Actually he can only boot custom recovery to install custom rom. no need to flash, so he can keep stock recovery instead.

Well, no matter what type of rom as the rom is in .zip flashable format can be flashed using"fastboot boot custom-recovery.img" method and in custom recovery to flash rom
So in this way custom recovery is temporarily

It's easier with TWRP than typing command lines to install any rom, it is made for that. No?
Especially since the initial question was about the orange fox.

All ROMs from 9.5.19 onwards are antirollback enabled ROM.. upgrading to these ROMs enables ARB4
If you want to stay on arb3 then flash firmware less MIUI10 ROM
Ok guys quick question. I have updated to this rom, now i face a issue with my SIM 1 where the signal drops very frequently and on putting the phone in airplane mode and back to normal is restoring the signal as well as internet connectivity. Did anyone else face the issue? I can confidently say that I never faced this issue while on MIUI 9.5.14

Think of fastboot as Bios of any computer and recovery as DOS/Windows trouble shoot.
Modems and and recoveries are not recommended to be flashed via recovery hence fastboot.
Another analogy, think of making computer overclocks via a software vs via bios. Software is easier but less accurate. Bios are harder but dead on accurate. That's the difference in lay man terms between flashing anything via recovery and fastboot.
Hope I am not wrong.

Well I've got kind of simillar situation, I couldn't install xiaomi.eu rom on any twrp but I could easily go back to global with MiFlash tool and fastboot[!] rom from xiaomi website.
If your phone is originaly "Poco", first flash CN official rom via fastboot then flash eu rom with twrp.
I managed to boot eu rom flashed over CN rom. I didn't use miflash, just used flash_all.bat

Boss text me i have the solution
Still no solution ? Anyone...
As the title says i have mayor issues instaling miui.eu. It is on this p2pro and also on mi10t.
So instalation goes without any problem but then it goes into boot loop. It has ofc encripted data and storage which i do wipe and still does boot loop. Where is the mistake there?
Fyi i have done this on all my other older xiaomi phones with ease - f1, mix2s, rn3pro, mi5, mi5s, rn5pro, rn7... All of them went easily but this last two is making it damn hard. Any idea is much apriciated

My friend also had f2 pro ,he did the same except flashing Chinese firmware and he got bootloop so he had to install Chinese rom to flash xiaomi.eu rom then finally the rom booted.

Sorry sir, but most of the users having issue with touch after flashing twrp ana vendor_boot , we have to reboot to recovery for 4 to 5 times for touch working and after reboot it's not working again, that's the problem sir.

Well, that's right, recovery is based on the boot of the global firmware 13.0.4.0
Respectively, and vendor_boot should be taken from this firmware.
I added the ability to backup/flash this section in recovery specifically for customs.
Everything is done right in the recovery, and yes, this recovery works fine on stock firmware 13.0.5.0 and customs based on it.
