Is anyone else running into issue with pushing the latest TWRP with the new Android 11 update?? Whenever I push it with Fastboot boot img it just sits on the Fastboot logo and does not boot into TWRP

Currently Android 11 is not supporting TWRP so the easiest way to flash is to boot the patched magisk img file
magisk.img
Shared with Dropbox
www.dropbox.com
just turn into fastboot mode
command line:
fastboot flash boot magisk.img
restart and you are rooted

I was running stock OOS with Android 8.1 with the normal TWRP and Magisk working. When the OOS 9 got out, I installed the full OTA through TWRP (dirty flash) and everything went perfectly, with no problems whatsoever, but I lost TWRP and Magisk, of course.
Now in Android 9 I can't seem to reinstall TWRP (I'm trying with the latest bluespark): I can boot TWRP from fastboot and install Magisk, everything is fine, Magisk works great. However, when I try to install the TWRP zip (through the fastboot loaded TWRP), the phone freezes at the bootloader warning and doesn't boot (and I have to reinstall the full OTA zip to get the phone working again). Or, some other times, it reboots always to the recovery and never to the OS. Any ideas on how to solve this? Thanks in advance.
What version of bluespark are you using ?? v2

first fastboot boot twrp.img, the install twrp.zip , reboot recovery and then magisk..
I also tried to fastboot boot blu_spark twrp V2 IMG.... This ended in a black screen. I used the latest official twrp without a problem on pie.

Thanks! Did it in that exact order and now everything works. I was forgetting to reboot the recovery before installing Magisk.

Cuz of kernel panic. When you boot into twrp after fastboot command - unplag your cable from pc when the command is done, then disable mtp, connect to pc and re-enable mtp.
Dont forget to click thanks
And yeah, use blu spark's TWRP, not official one
Came here from google.

This procedure didn't work for me, for some reason "fastboot boot twrp.img" was leading to black screen.
What worked for me was
1) Boot to fastboot
2) fastboot flash twrpXXX.img
3) Without rebooting, select recovery from fastboot's bootloader menu
4) If you are able to boot in twrp this time, then flash blu spark twrp.
5) Reboot
6) Try to reboot in recovery as usual
If all worked well, you should see twrp recovery.
Cheers.

Hi everyone, recently unrooted and re-locked my bootloader. Decided I enjoyed my OnePlus rooted better, so I've unlocked bootloader again and downloaded latest twrp.img and .zip.
Upon entering fastboot mode and using
"fastboot boot recovery.img"
it runs fine then hangs on the FASTBOOT MODE screen with OnePlus logo. Doesn't ever boot into twrp. I've tried on both slots A and B and multiple versions of twrp and they all hang on the FASTBOOT splash screen. Any ideas? I haven't bricked my phone all I'm looking to do is get into twrp.
Thanks in advance

You have to flash a patched boot.img that matches your OS from fastboot and install twrp installer from magisk as a module
Twrp 3.3.1-65 by mauronofrio works. I don't think official 3.3.1.4 twrp works.
And like GUGUITOMTG4 sad follow this guide :

The fastboot boot twrp command isn't working with Android 10. Should flash patched boot img as easiest method.

First, hold power+vol up buttons for 15 sec to get out of the fastboot frozen screen.
When it shuts down, hold power+volume up again for a few seconds. That should boot it into bootloader.
On the computer download the correct patched image for your OS version https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...isk-patched-boot-image-oneplus-7-pro-t3964345
Place it in the fastboot folder on the computer, connect the phone to computer while on bootloader and input the commnd: fastboot flash boot magisk_patched.img

I have the problem that I can no longer boot into the TWRP. I can enter the system and the Fastboot normally.
When I want to start TWRP I always see the TWRP picture for a few seconds and then black and it repeats itself.
Can I flash TWRP via Fastboot?

Thanks for the help

I'm guessing your on OOS open beta 1 or 2?
TWRP not working is a known issue
Fastbooting TWRP won't work either. You will have to downgrade back to Android 10 to get TWRP working again
Ok thank you I didn't know that.
The downgrade worked.
Thanks again
Hi Channel,
fastboot boot twrp-3.5.2_9-0-enchilada.img is successful BUT lands in crash dump error (init killed continue and exit). How can I boot into recovery? Any suggestions
Device : Oneplus 6 with Bootloader Unlocked
Currently running Oxygen OS Android 11 OB1
Check this https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...eta-1-for-oneplus-6-6t.4304161/#post-85343061
flash the boot.img in fastboot: fastboot flash boot boot.img and reboot ^^
fastboot flash boot boot.img
This needs to be done for both slots A and B?
Also, when you say reboot, does it mean reboot to system
Would anyone be able to direct me or send me the proper information on how to root my OnePlus 9 global LE2115? Because their are to many threads and Im getting confused
You can either use boot.img or you can boot into twrp and flash magisk.apk. 2 options for A11
I have issues rooting LE2115_11_C.44 (Lastest update android 12)
I try patched with Magisk:
fastboot boot boot.img
and that's ok, device is rooted, but when reboot my device don't keep root, so I try:
fastboot flash boot_a boot.img
fastboot flash boot_b boot.img
and device go into loop in bootloader then I rolled back flashing stock boot.img
I tried install TWRP from https://dl.twrp.me/lemonadep/ using
fastboot boot twrp.img
The TWRP logo appear and next show "Qualcomm crush dump mode"
I need help

A12 root method is different. Not like A11 where you flash the patched boot.img,it won't work. VBmeta and a vendor.img is used also. Also, TWRP is for A11. If you want root,Use the tool here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...xyysds-root-toolbox-coloros-oxygenos.4341167/
Use option 5 and then 6 and reboot. Magisk will be installed. Click the magisk app and update it.
