Quite possibly, though I think we'll have to wait for our cooks, as per last time. Good luck guys (and girls?)!

Great news
i have installed it some hours ago
not hard to do:
remove boot.img and kernel module, recovery , build.prop
tune the updater-script, remove version check (first line) remove patching of previous files, remove file permission (last line)
if some one want to try i have 2 zip update, 1st update to FRF72 2nd restore root (i forgot to remove permission on the first update)
above patches is only tested in my vanilla FRF50
can i try it with defrost 1.0? and are their any differences between the old 2.2 and the newer version?

moved apps are :
-com.android.spare_parts-1.apk

-setcpu_1.54.apk
-TitaniumBackup.apk
-Twitter.apk

someone needs to find out what changes have been made to new version.

apply:
1) vX-vanilla-signed.zip
2) framework-vanilla-signed.zip
2) frf72-desire-signed.zip
3) frf72-desire-root-signed.zip
after update system still report FRF50 but this is only cosmetic, my patch don't touch build.prop
frf72-desire-root-signed.zip is the cyanogen root for FRF50, without nexus kernel
Failed for me : seems that some signature for AccountAndSyncSettings are not matching (c50dc... versus 4565a...)
Thanks anyway
i have made another update to fix both PassionQuickOffice and AccountAndSyncSettings
check my previous post
Unforntunately kali it still reports that issue - i cant flash the signed.zip

It should be possible, but will need testing to confirm.
What are changes comparing to OTA rom?
Is there any changelog?
I've tried installing a pre-rooted version of this. Nothing is very obviously different from 2.09.405.8.
Kernel is 2.6.32.15-g6a358a9. Google Maps 4.4.0, Mail 2.2, Flash 10.1.72.7.
edit: that is a new kernel, though.

It's just an automated cooked version - busybox added and boot sound removed. Nothing special. I can upload it if you want.

Thanks ! Would you recommend new 32.47.00 radio or the one from this RUU ?
This radio (5.09.05.30_2) is fine for me, no problems at all.
Ok, I've uploaded the ROM.
Differences from RUU:
Rooted (busybox)
Boot sound removed
Bash added
Zipaligned

They released it in India yesterday (H06L04). German source:
http://www.handy-faq.de/forum/honor-6-firmware-b510-lollipop-emui3-1-android5-1-1-t317747/
There you find a link to the firmware:
http://hihonor.in/sites/default/files/hono-6-Android-5.1.zip
In the .zip there is a PDF file with all the prerequisites you need to meet.
Haven't tried it myself though...

Everything you're talking about is covered by this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=57273393&postcount=2 Here you've got the official download link for stable 5.1.1 ROM for H60-L02 as well as a Mega mirror. Only thing you have to do is download it and install to your phone, simple as that.

Thank you very much!
Is the kernel version and the security patch somehow related?
I want to add nethunter support to the kernel, which I have already successfully done on Corvus OS with android 11.
Which kernel version should I choose?

Watch this tutorial
You can install the update via ADB or SD Card. I've linked the guides and linked th back to this page.
can't sideload or flash through TWRP, adb says it can't read the zip

You need to flash the original INS firmware(security update must end with BVI2) and then to sideload the update. TWRP is the problem.
yeah I saw your other thread too but odin refuses to flash the Indian firmware

Well ins firmware is only for f variant and odin wont let you flash it on m variant phone. You now have a compatibility issue. The beta also cannot be flashed over non INS firmware, so you cannot try the beta on m version of the phone. If you really want android 13 you can try lineage or Pixel Experience.
