S7 EDGE rooting and FLASHING STOCK ROM with AP AND OTHER 4 FILES

hi
i root my phone XSG(SM-G935F) s7 edge with CF-Auto Root and my phone is dead means its only showing Samsung logo(Boot Loop). not even booting in safe mode and i do the factory reset after that my phone turn on. but now some apps(like s7edge feed) is not working(root failed)
root-checker shows its not rooted
is there any special root file for different country's like.... root file for xsg ROM ?.
i used this one to root - CF-Auto-Root-hero2lte-hero2ltexx-smg935f
Now i want to go again in stock ROM. I downloaded ROM zip from sammobiles and when i unzip it theres 5 files
like :-
AP
BL
CP
CSC
HOME_CSC
SO MY QUESTION IS is that i can flash AP only ? OR
DO i must flash 4 files together ?

to your questions:
CF Autoroot as far as i know is not working correctly on Nougat you have to root with TWRP and SuperSu or Magisk zip file
Flashing , as you do not really know what happen during rooting I would flash with all 4 files AP ,CP, BL and CSC or home_csc ( if you want to preserve your data and avoid factory reset use home_csc BUT it has the sama as the one you currently have installed)

I have Made a TWRP backup for Pie so everybody can move from Oreo to pie by Restoring Backup.
first install BL and CP of pie throw odin and then restore backup uncheck efs while restoring.

How did you root pie?

I have decided to share screenshots
I'm a us user as you can see I have volte working and I got Dolby working .
Make sure you have the latest Oreo bootloader installed this so can down grade to Oreo if I want to.
Do not flash pie modems if you do you will have to flash pie bootloader.
If you have a bootloader example
Xxu3 you need flash ap system and bootloader xxs4.
This not for flashing this build but for flashing pie on Odin

Restore.
Restoring with selected EFS damaged original IMEI.... Without is it ok. Thanks!

I'm from the Philippines and I don't know how this would work.... should flash the Philippine csc from the 8.0 update er. Sorry I'm completely clueless on how this works, all I know is flashing them.

Depends on what you want to get out of your phone.
I'm rooted so I had to use this canda csc.
For ab+ their no USA build I want have volte.
This csc I flash is done through twrp.
If your stock no root ect and you get what the services you want then go a head and do it.
If you are rooted and want to keep root then I would not.

How do flash it though? I extracted the .zip file but it doesnt have the files to be flashed through Odin. Also I think I should tell you that my phone or rather knoxs tells's me that my phone is rooted but I've already flashed the non-rooted stock rom years ago because I failed when I tried to root my phone before and I don't know how to fix my mistake and gain root. If its not too much to ask, I would like to ask for your help, I would greatly appreciate it.

It is a twrp back so it has to be flash with twrp.

This are odin files and will safely update all image files too bit 4 and keep bit 1 bootloaders. This is full firmware with USERDATA_AIO. This will put you on U firmware. Before flashing I recommend removing your google account and make sure in download mode you are not frp locked

Question [SOLVED] Samsung A12 / SM-A127F/DSN - Root problem

I have problem with patch my boot.img with Magisk manager. After patching I got error : "The phone is not running Samsung's official software". After flash again stock boot.img everything works.
I use Odin to flash.
I tried to install unofficial TWRP from other thread but I got SVD Fail and vbmeta errors during boot.
Somebody have any idea how solve this problem?
Model : SM-A127F/DSN
Baseband version : A127FXXU2AUG7
Android 11 (UI 3.1)
Info from download mode :
KG STATE : Checking
FRP LOCK : OFF
OEM LOCK : OFF(U)
Secure Download : Enabled

I found similar situation on movie :
But for me recovery mode and factory reset not solve problem. Phone stuck on "Samsung's official software" and reboot after a few minutes.

SM-A127F have a different hardware than for example SM-A125F and working on Exynos 850 the same as Samsung A21s.
Magisk 23 still not working.

It's very simple, but official Magisk have a bug which prevents the device from booting properly and your phone will be stuck with in bootloop.
1. You must get custom patched Magisk (jn attachment) - from This thread and install it on phone.
2. Get your original firmware from : https://samfw.com/firmware/SM-A127F
3. Unpack your firmware and upload AP_XXXXX file on phone and patch it with magisk.
4. Flash with ODIN and done
You have full instruction : Here but I recommend patch full AP_XXX file not only boot.img. Full AP patch It will allow you to turn off DM-Verity immediately and trouble with vbmeta.

Not exactly sure, maybe physwizz confirm, I presume, you tried install kernel file by Install button in TWRP. I tried it too, failed it too and
a) you have done backup in TWRP, thats usual reason to setup TWRP - you just in case backup those special partition and if you done it, restore boot from backup will help
b) really not sure about that, but Odin, button BL and flash BL file from original stock ROM.
Can anybody advanced confirm? Maybe it can be helpful to know exactly, what for sure are kernel (AFAIK part of boot partition), "bootloader" and "boot" partion, BL button in Odin

can't do another type. yes i did that type. but twrp does not work and does not mount any unit. install fails. I returned everything. deleted

Question help: SM-a125U stuck in Hash of data does not match digest in descriptor

Previous android version: Android 11
Previous base-band version: A125USQU2BUG5
company: wireless cricket
In the context of flashing with the new firmware I used :
- Odin version: 3 v3.14
- Firmware used: Samfw.com_SM-A125U_USC_A125USQU2BUL1_fac_2

The error is related to the vbmeta check. Did you used a sock firmware or you have patched it with magisk? Btw i reccomend to use frija to download the firmware.
If i can suggest I would make this steps:
1) download latest firmware with frija
2) Flash the stock and see if it work
Otherwise if this not help:
1) download latest firmware with frija
2) patch the whole ap and not only boot.img with magisk
3) open odin and flash it using the patched ap on the ap slot
If nothing above works, I think you can try this... not sure it will work. Replace inside the ap the vbmeta.img with the attached one that have the disabled verified boot.

2- I didn't patch any of the files I got ( any recommended guide on how to proceed>?)
3- I' so new at this
But anyways, yesterday I kind of sorted out the stuck by adding BL file, and CSC file along the AP file to ODIN, the phone restarted ok but found out it hasn't been unlocked from the carrier yet, so I guess that by judging what u just said, there are few thing I need a guide to
- Flashing the stock
- Patching the AP file
Ps Frija opens up when executed, but it closes in less than 1 second. (Pc 's OS: win 10 enterprise 64 bits)

When you flash with Odin you always need to use all the files provided on the stock firmware ap, bl, csc and cp. If u are upgrading you can use the home_csc instead of the csc file that will let you keep your data.
Are you sure you have installed the framework that Frija need?
For the ap patching, is only meant if you want root your phone, flashing the whole ap instead of the boot.img only will let you fix the vbmeta checks too.
Install the magisk app.
Open it and tap Install, it will ask for a file to patch, chose the ap file of the stock firmware you downloaded.
Final step, flash ap patched and the others (bl,csc,cp).

I rooted my tab 5Se a long time ago and deleted the firmware files except the AP.
I got stuck on the same screen today when I re-locked my bootloader after a stock AP-only flash
Then I saw your reply here and got the rest of the files flashed and it worked and booted
And for those who are reading if you don't have a SIM on your tablet you don't need a CP that's why you won't find it in your firmware zip file
