Hi everyone,
Can someone have any idea what c900 is ?
I've heard it's a global version.
In my notification bar, it says that this phone is a test phone.
Now I have access to everything except updates.
How do I solve this?
Thanks to all of you!

Hello everyone,
Please help.
I bought the Canadian Fido P20. Few days ago, the system updated to EMUI 9.0 automatically.
Since that, I couldn't download the themes from Huawei Themes App and also got some app problems.
Therefore I downgrade back to EMUI 8.1 through the Hisuit. Right now the build number is EML-L09 8.1.0.113(C792).
I'm not sure this is the right version for my phone. Now I still cannot download the themes from Huawei Themes APP, also the update push of EMUI 9.0 is no longer available.
Just drive me crazy about that, if I tried to use Hisuit to recover the cellpone, it doesn't support the device. I have no idea why Huawei provides this kind of poor support to Canadian.
Anyone knows how to get the right version back? Anything I can do about it?
Thank you very much, guys
Hi all,
I need some help. I have not gotten OTA updates since 2018 and I really want to update my P20 pro. Currently I have the CLT-L29 running on 8.1.0.155(C636). Does anyone know the best method to manually update this phone to the latest software or am I just stuck with it? I am located in the US.
Did you try HiSuite on a PC?
Own ELS-NX9 = P40 Pro and wounder if anyone have solved to install Harmony Os on global devices.
Or do you need to switch to Chinese rom instead and are that even possible ?
I'd love to know this too. HMOS is unlikely to arrive in NZ until the end of the year
Checked for solutions but can only find China to Global not to switch Global to China rom.
Have any flashed a Chinese rom on a Global device and where did you find the rom and tools or did you use Twrp like custom roms?
Seen Taobao sellers begin to offer this service but haven't seen any turtorials on the internet

I have a P40 Pro model ELS-NX9. Changing the country to "China" in the Android system settings, Huawei AppGalery and MyHuawei app did not help. The current Harmony OS update does not support this model.
i have same problem to upgrade it to Harmony OS. I also have problem with my old model P20 Pro as well
Here is a solution. It is not for free. EMUI10.1 is needed and USB connection to a computer. It is not working on EMUi11.

Hello everyone. Is there any help in resolving a P40 pro that is locked to huawei id? Some methods include emergency backup, but i guess that doesnt work with 11.0.0.180 firmware.
Is it possible to do a rollback to some 10.x.x.xxx firmware? Guess rollback with huawei proxy wouldnt work, because it wouldnt be possible to connect it to hi suite....any suggestions? Thank you in advance...
Hello XDA People
I have a simple question for my P40 Pro, if we go over the website https://professorjtj.github.io, I can see that there is a P40 Pro HarmonyOS2.0 firmware for my region and my own device model
should I update my phone to HarmonyOS through that way? or will that not work and brick the device?
Thanks
