Tired of flashing AROMA installer for every little change you want to make? Tired of having to add your favourite images everytime a new rom comes out?

Send us your favourite icons for us to add to OTA so they are only a button press away when you install a new version. Remove/Install system apps with ease. Use Rom customizers built in root browser and install and queue zips direct from the app. No more fiddly recovery or manual wiping.
Available in both Stock and AOSP themes selectable on install, the majority of modifications in AllianceROM are OPTIONAL. You can turn them on and off at will. How To Flash
Rom is a full wipe if coming from anything other than AllianceROM
You must be using a custom recovery such as TWRP, CWM or Philz. (TWRP is recommended)
If you want to use TWRP but can't seem to find it then attached is the tar file for pc or mobile odin as well as a zip if want to flash it in cwm
It is recommended to check the MD5 checksum to ensure download integrity
Recommended way to flash AllianceROM
Download AllianceROM for I9305
Place zip on internal or external card (Note if using Philz recovery internal card is best if using TWRP either SD is fine)
Download ROM Customizer from the Play Store
Open ROM Customizer and select Flash/Install from Internal or External SD Card (Whichever SD you placed the zip on)
Select your options of which kernel to install, if you want samsung and google apps and if you want to keep the stock theme or flash alliance theme
If first time flashing this ROM then also select Wipe Data/Factory Restore as it is required for first time installation of this ROM otherwise you will encounter some issues and features not working
Select Flash and reboot.
ROM will install.
If any reason phone rebooted into recovery and did not install anything then select wipe data and flash rom from location where you placed it on the phone.
If you don't want to use ROM Customizer to select your options you can reboot into recovery and flash the ROM zip. Default install is Stock Kernel, All Samsung and Google Apps and Stock Theme.
If there is any system apps you wish to uninstall you can do that in ROM Customizer.
The usual flash at your own risk as we are not responsible for any damage caused to your device

Is this ROM JKay Compatible?
No, Jkay mod will break a lot of mods in this ROM and is not needed for this ROM as there is a ton of customization already available and no paid apps are needed to change the options available
How do change colours, toggle options etc?
Open Settings and select the My Device tab and open Alliance Control and select Custom Settings
Why after selecting options for ROM in ROM Customizer or downloads in OTA to install my phone reboots into recovery but does not flash?
ROM Customizer works best with an openrecovery script recovery such as TWRP. It is recommended and best if use TWRP with AllianceROM as it will use ROM Customizer to its full ability and be able to flash files from ROM Customizer from either internal or external sd card without issue. I did test to flash ROM with Philz recovery in ROM Customizer and for me it would only work if selecting files on internal sd card.
Why when selecting reboot in ROM Customizer to install phone does not reboot?
If this happens a few things you can try is clear cache, data and force stop ROM Customizer
Remove ROM Customizers Superuser permissions
Uninstall ROM Customizer and reinstall from Play Store
Reboot to recovery and clear cache and dalvik cache
My Camera doesn't work, says camera failed or can not connect, how to fix it?
This appears to be caused by a custom kernel. Flash ROM with the stock kernel and let it boot. Your camera should now work and you can then flash any other kernel you want to use
Why is my settings text black or not visible?
Set a text colour in custom settings and your text will be visible again
Why is there no power menu options?
Go into custom settings/power menu and set which options you want to have in the power menu

Yes. Unless you are reflashing AllianceROM a full wipe is required because some mods are applied to files which wont take effect and cause FCs unless you have full wiped

Great to see you here mate, i used to use your roms for both my S3 and Note 2 ! I must say they were the best. No disrespect mate but now most of us are on roms using MK2 firmware . Will look forward to your updated release
Not much difference between the 2 firmwares...probs just regional stuff, this firmware is still current...

Rom is not compatible with 900H but will work on 900F, 900I(Fix for nfc in ota), 900T, 900W8, 900M. Any other models it has worked on let us know.

Alliance Manager App
Alliance Manager is a one stop shop to theme your device. You can choose from a selection of preset themes and also backup all of your settings from Custom Settings.
This app does not install images (apart from system/dropdown and statusbar wallpaper). It sets entries for the Alliance Mods to read. Here is some examples of what you can do....

These Mods Will Not Work On Alliance AOSP Theme.
Kitkat 4.4 has changed the way it colors some images, it now uses code to set the color, instead of colored pngs.
So to make it easier for Alliance users to theme their phone dialer, i have made a modded SecContacts.apk.
The first theme i will post is a Black Glass dialer theme.
This theme will change the color of the green and blue icons in the bottom row of the dialer to white.
If you want to change those icons to another color, to match your dialer numbers color
I have included a separate 3 button zip, which contains those 6 icons (3 portrait, 3 landscape).
The png's in this zip can be colored without being decompiled.
After a few users have tested and have not found any bugs (fingers crossed)
i will post a tutorial on how to make your own theme, and post a few more themes i have made.
Flash zips with Rom Customizer.
Step 1. Flash Modded_Stock_SecContacts.zip, let phone reboot (it will look just like a stock themed dialer)
Step 2. Flash Black_Glass_Dialer.zip
Step 3. Flash Bottom_3_White.zip, if required.
The themes that i will post, will theme the dialer buttons as well as the tabs at the top of the screen,
The tabs in "tab view" of settings will also be themed, as they are the same tabs as the dialer.
If you come accross any bugs, let me know and i will fix them as soon as i can.

Help! I can't change my wallpaper?
In Data/System/Users/0 you will need to delete the file "wallpaper". you can then set your wallpaper as usual. You need a file explorer with root to do this!
An app doesn't have write access to the External SD card, for example Titanium Backup.
Please install this app SDFix: KitKat Writable Micro SD and follow the instructions in the app.
I flashed stock theme and my colors and I have white text on white backgrounds in settings? / unfortunately I still cannot see my contact names, how do I fix this?
1: In alliance: go to Theme/Colors, make sure in theme options everything is unset, in linked collors everything is unset, and in unlinked colors change "Settings Text Color" to black.
2: whitelist contacts trom system background
How do I change color X and background Y?
On installation of Alliance a PDF is created in the root of your internal SD. Check that for an overview!
Where are my themes?
Themes are now on the server. You need to download them before you can choose them!

Nope, you didn't read the OP, did you? It's stated you should use latest Bootloader & Modem!
If you think you updated the bootloader, double check with for example this app.

You're probably using lollipop bootloader with stock kernel. Downgrade bootloader with Odin!
I suffer from a lag? What can I do?
Some users are experiencing lag when using Ktoonsez. If your model supports it, you can flash official kernel.
Match the bootloader and modem to the base and use stock kernel.
You can choose stock kernel at installation for G900F and G900I.

Can I Flash this with safestrap?
No. Safestrap does not support aroma as i understand it so you cant install this

You need to be using a s6 port for this framework to work on, I would recommend geiti94's Sixperience which is available here. I will also make this on the latest s5 based firmware too when get the time but for now is only compatible with s6 port

Its a team thing.
But for the second question this is just a framework which is heavily modified like jkay deluxe or 3 minit. It still requires you to flash a base before this and in this case sixperience as it is the only s6 port for s5 at the moment, as this only contains files required for our mods. Any bugs that are in the base rom used will still be present

Ah fair enough lol.
Yeah I get that, I just meant that I had already downloaded Alliance ROM and was planning on using that, but I also like sixperience, but now we can use the Alliance features in that ROM it makes is a nice decision as to which I want to use
is it possible to flash framework with flashfire ? to keep knox 0x0

I'm getting a lot of toast notifications about system ui has stopped, but it never crashes. Any thoughts? It seems to be working fine other than that.

There also appears to be no control over the background either. I've tried from gallery, settings, Alliance control, but no luck yet.

Depends on what changes are made. If no changes are made to the files this affects then this can be flashed straight away otherwise I will need to update it

If coming from a full wipe rom then you need to set a lockscreen effect as the default effect is incompatible with s5 due to needing 64bit libs. Changing lockscreen effect in settings should fix that. If not please post dumpstate do can see what the error is
Background? As in background of apps? You need to enable it in alliance control, set affected apps in whitelist, select image and wallpaper alpha to right as well as set colour to white
If mean home screen and lockscreen wallpaper, that sets as it should for me. If just black then also related to incompatible lockscreen effect

Perfect!! I knew it was probably something simple since everything was working just fine otherwise. I selected no lockscreen effect and that took care of the system ui error issues, but I still can get the home screen wall paper to change.. Very awesome that you guys were able to make this such an easily flashable mod to have the Alliance ROM fun.

Cant remember exact location but try delete wallpapers from
System/data/users/0
I think it is from memory. That should fix that issue
