I don't know if anyone has found a solution, but I have successfully rooted my X30. Before I begin, I am NOT responsible for ANY damage incurred by following these instructions.
Here's what I did:
1) Unlock bootloader-
This is pretty easy on the X30. You need to have adb and fastboot installed. In a terminal (for Linux, which is what I use) or command prompt (for Windows) type: adb reboot bootloader. Once in bootloader, type: fastboot flashing unlock. on your phone (the print is really small) use the volume rocker to choose to unlock. Oh, before i forget, backup anything you want to keep as this will wipe the phone.
2) Boot the phone up, sign in, and search for magisk manger for android. Download and install it.
3) Download the boot image I have attached (it is the stock image for the X30).
4) Place the image on the root of your sd card or internal storage.
5) Open magisk manager and touch install (the one at the top, as there are two). Next tick the circle next to "Select and Patch a file. Choose the boot image you downloaded from here and magisk will do the rest.
6) Now boot it back into the bootloader (adb reboot bootloader).
7) Once in bootloader, type: fastboot flash boot magisk.img. Reboot phone (fastboot reboot).
8) After the phone is booted open Play Store and download root checker. Once it's downloaded open it and check for root. You should see a prompt asking for you to grant root access. touch "Grant" and it will respond and tell you have root access!

There is a way to connect a lan usb adapter?
fantastic work like a charm, but used recovery download from the german one and worked rooted oukitel k6000 plus yea
i follow every step ( iread many times before i do it)
But Phone dosent boot anymore
I got only this Message on Display :
Orange State
yor device has been unlocked and cant ve trust
your device will reboot in 5 seconds
But Nothing happend
When i try to flash stock rom with splash tool i got da brom error with 60002
Its bricked???
Worked fine. I had to download files from other websites, but this procedure was good.
After reboot, su was working fine in /system. I wanted to reset the device completely, and typed "fastboot oem unlock"; I thought it would wipe data. Now, phone only boots on TWRP, and it seems like the /data partition is broken. TWRP can mount /system, but not /data. Either the device node is missig, or the partition is not formated properly.
Code:
# cat /etc/fstab
/dev/block/mmcblk0p6 /nvdata ext4 rw 0 0
/dev/block/mmcblk0p8 /protect_f ext4 rw 0 0
/dev/block/mmcblk0p9 /protect_s ext4 rw 0 0
/dev/block/mmcblk0p26 /system ext4 rw 0 0
/dev/block/mmcblk0p27 /cache ext4 rw 0 0
/dev/block/dm-0 /data ext4 rw 0 0
/external_sd auto rw 0 0
/usbotg auto rw 0 0
Losetup-a gives nothing.
I tried all possible commands (adb reboot to everything), and press volume up or down ... always get back in TWRP. Can not even reach the factory menu (the one where there are tests).
After reformating /data i can reboot to bootloader (fastboot), but still not /system.
Stock ROM was looking fine; I would like to be able to keep it. I would like to avoid flashing to an other ROM.
In short, I have TWRP and flashboot, but /system launches TWRP.
I don't know how to get a working system. SPFlashTool does not seem to work with TWRP installed. TWRP does not like OUKITEL_K6000_Plus_V6.0_20170519.rar. I can't find any ZIP ROM for TWRP. And when I try individual .img files from the RAR, TWRP can install them, but it does notproduce a working phone.
I fear something could be wrong with the partition table, or at least /data. /system contains many files and this looks good.
---------- Post added at 01:30 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:40 PM ----------
How I fixed it:
fastboot flash boot /tmp/OUKITEL_K6000_Plus_V6.0_20170519/recovery-verified.img (EDIT: this MUST be wrong, should be fastboot flash recovery /tmp/OUKITEL_K6000_Plus_V6.0_20170519/recovery-verified.img or fastboot flash boot /tmp/OUKITEL_K6000_Plus_V6.0_20170519/boot-verified.img )
then, perform again https://fvknl.pro/k6000-plus-v6-0-upgrade/
and now I have a working phone.
* Can't apply Android updates because of TWRP+SuperSU ?
Now that my phone works, and is rooted (i use the stock ROM version 6), may 19th, the system is telling me there are system updates to do. I have downloaded them (200MB), but after reboot, update fails, for obvious reasons: the update is designed to be installed by the stock recovery firmware; and that partition is overwritten by TWRP.
I was given a tip to work around this (wherer the img file is taken from the .rar archive of the stock ROM):
# fastboot boot /tmp/recovery-verified.img
and it worked: fastboot uploaded the recovery image to the phone, ran it, and that recovery firmware started to apply the update.
Started ... but failed before half of it ... PROBABLY because /system was HEAVILY modified while I asked TWRP to install UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.82-20170528234214.zip (read the installation log of SuperSU ... it alters many things).
How can I apply my android updates without erasing the whole phone each time I want to apply them ?
A: how to get the installation log, to see the failure point, and fix it manually
or
B: install the update manually without running the recovery, but extract the update file, and manually copy the new files at due place, one by one
or
C: how to undo installation of SuperSU, so that /system is in a state where the update can be applied.
I want to do this without erasing /data, or /system. I had this issue on my previous phone; since december 2014 I could not apply any Android update; so my phone is stuck to Android 4 from december 2014. There have been many changes and updates during 2015 and I could not apply them. After installing su, i had been able to perform two Android updates; updates broke after installing Xposed. I do not want my new K6000 to have the same issue; I want to find a way to apply updates. And I would like to keep the stock flavour because there are many features I would like to use (don't want to install misc ROMs).

I have tried many random things; I forgot the details of it. The versions are not a problem; there are links around to download old installers. Even if latest Xposed is for Android 25, archives will let you download v24.
It also depends when you rooted your phone, and which updates you did on your ROM before rooting. Depends if you are using ROM v6, v9, or v18 ...
Also, even if Xposed is installed, it's not working properly; in particular, I wanted Xposed to NotifyClean, and this plugin could not be installed on the Xposed I have (download goes fine, but plugin complains I need reboot to activate it). So, in short, Xposed is useless for me for now. Some other plugins have installed correctly (Taskbar).
The Xposed I have NOW is version 87 by PurifyOS. ATM, Android API 24.
But I said I tried many random things, so, maybe having tried to installed other variations of Xposed by other people was important to have this one installed. I remember that at some point, trying to install this one (purify) failed, and then, worked later ... forgot why.
Error
When you try to upload a TWRP, a message pops up:
"error: cannot load 'recovery-twrp31jemini.img'"
Bootloader should be unlocked. I see a buzz when switching on "yor device has been unlocked and cant ve trust
your device will reboot in 5 seconds"
Phone has a ROM v18
Application procedure on W10.
Does anyone find any solution?
You don't need to burn TWRP in FLASH to be able to use it. You just need to load and run it, this way:
fastboot boot recovery_TWRP-3.1.0.img
This way, if you have backup your whole phone, or downloaded and extracted a ROM, you can boot a stock recovery image:
fastboot boot /tmp/recovery-verified.img
According to your name jemini ... I thjink you have downlaoded the wrong TWRP. Boot and flash may fail if you grabbed a file for an other phone.
This should be ROM independant.
Since I rarely use TWRP, I now keep the stock recovery, and run TWRP from fastboot only when I need it; this way, stock recovery is available for Android updates.
Do you have links to ROM v18, so that I can download and install it directly, instead of having to burn v6, then update to v9 and v18 via update process ? I have issues with updates, and would like to flash directly using v18; but could not find a download link.
I got the phone today and unlocked it for root and everything.
After
Code:
fastboot oem unlock
the following showed up:
Code:
...
(bootloader) Start unlock flow
OKAY [ 14.791s]
finished. total time: 14.792s
Problem is now:
Orange state
Your device has been unlocked and can't be trust
Your device will boot in 5 seconds.
But it's not booting, just stuck at this screen.
Any help very much appreciated!
EDIT:
I was on V23 ROM which came per OTA.
EDIT-2:
I was able to flash it back to V23 with flashtool, but no root. Bootloader seems to be unlocked, the message still appears.

What do you say that this rom picks up on the oukitel k6000 plus ??
I need someone to help me my k6000 plus did not call any more after this procedure.
when I install the rom stock by flash sp this error appears
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByEkRDgYmbWtOXdpbngtcGJxQk0/view?usp=sharing
What do you want to do?
Flash the Stock ROM back with flashtool?
You should switch to "Download Only" and not "Firmware Upgrade".
Also the Download Agent was different when I flashed it, it was DA_PL.bin.

[GUIDE] Install TWRP on Nubia NX512J Z9Max

This guide explains how to install custom recovery [TWRP] on Nubia NX512J (Z9Max) device.
This uses a simple and handy tool made by [email protected] to install the TWRP as well as stock recovery on nx512j
The tool supports 3 versions of TWRP to be installed and 3 versions of stock recovery from v2.04, v9.20 & v9.21.
This also means that you can switch from TWRP to stock recovery if you want use stock firmware and vice versa.
The emmc_appsboot.mbn for TWRP and Stock recovery has different layouts this why for stock firmware, stock recovery with specific emmc_appsboot.mbn is required.
while for TWRP modified emmc_appsboot.mbn is required. The tool provides both options.
To begin this you will need following:-
1. Windows computer
2. USB Cable
3. of-course NX512J phone
Steps :-
1. First download the following zip from https://yadi.sk/d/ep-d0Lc63Hgnzr or from https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=889764386195916618 maintained by ilya_rat
2. Extract the zip file on your computer wherever you wish
3. Navigate to the extracted folder (Flash_recovery )
4. Run the install_recovery.bat file
5. A window will open showing several options. See the attached picture
6. If you do not have Fast-boot and ADB drivers installed then choose appropriate number and press enter to install the "USB drivers"
7. Power up your phone in fast-boot mode by pressing Power and Volume down button while phone is off until a menu option with nubia logo appears this is fastboot mode
8. A countdown timer can be seen on the fastboot page which restarts the phone after 10 seconds. Press volume up or down key to disable the countdown timer
9. Now connect the phone to PC using USB cable and enter your choice to install the stock recovery or TWRP. For example Choosing 3 option will install " TWRP 3.1.0.0"
10. A message will show that everything is OK if the TWRP is installed. You can reboot the phone to recovery mode from the bootloader menu by navigating using volume keys and using power button to select the option.
now you will greeted with TWRP from here on you can install any custom firmware or root your phone as you wish.
The official version of TWRP can be found at Teamwin website https://twrp.me/devices/nubianx512j.html
Remember:- If you plan to use stock firmware you must install the stock recovery using the tool and install the stock firmware. TWRP is only and only for any custom firmware due to different emmc_appsboot.mbn layout
The commands used in this tool
To install recovery
Code:
fastboot -i 0x19d2 flash recovery twrp*.img
where twrp*.img is the name of twrp recovery image
To install aboot [emmc_appsboot.mbn]
Code:
fastboot.exe -i 0x19d2 flash aboot emmc_appsboot.mbn

Hi,
if you are running a debian based distro, you have first to install adb and fastboot from manager or using apt-get.
2/ check if file /etc/udev/rules.d/51-android.rules is present and contains correct description of your phone idVendor and idProduct
if not run lsusb and add the following line
Code:
SUBSYSTEMS=="usb", ATTRS{idVendor}=="your idVendor", ATTRS{idProduct}=="your idProduct", MODE="0666" GROUP="androiddev", SYMLINK+="android%n"
3/ service udev restart
4/ unplug and plug again your phone and run adb devices, it will show a long number and letters with UNAUTHORIZED. that's OK
5/enter fastboot mode and unlock your bootloader with : fastboot oem unlock
6/ enter fastboot mode when booting your phone and type this: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
( you have to rename twrp.img to recovery.img)
that's done you can now boot to twrp and install su.
hey there avrmge!
thanks for the reply, but I already sent the device back to the seller, it was too far below my expectations.

Hello,
the procedure above generally works with any other android device,
i think the main problem with this phone is lack of notification led, no 3.5mm jack and sometimes battery drains too fast. except that, it is as normal as other models in same segment. what were your expectations ?
well, I was disappointed with the problems you mentioned and also:
-) no light sensor ( --> no automatic brightness)
-) accelerometer has only 2 axis working
-) no gyroscope
-) no proximity sensor

Medion lifetab MD60591 Model X10302 Unlock,Root,Philz Touch Recovery

hello guys
Sorry for my english , but i'll try to do my best .
Today i explain , how you unlock and root your medion x1030X device.
i'm no responsable for bricking devices etc.........
Make sure you have downloaded the stockrom and the flashtool from the medion site.
if you don't know how adb and fastboot works than leave it and don't try it.
what do you need
-magisk.zip
link : https://mega.nz/#!dEQVES4Y!1A_7iJu57OLiMwdGv-1hPFliaR53Wb90z8EeR1qat9M
-externalsdcard
-philz touch recovery.img
link : https://mega.nz/#!kYBVjJ5Y!IZfLvWa1Ca7KHLZG4VSqRRUqHKi_7P8_aO38MusJedY
First off all install fastboot and adb drivers on your pc.
There are many tutorials here on xda.
- go to settings , about tablet(the last option), click several times on build
number.
- No go one step back and you see that's there is a new option (developer
options)
- Open this and enable oem unlocking and usb debugging.
- connect the tablet too the pc and enable media transfer.
- now you see a usb debugging popup , allow it .
- CONGRATS THE FIRST STAGE IS COMPLETE.
- Now open een adb shell.
- type now adb reboot bootloader.
- the tablet reboots to fastboot mode now.
-Type now in the adb console(pc) fastboot oem unlock.
- On the tablet follow the instructions for unlocking.
- Type in adb shell type now fastboot reboot.
- The tablet reboots twice and then FORMAT THE DEVICE TOO FACTORY AGAIN.
- Setup again your tablet. and activate again developer options and usb
debugging in settings.
-download now magisk.zip file and copy it to a external sdcard and place it in
the tablet.
THE LAST PART NOW.
-reboot the tablet again in fastboot mode.(see earlier instructions)
-type in the adb shell now , fastboot flash recovery recovery.img (make sure
thats the recovery.img is placed where you open the adb shell window)
otherwise fastboot will not find the recovery.img.
-now reboot the device and hold volume up for selecting the recovery.
-Once entering the philz recovery go to format options and select format data.
-Now the internaldata can be mounted without errors.
-Go now to intall zip and install magisk.zip
Congrats your device is now rooted and fully unlocked .
REBOOT ONCE AGAIN AND SETUPTHE TABLET FOR THE LAST TIME.
ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi @snakekiller!
Many thanks for your tutorial / howto to unlock and root my Medion X10302 tablet.
It worked! Now I have a really good recovery and Magisk running.
I had to install anyways because the tablet got so slow sometimes I had to reboot. I guess it was the fault of some bad behaving app or from fragmentation of my emmc.
A new custom rom would be on my wishlist but this is good enough fro what I need it for.
If anyone has success with a custom rom for the X1030x please comment.
So thanks again,
greenoid
I have a little problem with rooting and Magisk:
Your magisk.zip somehow installs a SuperSU su binary together with the Magisk app in version 15.
No the Magisk app checks for updates and after 2 updates I'm at the current version 23.
If I start it it complains "Abnormal State...Please remove the other unsupported su."
Because Magisk does not support SuperSU binary since version 13 I've read and needs to use its own.
There's a script to uninstall SuperSU, but it needs to flash a stock boot.img afterwards.
I don't have the stock firmware from my OTA v2.11. Online from Medion there's only firmware v2.5.
Magisk did a backup of the boot.img, but I don't now the status of this image. I did a backup of it so far.
If this boot.img.gz does already contain changes made by SuperSU I wont get far.
I can't run Titanium Backup or other apps a root. But I can get root on an adb shell.
What should I do to switch to a clean and functioning Magisk from here?
I solved my Magisk problem.
I got the v2.11 OTA files from support at the Medion community admin
LIFETAB X1030X Firmware V2.11
First I tried a dirty flash of the boot partition. This ended in a rather scary boot loop.
In the end I flashed it all over and began anew.
Here's what I changed compared to the howto above:
- download Magisk-23.apk and rename it Magisk-23.zip
- copy it the external SD-Card
- install that while being in recovery
- before you reboot from phils recovery, don't say yes to install root/SuperSU!
- afterwards go to settings and allow thrid party apks.
- start Magisk app (stub) and download the real app
Now I've really rooted the tablet. Apps needing root will prompt a dialog asking for access,.
Google Play does work.

Introduction
After finding this amazing device (LKM-EMW) for a very cheap price (90 euros new), I made the fatal mistake of updating through OTA to the Latest Android 10 version 00f.
So where is the Problem?? The latest .DZ from the KDZ firmware wasn't extractable through any tool or script I could find anywhere online, Only the Android 9 ROM was working, but Downgrading through LGUP or LG Flash tool was very risky!!!! (due to ARB protection).
Since this phone's Fastboot mode was replaced with LG's own DOWNLOAD mode, using Fastboot commands to flash the Magisk's patched boot image was impossible. QFIL was also not a possibility, Considering it ships with a MTK chipset, and using SP flash tool will require This phone's particular Scatter file and a signed DA from LG to work, leaving me with no other choices for obtaining Root access.
That is, until I found the following tool: mtkclient by bkerler.
Prerequisites
backup of your DATA. (during and after unlocking the Bootloader, your data partition must be wiped!!!!)
Preferably a Windows PC (you will need LGUP in case something goes wrong anyways).
MTK ALL-in-one 1.0.8 drivers and LG's drivers installed.
mtkclient installed and running (don't ask me how-to, the Github page is pretty self explanatory).
This Magisk Alpha Build patched for MTK downloaded for installation.
Since this device uses an A/B partitioning system, you need to know which slot is the active one. Using this App, under the System tab, you can find out which one is active. Mine was _b slot.
and above all.... Patience.
Unlocking the Bootloader
(please note, using python [command] didn't work for me for some reason. However, using py [command] worked for me. Use what works!)
Turn on OEM Unlocking and USB Debugging in Developers Options.
Turn off your phone and remove sim/sdcard.
launch cmd inside the mtkclient folder or cd into it.
backup your Preloader by using: py mtk dumppreloader --filename=preloader.bin.
connect your phone turned off while holding the Volume Down + the Assistant buttons to boot into BROM mode. The Preloader backup will run automatically.
After it's complete, disconnect your device's cable. You will need to do this after every step.
Run the command: py mtk e metadata, userdata and connect while holding the button combo. Wait for it to complete.
Disconnect again, then run: py mtk xflash seccfg unlock and reconnect.
If successful, your device's Bootloader is now unlocked!!!
Rooting
Knowing which active slot you're booting into will change the next steps slightly. If it's _a, then all following commands will have an _a instead of _b .
Before rebooting after unlocking, use the command: py mtk r boot_b,vbmeta_b boot_b.bin,vbmeta_b.bin to backup your boot and vbmeta partitions respectively. (you will find them in the mtkclient folder afterwards!!)
reboot your phone. a warning screen will show up, don't panic!!!. It will ask you to Factory reset the phone upon successfully booting. Do it and reboot.
Setup your phone normally, then install the aforementioned Magisk APK.
Transfer the backed up boot.bin to your phone and patch it manually inside Magisk.
Transfer the Patched boot image back to your mtkclient folder and rename to i.e boot_magisk.bin.
Turn off your device and launch the command: py mtk w boot_b,vbmeta_b boot_magisk.bin,vbmeta.img.empty. Connect the phone.
when done, reboot your phone and launch Magisk. It will ask you to reinstall itself to complete the setup. Ignore the warning.
Go to Settings and switch to the Beta Update Channel, Reinstall Magisk 23.0 beta and Magisk manager again.
If successful, Your phone is now rooted.
Passing SafetynetAPI
Turn on Magisk Hide and repack Magisk Manager from Settings.
Install latest Riru core from Manager.
Install this Universal Safetynet fix by kdrag0n.
reboot and enjoy!!
Credits for all of this goes to:
bkerler for his awesome Tool, none of this is possible w/o it.

I don't understand your question. Can you use a better translator/formulate the question clearly? Also, if such a command existed, why would I write 3 paragraphs and a Guide?
My advice, go to the Github page of the tool and read/learn how the tool works first, then come back here if you're stuck.
Thx for this guide! my backup phone k41s is finally rooted
You are a very smart person. We finally have root for LGk41s (WORKS in K51s too).

It's don't work to LG K40S (Android 9 and 10), if you brick your phone u can reset them with:

py mtk w boot_b,vbmeta_b boot_b.bin,vbmeta.img.empty

Does anyone know if it's possible to do this on android 9, on 10 I can, but on 9 no, I wanted to because on android 9 there's recovery even if it's stock, is this a serto development site? does anyone know what prevents?
Great method, not that hard (Although not easy either)
Be aware that you first press the assistant + volume down button and then connect the USB to your PC, not the other way around. I didn't realize this earlier and almost pulled my hair out trying to understand why the program was freezing and sending errors
Also, the bootloader unlock command is outdated now, it was changed to py mtk da seccfg unlock
Worked on single-sim version (LM-K410HM)
Does it work on LG k52?
