Stuck on Flyme Logo
You see the flyme logo, and the logo spins couple every couple of sec and waited for over 30 min and still does not boot.
Get in recovery mode, two ways choose one.
Method one (easy)
1. Turn off Phone (Force by holding power button)
2. Turn on Phone with power + volume
If it does not work go to Sp Flash Tool or Method two
Yes, my devices is now in recovery mode, continue the steps, skip Method two
Method two (need computer and harder)
1. Turn on the Phone where the logo spins
2. install adb on computer (link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979)
3. Plug phone into computer and get drivers for adb
4. Type 'adb devices' in cmd
5. If you get a device in the list continue by Typing 'adb reboot recovery'
'adb devices' not displaying devices (try method one or install driver)
'adb reboot recovery' reboots phone but not to recovery, this confirms that the recovery partition is damaged follow the steps in Sp Flash Tool
Yes, my devices is now in recovery mode, continue the stepsDownload Firmware for your device (latest)
M3 Link https://downloads.meizufans.eu/?dir=m3/firmware/stable
M3s Link https://downloads.meizufans.eu/?dir=m3s/firmware/stable
Plug Phone (in recovery mode) to computer. Copy the downloaded file 'update.zip' into the removable device named 'recovery' (do not unzip)
Tick the top option (system upgrade) and click 'start'
Wait be patient.:fingers-crossed:

Any display? or just black?
What rom did you install? If official you might be able to get a replacement through warranty.
Try SP Flash Tools, instruction in the first post. Chances are low but test if it detects after pressing download.

i used DA_PL.BIN and got the same error, maybe bootloader is locked thats why this error?
The error shows when your device started before the software can flash anything. SP flash tools works with locked bootloader, maybe your preloader is 100% dead

Do I have any hope to recover phone?
After following these steps, one by one, no matter if all went OK, my phone (m3s) won’t boot and it seems it is completely dead now. It can’t turn on. Power button looks unresponsive. What should I do? Is there any help?
many thanks for this guide @bluecub1st . The problem I have with my M3s is that it boots perfectly fine and works well, i just cannot enter recovery by using Volume + and power, and flashing a new firmware from inside Flyme OS just reboots the phone. I can enter fastboot though no problem, but i tried to do the SP Flash tool method listed and I just get this error message:
ERROR : S_TIMEOUT (0x412)
Any ideas how to fix this and get my recovery back? Really need some help so i can flash flyme 6...
i got error from sp_flashtool
ERROR : STATUS_SEC_DL_FORBIDDEN (0X0020004)
help me please sir

phone dead... thnks
Hello,
as the title says... I bricked my phone. In the past, I successfully installed LineageOS on my old Galaxy S3. I got a used Huawei P9 Lite recently and wanted to install a custom ROM. Here's what happened:
1. Unlocked the phone
2. Accessed Fastboot mode
3. Installed TWRP* via fastboot flash recovery file.img
4. This didn't work and I read on the web, I could try to flash revocery2 with fastboot flash recovery2 file.img
5. This didn't help either, so I decided to cancel my plan and use the manufactorer's system since the system still booted (of course, I didn't install any custom OS).
6. The phone told me on each startup it's unlocked. I didn't need the unlock anymore, so I accessed the Fastboot mode again.
7. I re-locked the system by using fastboot oem relock password.
8. The phone asked me to do confirm this action and do a factory reset
9. After this, I'm stuck at the Huawei logo and can't access Fastboot mode anymore!
When I shut down the phone, it immediately restarts itself. No chance to get into Fastboot mode again, which I did through pressing Vol- and plugging in an USB cable.
*I tried several versions, 3.0.1 and 3.2.1 since no version worked
This may be a beginner's fault, my last phone was already unlocked and I had not a single problem back then. But this time... I hope you can help me.
What would happen if I let drain the battery down to 0% - the phone wouldn't restart of course. If I press Vol- and plug it in, would I come back to Fastboot mode or would it stay in this loop?
Any help is appreciated!
Hi everyone,
I'm quite new to unlocking and rooted phone, but I've read many many post on this forum but nothing worked....
Here what's happening;
Few days ago I wanted to Recover from TWRP a backup that I've made. I launch the recovery from TWRP (important details, it was a backup that I made from slot B in twrp....) in slot A.
So yes I indeed restore a slot B recovery into the slot A in TWRP.....
And I tried to reboot after that..... and the problems begins !!
I just have a blackscreen with a blue light, nothing happened..... Same thing If i try to boot into recovery mode.....
Since I tried many many things but nothing worked...... I can't boot into TWRP from fastboot.
When I'm trying that:
Code:
fastboot boot twrp-3.2.2-0-enchilada.img
The phone just reboot and got stucked on the screen with one plus logo and the text "fastboot mode" below the logo.....
I read all these post below and everything I tried (erase all data, change the active slot on fastboot mode......)didn't work:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6/help/oneplus-6-os-twrp-stuck-fastboot-screen-t3870989
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6/help/stuck-fastboot-rooted-help-please-t3851802
This one I didn't really understand exactly what needed to be done but I guess I need to boot into a custom recovery as well:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6/how-to/guide-mega-unbrick-guide-hard-bricked-t3796051
Even tried that but it didn't unbrick the phone:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6/how-to/rom-stock-fastboot-roms-oneplus-6-t3796665
I tried to boot into another recovery, but same thing not working/booting;
Code:
fastboot boot blu_spark_r65-oos-pie_op6_9a5f932e4.zip
So I'm desesperate and really really need help !!:crying::crying:
Does anyone can help me step by step or has a solution please?
I can access to fastboot mode that is the only think I can do and the bootloader is unlocked.
Go and see there :
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6/how-to/tool-msmdownloadtool-v4-0-international-t3903272
You'll get your phone like it comes out of the box.
yep, do this:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6/how-to/tool-msmdownloadtool-v4-0-international-t3903272
I had the same problem with my OP3. i cant get past the fastboot screen. after i tried the tool everything was back to normal. but i had to oem lock after it to boot up.
Also use the official twrp for a fully functional backup and restore
Thank you all for your reply !
I've tried to follow the process from the link but the MSMTool is not finding my OP6 and I've uninstall in the Device Manager as indicated:
HTML:
plug in the phone to the computer, go in device manager and under port (COM) disinstall qualcomm one (oneplus 6) and then unplug
But When I go into safe mode and re-plug, I can't do this part because I don't have this information....
HTML:
Now you have to see US8_BULK as new device connected and you can also see in device manager; if you can't notice it, repeat the process until you see it (power on, power off, hold...) there is a full youtube guide for op5 and it's the same process
I tried on 2 different PC (Windows 10 and 7) but nothing worked so I can't used the MSMTool
You have to use it in safe mode to install the unsigned drivers. It only works when you see the device as something like 9800 in your device manager.
Dont worry if it fails a few times. I had to do this 8 times on my OP3 till it was successful.
You can also use this guide:

The steps are the same
Hi all! Now we can root our Sunny 2 phones!
I'd make a TWRP port for this device (adb enabled) so we can just sideload the Magisk installer.
History:
After some time having a Wiko Sunny 2 phone, I'd search a lot and didn't find any method for rooting this little thing.
Then I had the idea to mod the stock recovery to allow test keys and then flash anything, tried to do that and didn't work.
Another idea came to my mind: port TWRP from another phone with same chipset. Started my search for a SPD7731c device with working TWRP and after some time found some guy who made a TWRP port for his "Selecline S6S4IN3G" device and as it had the same chipset it worked. Just gathered the recovery.img from the stock rom (thanks Wiko for giving it on they web page) and unpacked it with carliv image kitchen, replaced the stock ramdisk with TWRP's one and just modded some things inside it (default.prop and the init.rc files). As the vold.fstab is the same, didn't need to modify it.
After some testing, the only problem remaining is that the touch doesn't work well (it receives touch input all the time, even if not touched) but it's enough to get our Sunny2's rooted via ADB and magisk's zip.
REQUIREMENTS:
A PC (or another phone with OTG support, if you use a phone then you'll also need an adb binary compiled for ARM)
ADB, Fastboot and drivers: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1N38jqQqX87dEKsBIgDb_9MC-k43YUi85
TWRP image: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1DZhL6RckvzQyxGCq2Yy64Cqnpnnm1Ofp
Stock recovery image (in case something goes wrong you can revert to this): https://drive.google.com/open?id=1spaFc1sqqjFdwzt9cYDfSO_KVh1aYuh5
Magisk ZIP (can be latest or this zip): https://drive.google.com/open?id=1-OPU1JycSr8nVyAGfdkhdajn8Uap_0dl
ROOT PROCESS:
1. While on Android, go to Settings>About this device and toch 7 times Build number (this will enable Developer Options)
2. Now go back to Settings and then Developer options>Enable OEM unlock and USB debugging.
3. Connect the device to the PC and install the correct driver (for doing this just open Device Manager and force the install of Android Composite ADB Interface on your unrecognized device (should be called SUNNY2)).
4. Open a CMD/Terminal and type this:
Code:
adb reboot-bootloader
5. Now type
Code:
fastboot flash recovery path/to/twrp-suny2.img
and after that just
Code:
fastboot reboot
.
6. Now the phone will start, just type in CMD/Terminal
Code:
adb reboot recovery
and you will boot into TWRP.
7. Okay, this TWRP has a buggy touch so just use ADB to install the magisk zip:
Code:
adb shell twrp sideload
, then
Code:
adb sideload path/to/magisk.zip
and finally
Code:
adb reboot
.
8. Nice, now Magisk should be installed. Now with root access, happy modding!
Some things to note:
1) In this guide I did everything via ADB, never booted to recovery or fastboot using button combinations. Why? Simple, on my device I didn't find the correct combinations.
2) You can use TWRP also for factory resetting or installing anything, but via ADB only (as the touch doesn't work properly).
3) If you need any help with this device just PM me!
I hope this guide will be useful for anyone.

Stuck in boot loop
Hi ! Thanks for the HowTo !
But...
I followed the exact same procedure (except I had to fastboot oem unlock before flashing the twrp image, in addition to unlocking it in dev mode).
After flashing, the device was stuck in a boot loop : "orange state your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted / your device will boot in 5 seconds". Tried all manners of key combos to reboot in recovery (Vol Up + power is supposed to be the right combo) but to no avail.
Fortunately Wiko provides an "upgrade" tool that allows you to factory reset the device (support dot wikomobile dot com /maj/Sunny2Plus_V24.zip, window$ only) but no luck installing twrp.
Any idea why ? Thanks in advance

Hmm this device is pretty strange, his key combinations never worked for me (because of that I'd need to reboot into system a few times, instead of booting to fastboot with keys).
You can try this:
After flashing stock rom and allowing oem unlock on settings, reboot directly to fastboot. Then use "fastboot boot recovery.img" and tell me what it says. If it says something about bad boot image, it's normal (that happens in my device even if try to load stock boot.img).
Also there's a tool called SPD Research Download Tool, which let's you flash the phone partitions one by one (manually selectable) from the path you want, while phone is in download mode (volume down and connect USB to PC). However, I don't know if that tool's license allows it's free redistribution, so I recommend research for it before downloading anything.
You can get the stock files by running the wiko upgrade tool, going to the folder it extracted his files and then looking for a file called rom.pac (then unpack it, there are guides here on XDA for doing so). You can even edit the boot splash image lol
Sorry for wasting your time
I'm so stupid ! It turns out my device is a different model, the Sunny 2 Plus.
Sorry, and thanks again
Does anyone know if a custom rom exists for the Wiko Sunny 2?

Nope, sold the device some days after writing this post so didn't even bother to port anything.
BTW it's a 4-core phone with 512MB RAM, so what would you expect to run there? I thing nothing higher than MM (KK would be nice if it was not so outdated nowadays)
Hi, i have got a problem with my wiko sunny 2 plus.
i flashed twrp via fastboot, it succeed. but after reboot the phone didnt start,
only shows orange state, didn´t connect to pc anymore with same cable. i mean i can hear the win7 sound of connecting device and right after connect sound appear then disconnect sound follows right after. so i cant detect the device with adb anymore. what to do, any idea? P.S. sp flashtool also cant detect device. greets
merci beaucoup j espere sa marche
Hi There!
I'm exeriencing a wierd problem:
On my rooted Doogee S60, i was able to enter the built in recovery mode (and from there the fastboot mode) with Vol+ and Power.
Since i've installed a twrp recovery.img, pressing Vol+ and Power will launch the TWRP UI (wich i cant use, because my touchscreen is disabled).
Normal boot won't work eighter - i flashed a corrupted system.img file as it looks like (ooops). There is also the message at the Boot Screen saying:
"Orange State - Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted. Your device will boot in 5 seconds"
... although these 5 seconds won't countdown and the device won't boot.
If i enter the TWRP, i can still access the ADB mode. So i can sideload stuff on the device, even the sd card is shown on pc. But the command
adb reboot fastloader
will reboot the phone, but not load the fastloader/fastboot - as it stucks at boot screen (orange state).
Any other ideas to access fastboot, due to flash the recovery.img again with the original to fix?
... or simple question: did i brick it?
thx in advance
Command
Code:
adb reboot fastloader
doesn't exist.

Hi introjoe,
Are you doing? i have the doogee s60 but i just cant root it :'( can you tell me please how did you do it, or the files you use for it? i allready tried but, when i reset and enter fastboot mode, my pc simply dont recognize it.
I want to upgrade the android system to 9 or 10, thats why im doing all o this.
Thanks in advance.
@doryan666
i wasnt able to root the device in the end unfortunately.
i tried using an unofficial twrp, but i was stuck at the main boot screen
i t seems to need some bootloader-activation-code to enter the bootloader to install a new os.
the command line would look like
adb reboot bootloader "CODE"
the activation code has not been released yet by doogee ... and most probably never will be.
sorry to say but i dont think android upgrad will be possible with this device
