to find somebody who could fix it ?
If you don't know the issue, actually there's a black bar appearing at the bottom of Snapchat when I want to take a picture and it crops the picture so there's a bad quality ... If people can help I would be really happy
Thanks guys !
Go into Expanded desktop in Display settings and set the nav bar to hide in snapchat.

Weird darker bar and navigation buttons appearing over other apps

Recently I've noticed that a dark low opacity stripe has appeared on my phone, from the top to about a quarter of the top of the phone, it is constantly there, although it is a lot easier to see on darker backgrounds, and alongside it there are transparent navigation buttons on the same spot they normally are. I've already done the usual reboot, changed launchers and all that, anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it? Can't really post a picture of it since screenshotting doesn't actually show the dark areas
