My phone motorola fusion plus stuck into boot loop and its not getting detected in adb but it is getting detected as fastboot device - General Questions and Answers

I want to flash my Motorola fusion+ phone with official firmware... I have downloaded flash firmware from official site and tried to flash it using RSDlite but the device is not showing there ..
I have installed Motorola adb drivers dowloaded from their site (Version 6.4.0 )
Also I have tried using adb devices command but it doesnt show any devices connected but when I use fastboot devices command in cmd 1 device is showing...
I don't know whats wrong with it....
I am using windows 10 os...
Thanks in advance

You can only access phone by means od ADB if "USB debug" got enabled in Android Settings -> Developer options & phone got rebooted afterwards.

But my phone is stuck in bootloop and can't able to boot and change developer settings Also I am not able to get into recovery mode

Because Fastboot is working, as you say, it should be possible to re-flash phone's Stock ROM.

I have downloaded the right firmware of the same model number.
So what should I do now?

To be honest: IDK

Can you please tell me, Is this happening because of any motherboard issue or is motherboard damaged or it is only android problem?

I don't what could be the problem with your phone. But it stuck on the Moto logo I would recommend you to do a factory reset once. You may lose your data in it but you may get your phone back.
To-Do factory Reset Try this:-
1. Press and hold the power + volume down button until some sort of text appears on the screen.
2. Then by using the volume button navigate to Recovery mode and then press the power button to select it.
3. No command screen will appear.
4. Then hold the power button and just press the volume up button once.
5. You will be in Recovery mode.
6. Select the factory reset option and press the power button.
Then Restart your phone.
If it worked for you give a like.

Hope it may help someone save their phone without need to change motherboard.

Thank you for your Info. never thought that it would be so quick here. So yesterday I downloaded android 6, did the flashing again. and it works fine now.
So for all the other Motorola Moto G 3rd generations users.
When you root the phone in Android 5, and you update it with official OTA Android 6, don't root the phone again with some App like KingRoot, as the phone OS might be bricked. Also to flash the Motorola, in that status which I got. You don't need the boot loader unlocking code from Motorola, eather you don't need to activate developer mode. Just download Android 6, and flash it. FASTBOOT DEVICES - code to be sure your phone is recognize it by your PC.
Thanks again to the XDA people and (therealduff1) which help me very quick

“Factory reset” and “Recovery” from bootloader-menu are already done. No changes: the device stuck at bootloader.
Please, help me to de-brick it.
Sorry, no Idea? I'll be glad of any help.
Thank you in advance.

Flashing to stock recovery rom write fails shield wifi

Hello Everyone,
So my tablet randomly had issues when I woke up a couple of days ago, it will sit at the nvidia splash\boot screen and never get past that. When I try to boot into recovery with power + volume down I will get to the recovery screen. When I choose recovery it will show the android laying down with the red exclamation and say no command under it. This also happens when I flash just the recovery image as well.
I found quite a few people with issues similar to mine, but I keep getting a fail to write error.
I followed this guide http://developer.download.nvidia.com/mobile/shield/ROM/ST8/5_1_0/HowTo-Flash-Recovery-Image.txt and keep getting a write failed error, I tried both the 5.1 and 5.2 images. The output of the command prompt is below.

So does anyone have any more Ideas I could try? Is my device broken? I found some people mentioning that maybe my flash storage chip is bad.
Thank you
Edit: Does anyone know if this is the correct size for it to be reporting on the "target reported max download size of 100663296 bytes" That seems really small like only 100 Mb.
I had the same issue with the dead android, turns out i was using an older version of TWRP, check that first.

Sweet thank you I will check that out right now. I will post an update on what happens.
--edit actually I am not using TWRP I thought you were referring to adb/fastboot for some reason.
Also does anyone know if there a way to run diagnostics to see if my internal storage is fried it keeps failing to write so it might be that unfortunately.
I did not find much with a search I might not be using the correct terms. when I do fastboot getvar recovery, all, or anything for that mater it stays
Code:
D:\Downloads\nv-recovery-st-wx-na-wf-5.2.0>fastboot getvar recovery
getvar:recovery FAILED (command write failed (Unknown error))

Hi There,
I hope someone can advise and possibly provide help resolving this problem.

I have tried to clear fb_mode and tried to unlock the bootloader without success.

It looks to me like you're trying to flash a firmware that is a downgrade from what was already on the device. It's probably blocking you because it won't allow a downgrade. Flash the version that the device already had on it or flash a newer version.

I throught that would be the case but i have tried the 4 roms available for this device and even the 7.0 OTA rom but nothing if able to flash. I cannot even unlock the bootloader.
Thanks

You may have to faatboot flash the individual .img(boot, system, cache, recovery, etc..) files by themselves.

Do you have USB debugging enabled?

Hi,
I dont think so as I cannot check due to the phone not able to get pass bootloader. I tried to use the fb_mode command but still goes back to bootloader saying filed to start.
Thanks..
