[Q] unlock, relock. What it means?

HI. I tried to unlock my bootloader and i did and it goes from lock to unlock. And then i did smth that it goes from unlock to ''relock security warning''. What it means? what is the difference between unlock and relock? sry, i'm noob and i'm just trying to root my HTC evo 3d.

rooting htc phones needed to unlock the bootloader you juust relocked your bootloader. until bootloader is locked nothing can be written in /system partition and without write access no root access so again try to unlock the bootloader

When trying to unlock the bootloader i cant find the ruu for hboot update relative to my software number on the htcdev website any idea what i should do ?
