I just got mine today off expansys.
Just tried it out and I'm having a few issues using it with it Windows Media Player. I've got the latest Audio Drivers, so that's not an issue.
Buttons
Make a phone call - Works
End Phone Call - Works
next song - Doesn't work
previous song - Doesn't work
Play/Pause - works to launch Windows Media Player, but not for anything else
Volume Down - Doesn't Work
Volume Up - Doesn't Work
I will test it out with HTC Audio Manager
Tried Audio Manager...no joy.
When I try to use any of the music related buttons it launches Windows Media player
I don't have problems on using it with Windows Media Player
What Rom & Radio are you using?
I think I may have a dud unit...it looks like its been refurbished.
I'll probably have to return it.

It's been a while I have been working to fix these issues with HTC HD2's new headset:
- The Next Track/Last Track buttons on the headset do not work with Pocket Player
- When the screen is off (the phone is in your pocket and you are listening to music with Pocket Player), the volume rocker buttons on the phone itself do not work. (You have to take the phone out of your pocket and turn on the screen, unlock the silder and then turn the volume up or down)
If anyone could help with this issue, that would be great!

I think that Audio/Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP) is given by default to HTC Sense's Music Player because whenever you press any command on handset/carstereo is switches to that Music Plater ignoring your already active PocketPlayer
I've given up on trying to find solution to it and also contacting HTC because of their ignorant customer service
Weird. Never had that. But I also never used HTC Music Player.
I believe I have a solution for this (with the compromise of getting rid of HTC Sense). If anyone is interested, pls let me know.
Same issue here.
I can not control Pocket Player with my headset controls.
If someone can make this happen there is 20 dlls from me on it (double of what I paid for the player itself).

Use a ROM without HTC Sense / Install PP / In Options, plugins, "update now" / tap WM plugin then tap "configure" / check the "Intercept WMP", then all all items from "Load WMP Plugins" like "HTC WMP" and tick all boxes below, checking "next/back=Rewind/FF" and "play/pause"

Something to work without changing ROMs?
I would like to keep my phone as it is with manufacturer ROM (Sense included) and have the wired controls work with Pocket Player.
The plan is to make a AUX cable with the controls and install it on my car, then I can just change songs without any distracting from the road.

This is a simple solution to fix the issue of automatic closing of file in MX Player in Lenovo A6000 (Lollipop 5.0.2) while volume level is increased above 10 when a headset is connected.
1. Go to Settings
2. Select Audio
3. Uncheck System Audio
Disabling the system audio will result in mute when media volume is set to 0kMute). There won't be any volume when you adjust the volume using gesture.
Can you explain your issue?
Does MX Player crashes when the volume is raised above 10?
Can you collect the logs immediately after the crash & upload here?

Got it.. I've attached it. I tried opening two video files and it got closed above the volume level 10. This happens only when a HEADSET is connected.!

Just a notice
In my Lenovo a6000 it's
1. Settings
2. Sound & notification
3. Turn off all volumes except media
Don't forget to reset the volume back after watching.
[Probably a Bug] MX player doesn't get past the "Searching for Subtitles" screen when
I have tried any number of times, for different videos, but it doesn't move past the"Searching for Subtitles" screen, making that option effectively useless.
I have checked, there's no problem with my LTE.
I'm using MX Player Pro 1.8.15 on Z00L using cm 14.1/7.1.1

Hi all, I noticed that if I play audio files, present on the phone and accessible via "My files", therefore via the player supplied with the Nord 2T, after 30 seconds in which the screen is active, playback stops and upon unlocking the screen the track returned to the beginning.
Do you know if there is a way to allow media playback even after screen lock?
