can anybody help me with mu Galaxy S Duos:
I have Baseband S7562DDBMD1 build XXBMF2, rooted by one click root pro, my device is so slow and need help from you about flashing Kernel or installing custom ROM so that I can make it faster or if possible I want to install custom JB ROM as am a new in this seeking expert's help step by step guide would be very much appreciated. screenshot attached.

HY,i cant help you about the ROM because i dont have your phone and dont know how you have rooted it(S-OF/S-ON),but about the kernell,witch i think will solve your problems,you can flash a recovery,and then wipe cache,dalvik,etc to clean your device,and then flash the SPECIAL kernell for your device,restart,and wait a few moments for it to accomodate .IF you want more details let me know!

Hi, Thanks for the response, I have rooted it with the help of UnlockRoot Pro (using a PC) and flashed recovery (found in Galaxy S Duos S7562 Droidiser Rooting Kit) with Odin through a pc, that's it i have done, now pls advice me if I only flash a Kernel with Odin is this enough for overclocking with SetCPU application or do I need to flash a custom ROM aswell, in both ways kindly advice me appropriate Kernel and if needed ROm for me. I hope you understand my problem I want to make my device faster anyway.. or suggest any other way so that I can meet my objective.

HY,installing kernells is a good way of making your device faster,and more reliable,but if you are rooted,you can overclock your device directly if th processor allows that,just head over to paly store and download rom toolbox,there you will find anything you ever wanted ,as for the roms thery are good options as well,you can see what roms are available for your device from an app called goo manager.I hope that I helped you.

I just received my new STAR Q9000 and like an idiot I tried flashing it with an S5 Butterfly ROM without creating a backup.
And I bricked it. :silly:
I'm having trouble finding a stock ROM with a preloader. NeedROM and Pandawill have them but again no preloader was available.
May I ask help from any Q9000 owners out there to provide me one?

You might be out of luck on this one, it seems to be an uncommon device. Maybe try asking the place you bought it from and/or the manufacturer? (you will probably need google translate or a friend who speaks the appropriate language).

I have added a ROM at needrom with a good preloader. I done the same mistake as you and save my phone with this rom.

Plz guyz I really need your help I came here bcz it's the best website for mobiles....The problem I'm facing is that I have a QMobile i12 it's is so old...I already downloaded a custom rom for it but my mobile's usb port is not working so I can't connect it to pc and I really need a recovery.no matter it is cwm or twrp but make me one there is no recovery available and also guide me how to do it without PC.....I will be very very very thank full to you..... Greetings and welcome to assist. Unfortunately there is little information on your device and the only way I know of installing a recovery is with flashify but you need to be rooted first. If you have root you could use this guide here
