Hey guys so I tried to get it all in the title but I desperately need help. I'm new to development and am unsure of the process of getting my mobile data running while on lineage OS 17.1 custom built by @jimbo77

Join the Telegram group maybe someone there would be able to share their troubleshooting. I know some have had issues with it but have been able to fix it

But treble enables LOS (and other roms) on MTK.

A developer see's a need to for Redmi6 Mediatec ROM he will develop, but don't wait it could never happen?
I tested lineageos15.1 and it worked, boot was ok and rom very smooth.
I will do it again as soon as I will have a day free.
A little help in the procedure would be great. I've already bricked my 6A by formatting the wrong directories, and had to go to a Xiaomi center to get it fixed. Details would be much appreciated.

Yet SIM doesn't work that well from my experience. I have to "activate" SIM signal and calls and sms won't work.
Otherwise if you still want help reply to me
I still want help. I don't want another bricked phone, that was a nightmare I just don't need right now. Please describe the whole process, from start to finish.
I did it at a moment that I had several free hours.
But now, it's too complicated for me touche find Time to do it again.
I juste followed the steps described un official TWRP github, and then install LOS15.1 Treble image.
boot, login, smooth and wifi was ok But didn't have enough Time to test with a sim for calls or data...
So I reflash stock miui 10 with miflash to find an usable phone.
Juste need a free moment to test los15.1 again and other gsi roms like aosp8.1, pixel experience, etc...

i'm very interested in having your feedback as i intend to put LineageOS or AOSP Treble on my Redmi 6 global version next month after the bootloader unlock time.
Do you plan to install OpenGoogleApps and root too?

No sms and calls works in those treble roms

I can see Galaxy S2 still alive and running Lineage OS 17.1 somehow someway so is it still possible to bring our device back from the dead in any way possible?

I also think that our device may have new roms but there is no developer who wants to work on it

You used Crdroid 3.8.9 for this device? Can you share more about your experience with it and answer a few questions relating to that rom forum please? Do you know any new custom roms for this device? Telegram group or something?

Crdroid is the same as linegeos14.1. rom with android 7 i recommend aosp 7.1 for the best speed

Can you post some screenshots of Crdroid please?How is the performance,ram management and battery life on this compared to the latest build of los 14.1? What extra customization does this rom have on top of los?What bugs are present? Does it support F2FS or do i have to go back to ext4?Can it be used without gapps??

I can't send screenshots because I'm not using it. And video bugs do not work or webview, as battery and ram the same thing as los14.1

For the webview to work, replace it with this one.

How did you flash the rom file tho? You check the first five check box in the wipe section then install the rom file right or am i missing something cuz while trying to flash it keeps saying file corrupted in twrp.

I flashed lineage os 17.1 to my phone with gapps and magisk
HOWEVER
no matter what I try no matter how I jump around I cannot cure the safetynet it just does not cooperate

This rom is very stable and beautiful for op9 (lemonade).
Will try this one today. Asap I can, hope this build fixes all the major bugs that were previously present on the last built.

Yeah this is one of the main things holding me back on considering this ROM - not a great user experience for us OnePlus 9 users who don't have wireless charging...
AFAIK it can only be fixed by the dev but not even sure its a known issue - doesn't really get much attention when it's mentioned (neither here nor on telegram).

I need to be on oos 11 to install custom roms? or i can do it from a newer os as well?
Also the process is 1.unlock bootloader
fastboot the recovery image
restart in recovery and wipe everything
proceed to sideload the rom right?
