Back up persist.img without root - OnePlus 8 Questions & Answers

Is it possible to back up persist.img without root access? Looking to flash global firmware on a T-Mobile OnePlus 8 since attempting to flash root from TWRP gives a Qualcomm Crashdump error.

Unable to flash recovery

So, I'm on B513 downgraded from B571 through a TWRP backup. I want to downgrade to Lollipop because I don't have WiFi nor BT.
My plan is to downgrade to Lollipop and then upgrade to Marshmallow to see if I get wireless connectivity back. I'm going to change my MT7-L09 vendor country info to Africa/Middle East because I've researched that these regions' firmwares have WiFi and BT enabled.
And here comes the problem: I can't flash any recovery via fastboot cause I get
Code:
FAILED (remote: command not allowed)
I found that my bootloader might be locked, even though in FASTBOOT&RESCUE mode says that it's unlocked. I've tried to re-unlock my Mate 7, but the site where I can obtain the unlocking password is broken. Currently, I don't have any recovery installed. I've tried Flashify, Rashr, etc.; with no avail.
Can anyone help?
On which flashtool you install twrp?
And your fastboot is unlock or nor?
With twrp you wipe which partition

[Q] Flashing .img file without unlocking bootloader, possible?

Recently while debranding my Honor v10 from EU to Indian version, I encountered a locked bootloader (post successful debranding). FRP is unlocked but bootloader is locked. Is there any way to flash ramdisk.img, recovery.img, system.img or anything or any way to root this phone now or atleaset boot to recovery TWRP recovery without installing it or unlocking the bootloader. Searched numberous posts and articles and tried various ways of root but no luck. any expert out here can help or guide.
The most closer I found was here - https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/help/root-unlocking-bootloader-t2820628/page2 but this is not working any more with latest Android versions.
Tried KingoRoot, KingRoot, SDK and few more but no luck.
Any help?
You would need to unlock the bootloader to flash any sort of .img in fastboot

Oneplus 8 crashdump mode

Hey guys. So i attempted the fingerprint restore guide and it didnt work. I bought the phone second hand and apparently the guy before me unlocked the phone. Long story short, i used the restore tool to bring the phone back to stock state. All was well until i rebooted. Then i got a qualcomm crashdump. I restored again to no avail. I used msmtool to read a couple partitions and it looks like persist partition got corrupted. Only problem is my bootloader is locked due to msm restore, and i cant boot into rom to enable oem unlocking to flash my persist backup. Is there anyway to bypass enable unlocking. Or is there a way to restore persist with msm? Or qualcomm tools? Such a simple problem. Just no tool to flash persist from edl mode. Other devices like oppo have this ability. Why doesnt msm tool flash important partitions????
Did you sell your phone yet? I got stuck with Qualcomm Crashdump, no one at OnePlus knows anything about it apparently. So before the phone tries to boot, hold power + volume up + volume down. Release just in time you'll be in fastboot mode. It's a little tricky but it stops that Crashdump from happening and then you can access your device via fastboot. Then it's just fastboot flash persist persist.img, and whatever else you need to save your phone. You should be able to unlock it again in fastboot then flash TWRP (or just a flashboot version of the ROM) and go about your restoration.

FLASH STOCK ROM HAVING TWRP USING SP FLASH TOOL(OPPO F9 PRO)

I have an oppo f9 pro ,oppo phones after 2016 are not given fastboot binaries means impossible to access fastboot mode,so if i can't access fastboot mode i can't use it to unlock bootloader and hence i can't install cutom recoveries/roms,root phone .,etc. But i found a thread on XDA where someone was asking how to root OPPO f3 plus(qualcomm based, launched in 2017) and there were people telling that they have rooted it succesfully by flashing stock rom using MSM download tool but i think that rom was modified such that when that guy flashed it using msm tool he was able(AND BY ABLE I MEAN TWRP GOT INSTALLED AUTOMATICALLY) to install custom recovery (twrp recovery) just by flashing that stock rom and also the bootloader got unlocked in that process.
But my phone is baed on mediatek so i have to use sp flash tool ,but my question is that is it possible for me to do the same for my OPPO f9 pro,it has no fastboot mode which is the main problem as i can't unlock bootloader which i easily did in my mi phone using fastboot mode ,but since oppo phones don't have that mode ,it means bootloader can't be unlocked by this process ,but is it really possible to get the bootloader unlocked+twrp installed just by flashing stock rom of my device in it using sp flash tool , i don't know a lot but i think that guy just did something like modifying the stock rom in suck a way that flashing it installs the stock rom+twrp+unlocks bootloader
SO, IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME TO DO THAT I WOULD BE REALLY THANKFUL IM STRUGGLING FROMA LOT OF DAYS TO INSTALL CUSTOM RECOVERY AND HENCE DO WHATEVER I CAN WITH IT AND ALSO REGRETTING WHY I BOUGHT AN OPPO PHONE ,
THANK YOU SO MUCH PLZ HELP IF U CAN:

Question ROM assistance

hi,
I'm helping my brother, he just ordered a new 11e pro China version preload with global rom and locked the bootloader and now it won't boot.
so far we've tried
1. reload Chinese rom from fastboot. error can't do that because it's locked
2. enter EDL mode with homemade cable. can't get it into EDL mode
3. mi flasher pro recovery flash. error md5 fail on all the Chinese ROMs I've tried and rom not allowed on global (i expect global not to work).
i think that recovery should work if i get a Chinese rom to load, then i can set the unlock setting so that i can unlock and reinstall global.
does anyone know where to get the recovery rom direct from xiaomi?
or
is it possible to set the unlock allow from recovery?
thanks,
Unlock from recovery probanly not, but there is Mi unlocker, find out how that worls
then there is another app called Mi Firmware on windows or something
That shere the engineers of xiaomi upload their stuff
Thank you @miauthofficiaI
