I have been looking for custom ROMs for Vivo phones but not able to find any that support this particular phone . Any help will be appreciated. Also the way to unlock bootloader is also nowhere to be found .

We really need custom ROMs. The stock firmware is awful. Music player cutting out on me ect. We just need the boot loader unlocked.

I've just huawei for boot loader unlock. They sent a link to page but our device model isn't on the drop down list. I hope they add it and hope I can unlock the device even tho I'm rooted with eroot

I'm using Huawei Mate30pro, I love it but I hate these UI. That why I want to use another custom rom. Launcher not effect on other setting. Please let me know which custom rom works on Mate30pro .

Yes, even in China, there is no way to unlock the bootloader, Huawei has permanently shut down the unlocked website.

I saw that option in iqoo7 Developer settings aswell, but I don't know why it is being said that iqoo 7 can't be rooted ? May be senior members of XDA can give us some feedback on this.
This phone sucks when it comes to rooting and custom rom...i am still searching through Chinese forums..if I ever found.though I am positive...i will update

I know you people are modding enthusiasts but sorry to let you down. Iqoo feels like it's similar to apple. It doesn't allow bootloader unlocking. You may see bootloader unlocking option in developer menu but it's just redundant. Iqoo and most Vivo phones doesn't support bootloader unlocking. So please don't waste your time searching for this. Telling this an experienced user of Vivo.

So, that is it ! No point in keeping hopes now. Atleast we should be happy with iqoo7's performance and camera. Hopefully funtouch os will give us more tweaking options in the coming updates...

Actually, no brand shares the official method for rooting the phone.
The rooting phone is commonly done by dev or advanced user. That's why I wonder if the rooting with the common method will be in use here. Only if we had the official and standalone release for ROM. The risk will be low & the chance will be high.
