I have a 6045 that I could not get to run the Resurrection Remix ROM, probably due to the fact that it won't read TWRP 3+. Even with the older TWRP, running Linage 14.1 didn't recognize the sim card. So, I went with CM 12.1, abd GAPPS Nano; which has been fine. However I just got another 6045 that wouldn't unlock bootloader via Fastboot. I understand that they took away the option to unlock the bootloader via Fastboot. HOW UNSAVORY!! However I was able to use Sahara & Firehose Test to flash a later version (3.0+) of TWRP. I got RR to run on it, and WOW!! What a difference!! Reminds me of when I modded my first Huawei smartphone with CWM and CM7 back in 2010!! What a GREAT Rom!! I'm so satisfied with RR, everything is great!! My question is, How do I put RR on an older model of the 6045?? I haven't found a strategy. Does anyone on here know how to?? All thought and Ideas are welcome on this thread.

Yes, on both devices....however one device wouldn't take the newer version of TWRP, and the older version won't flash RR, unfortunately.
So, hello guys i am new here at XDA and I'd like to ask why i am not able to flash twrp for my redmi 6. I tried every methods and tutorials that is available bjt nothing worked.
Before i updated it, i successfully flashed twrp but when i moved to miui 11 it just seems impossible.
If you have any tips or methods for flashing twrp please help me
I have been trying unsucessfully tryiing to install Havoc OS on my phone for 2 days now and I believe the common theme seems to be TWRP.
I have tried to install different versions of Havoc, and then other Roms too and all fail in the same place.
There is no error code.
I have also tried to install different versions of TWRP going from 3.4.0.0 to 3.3.1.79 to 3.3.1.70 and none of these work
The steps are not complex and I have followed them to the letter
the bootloader is unlocked and magisk got installed although not needed for this part.
I also tried to install the rom via USB OTG and didnt work
please assist I am having so many issues with stock OS that i would like to try something else
TIA Bart
This can be closed I found it a much older version on the TWRP site itself and that actually allowed me to to flash the ROM
Recently I decided to play around with my retired xiaomi 4c which I bought in 2016/2017.
Firstly, I unlocked my phone and installed TWRP recovery. (the version I installed is twrp-3.1.1-0-libra), the link I used is here: https://dl.twrp.me/libra, the reason why I did not install version 3.1.1-1 is that It won't load in recovery mode.
Secondly, I tried to install lineage 14.1, 15.1,16.1, 17.1 (none of them worked), It gave me this error
E3004 the packge is for device 4c,libra, this device is .
After searching on google, I deleted the first line (the assert statement) in META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script.
I guess it managed to be installed (no error pop out).
the log displayed while it is installing:
detected filesystem ext4 for /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/system
packing system image unconditionally
However, when I click boot to system, it stuck on the mi logo.
I need some suggestions on how to make this work.
Thanks in advance!
Flash the latest available official miui (currently V10.1.1.0), via mi flash tools
Flash twrp or orangefox, via ADB. twrp official site has an old version, androidfilehost has a newer version TWRP-20190528-3.3.1.0-libra. orangefox official site has taken down libra files but sourceforge has OrangeFox -R10.0-1-Stable-libra.
Then try again
I experienced "this device is ." problem before.
From I read somewhere in XDA, sometimes a ROM may require certain recovery images to flash. So if the image is published with some recovery, you may want to try them together.
The last time I flashed my mi4c successfully, the LineageOS build and TWRP are both from this post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rom-android-8-9-10-unofficial-lineageos-for-mi-4c-mi-4s.4008625/ .
Good luck

Any idea how to fix this?
Try the boot image included in this build package and post your findings in that thread for assistance.

Here there are some builds https://androidfilehost.com/?w=search&s=libra&type=files&page=19
I have a problem installing Lineage OS. I have installed it with its official method, but at the time of starting its initial configuration it restarts several times until it goes into recovery mode, with the legend of Corrupt Android.
The same thing happens to me with the Pixel Experience which is being developed to be the official ROM soon. The difference is that before restarting and finishing in the same it appears to me that "com.phone.services" It has stopped.
I have done everything by fastboot and platforms tools as indicated by the official methods and their own provided recovery's.
With the STOCK ROM no problem.
Does anyone know what happens?
The recovery images that come from LineageOS site don't seem to work for me. I had to go here to get LOSRecovery.img for it since that's the only possible way any version of LineageOS will function.
Also, from my experience, the unofficial TWRP has issues when installed, but not when booted up directly from bootloader.

I understand, but it is something that also happens to me with the Pixel Experience.
I have not used TWRP. Only the official methods by fastboot and platforms tools
