INSTAGRAM MODE AVAILABLE (ANDROID 11) - Samsung Galaxy S10e Questions & Answers

When I heard that the Android 11 version for the Galaxy S10 was available, I was anxious and found a way to download the update through the Frija program. But the Instagram option just disappeared. Does anyone know what may have happened? This absence is directly reflecting on Instagram!

Just as a guess: Maybe Instagram is not compatible to Samsung's Android 11 / OneUI 3 camera app yet?
I don't have Instagram on my S10e (still running on Android 11) and I don't have an Instagram option in Camera app either. So it might be part of the Instagram app.

Found an official statement from Samsung - sadly it's been removed in Android 11
After OS Upgrade to Android 11, Instagram mode on camera was removed. What is the issue?
Learn why Instagram mode is no longer in the camera mode after updating to Android 11?
www.samsung.com

What did the instagram mode do ? Take pics and upload them directly to insta ?

I didn't quite understand the problem either.

[BUGS][TESTED] Stock 8.1 June Update v9.6.3.0

Issues on Stock 8.1 June update.
1. Sysconfig Patcher cannot enter Google Play Services on doze mode. It also occurs on other magisk module "Enable Doze for GMS Magisk Module".
2. Video recording does not work on Stock, Google and Snapdragon Camera on some users. You need to install third-party camera app named "Footeaj" to record videos.
3. Google Play Store certification is marked as "Uncertified" to some users.
Issues 1, 2 and 3 does not occur on stock 8.0.
Even if they are bugs, then why post on XDA, their is a official bug reporting section in MIUI forum. What do you expect from posting it here? Xiaomi isn't going to see it, and forget about the fix.
Bug 2 is not true(?) Working fine, device is certified as well, don't know and don't care about the first bug
My video recording does not work as well.
Everything works no bug in my device

Everything works fine with me . I am in 8.1 update. Security patch june 5. The only bug i encountered is the delete of my sms.
What's the audio like on the Video recordings with this release? Is it still garbage - like underwater goobledegook?

To let other users know. (Being helpful)
Verify if its affecting all or some users. ( we get better understanding of bugs and one of the fellow superuser might find a workaround.)
What do you think now? Posting here helpful or not.( Helpful not to an individual but to the community)

Netflix unsupported fo S8+ ??

Yep, shocking title, but thats what the Google Play Store said to me when i tried to update the Netflix App ( pic attached ).
I know that the app isnt available for rooted devices, old devices, old android versions... but why our S8 Plus ???
My Device is no rooted, no OEM unlocked, Global version, Android 9 with latest security patch.
EDIT 1: App works great by now, didn't mention that. All ok with streaming movies and series, no problems on login and on app functions.
EDIT 2: Well I don't know how but it fixed by itself (Screenshot attached) and now I can update the app without problems, hope it doesn't happen again

Question Instagram MOD app that works with Pixel 7? (64bit)

Now when Pixel 7 dosent support 32-bit apps at all it killed a lot of useful apps I use.
One of them are different Instagram modded aps with better features.
Does anyone know one that is compiled as 64 bit which works on pixel 7 Pro?

THANK you for asking this question / confirming what I was beginning to believe was the problem with all my attempts to install/restore my Instagram Modded apps yesterday! I hope there's a solution, as all those sponsored posts make my eyes bleed. ;-)

I'm looking for one too. I tried so many apps in the net but non work.
also interested.
I find it baffling that google have done this. why? why suddenly withdraw 32bit support on the p7 when its not necessary to do so. its just messing people up. I've got a vital app I use for work that is no longer in development. so never going to be 64bit.
Apparently they made the call 2019 already, official apps in playstore since early 2021 just that now is the first phone where they just force it
Can anyone explain why a pretty mundane mod of the instagram app, which is 64 bit, is 32 bit?

32bit usually creates smaller APK files, I would also assume it is easier to compile but couldn't say for sure
Edit: I also wouldn't expect an updated 64 bit version of Instander any time soon with the war in Ukraine
Aeroinsta has the same issue

The official Instagram releases are not multi-lib (32-bit + 64-bit in one apk). There are separate apks for each abi. So far, the most cross-compatible version to mod was the 32-bit version since all devices till date have supported 32-bit abi, so the mod would work any device including a small segment of devices in some regions that are still only supporting 32-bit. That's changed for the first time with the Pixel 7.

So the Instagram on the playstore isn't compatible? That's the one I have installed and working fine

The Official Instagram is. The mods aren't because they're 32 bits (for now).

Like I said earlier, an alternative is the mobile website with an ad-blocker. It does the job but it's not great. I could use that instead but I don't know.

Adding the shortcut to your homescreen to this mobile version makes it kind of a PWA: it launches full screen and ads are still being blocked if you have an ad-blocker in your browser. It's the best we can get for now I guess.
On my s21 I was able to install a version of Instagram known as Instagram ++. I know there are several variants of this tweaked Instagram APK but I'm not sure which to use on my pixel 7 pro? So far there seems to be issues with Instagram++ being 32 bit... Anyone familiar with this?

I though Instagram++ was an iOS app. I can't seem to find anything about this for Android.

Question [Galaxy A52 4G] Unable to sideload and use Object Eraser after OneUI 5.0 update

So the galaxy A52 does not officially come with samsung object eraser but users could still sideload the apps and use it. But after the recent update (OneUI 5.0) I cannot sideload and use the feature like before. Object, reflection and shadow eraser apks are getting installed just fine, but doesn't appear in the menu like before and the latest version of photo editor app isn't getting installed at all, it's showing unable to update. Is there any workaround for it? did you guys manage to get it or we just have to give up?
Currently the photo editor version is: 3.1.09.37

Yup, seems Samsung deliberately doesn't want poor people to access these features lol. The object eraser and all that stopped working after the october update on Android 12 and probably will continue in the coming updates.
Still unable to get it?

Question Camera Control

Hi Guys,
Please advise how can I use Samsung CameraCorol app on my Galaxy Watch 4, my mobile device Samsung Galaxy A 71, running Android 13 (OneUI 5) official. Non rooted.
So you don't have a camera app companion in the watch? I do and when I open the camera app in the watch, I can see what the phone's camera is looking at and control it.
Its this what you are looking for? I have the watch 4 and S22 ultra, both updated with last official versions, but this was available from the beginning in UI 4.1.

But it is not available in my watch. I have already installed latest update.
It loads on the watch4 if your phone supports it. More than likely your phone does not support the companion app.
