We are very excited to announce the Beta of Paranoid Android Ruby, based on Android 11.
On the first launch, you’ll notice a clean setup with a beautiful wallpaper from Hampus Olsson, who teamed up with us again to create several beautiful pieces of artwork. Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose design stands for itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We also added further UI touches that we believe enhance the overall user experience. You can find all of the Paranoid Android wallpapers and many more in the Abstruct app, included in our builds.
Our builds are based on the Code Aurora Forum Android base, which is optimized for Qualcomm platforms and has a higher degree of performance, battery life, and functionality compared to the Android Open Source Project platform. The Paranoid Android team and contributors are focusing on squashing existing bugs, and implementing and improving features, performance, and stability. We are dedicated to providing a user experience with the stability that you can expect from stock ROMs with best-in-class performance and features to help you get the most out of your device.
Notice
As we are growing on our list of supported devices in each release, we require of a stronger build environment so we can speed up the compilation process for releases. Based on the actual Quartz 4 list, we support over 30 devices, which takes between 2 and 3 days for all the builds to be completed without counting possible compilation issues or rebuild needs, based on our current specs.
We kindly ask all of you that are in position to donate anything, to help and support us so we can provide better and faster build releases, as well as increase the download speed of our servers, all looking for your enjoyment.

users usually get 8-9 hours of screen on time, and fod is as speedy as it gets. unlocks in 230 ms average.

Nice one, and you managed to add screen off FOD also! Wow, hardly any ROMs have this.
Do we know if Widevine L1 and SafetyNet status will be impacted by this ROM?
I'm using Pixel Experience 11 currently but it's in BETA still and the Android system battery usage is very high sadly so I might give this a go.

This ROM is really great, pixel experience did not work so well for me (not from this ROM creator) so I would rather keep this ROM. It's very well made.
I was just providing feedback because they said it would pass safetynet but it does not.
Pixel experience beta (official) did pass no problem but the battery life was not amazing.
I do not wish to root.
One tiny bug noticed is if you have screen off FOD enabled but set your screen not to lock instantly the blue dot will remain until next lock. Most likely as it's waiting for an unlock event to turn off blue AMOLED FOD. It's not an issue at all really, just make sure to set screen to lock instantly. Screen off FOD works amazing and is great to see a custom ROM with it.
Thanks.

Yeah January sec patch!

OK Google / Hey Google detection cannot be used for me. When you turn it on it just turns back off again. I've tried to clear cache / data on Google app with no luck.
Just letting you know, not sure if others have seen the same.
It's not much use these days as with this phone it doesn't work with screen off anyway.

As for the video recording, it was ported from the Android R Beta Source, so it's bound to have some issues.
The Team is working on fixing these.
And all the users will receive OTA!
Cheers!
Is it going to use pie audio blobs and will have vendor inbuilt in the rom package in next update.?

My phone stuck in bootloop. I did the step like instruction. But in telegram it says to flash vendor after rom while here the opposite. I'm using latest OFRP btw.
Wiped data+cache+dalvik from Crdroid 6.4, magisk 20.3 works (19.3 bootlooped) and passes safetynet.
Found a bug.
Wfd service keeps crashing while trying to connect to wireless display.

Love the no-nonsense approach, everything I need is built-in. PA has always been a one-stop, professional and clean ROM and its great to see it on our Mi A2.

İnstalled this rom and i liked it i think this will be my daily driver. Haven't faced any bugs. Only tap to wake is not working on ambient screen and voice recorder isn't worked at first. But i found solution to fix mix problem. Solution is go to google and disable hey google then restart your phone. For tap to wake it's working without Ambient display. Btw great rom <3
Best thing that has happened to this device.
Keep the good work.
I just reflashed and relock mi MI A2 because I was disappointed of all the flashing issues with gapps.
I will try this rom!
i wish there is rom package without gapps included.

Very cool, thanks a lot!
Thanks for your work !
I'm quite new to this custom rom, so i have a quick question : is the triple camera managed by the GCam app ?
It does not offer the option to switch to standard cam to wide-angle cam on my phone...
Guys need help. I do everything according to the instructions.
First Time Install / Clean Flash
-GO TO RECOVERY
-WIPE UP EVERYTHING
-FORMAT DATA
-REBOOT TO RECOVERY
And then the phone reboots into the fastboot and that's it. It does not enter the recovery. Stupidly restarting the fastboot. What to do? Thanks in advance.
It turned out to install everything. Thanks.
Found one bug. Voice match does not work

Good day. The firmware is just super. But there is one point. How is your energy consumption? I have a very strong gun woke up. At 8 am I take off from exercise at 7 pm - 20%. I think to roll evolution. Or is it all like that?

Battery backup depends upon many factors like if sync is on , if you using AOD , if network is good , is Bluetooth umis running at background or gps , is google is running at background and many other factors. So, please check even it depends which apps you use like heavy apps or just normal apps .

First of all thank you for this ROM. In my case for some reason I cannot install DMGC version of gCam (it starts the installation but ends up saying "app not installed"). I tried both 7.3 and 7.2 (from this site) without success. I could install onfire version (7.3) and BSG (MGC 8.1), which both seem to work reliably, but both lack the 0.5 wide-angle option (only available options are 1x and 2x). The stock camera (the one installed with the rom) works too, but it is very basic.
The camera is the only part i am missing from MIUI, all the rest looks and works great!

Sir i will add gcam inbuilt soon
I also noticed the fingerprint sensor is not working well, 99% of the times it says the finger movement was too fast.
धन्यवाद, मैं आपके काम की सराहना करता हूं।

The rom works great ...
A great job .. the battery lasts longer than in the rom Xiomi.eu (20.2.3) .. and the mobile works better with pixel experience
What doesn't work for me is the camera "DMGC 8.1.101 ver.5.0 Beta 1.apk" closes as soon as I open it.
But this other version works:
"GCAM_7.3.018_Urnyx05-v2.5.apk"
It is not something that matters much to me, because I almost never use the cameras, but if I have to use it, I like that it had the best possible quality..
Another thing that fails a bit is the fingerprint reader ... in this last compilation it is better, but it still fails a bit
But I love rom ...
P.S: I invite you to a coffee by paypal
Regards

Hii there. Thanks for supporting
Yes the fingerprint is not good but i started working on it and i also have a workaround for FOD https://t.me/kronicgrus/30976 .
About gcams. Some gcams work whereas others don't like dmgc 1st beta version works but latest one don't.
Hi, thanks so much for this, a bit of trial and error getting everything flashed in the correct order by im all up and running. So far so good, and really enjoying the feel of it. It is like having a new phone.
I have however run into a small problem Google assistant is working from system tray, however "ok google" detection does not seem to work. I have found the setting, however when you back out it turns itself off again. (see attached) For me this only really affects me when I am using Android Auto (which apart from this also works perfectly)
I have flashed NikGapps-full-arm64-11-20210130-signed which did fix an earlier mentioned issue of google assistant not responding, but unfortunately does not fix "Ok Google" for me.
Any suggestions, and thanks for all your work you have put into this.

yes, everything works. I tested it the day it dropped, until now (so almost two full days). Not a SINGLE bug, nor issues, nor anything to report back to the dev and I FULLY regression test the crap of the OS so its rock solid.
I probably wont keep it as my DD only because it lacks a few options I found in other 12 ROMs but I might keep it as my A12 ROM. TBD but its rock solid and everything works that should work!!

Toggle between this one, and more now with descendant. The descendant ROM has just enough goodies to make it more my style but both are impeccable! I go between those two ROMs for A12, and LOS for A11 but I'm trying to remain on 12 for my company reasons. We're a highly secured company so I have to be careful not to show either ROOT or an outdated OS for our edge security gateway's. I'm trying to stay on a real 12 (that's not really an 11 with props signing it as an A12 OS), but a true A12 OS. I'm the senior sys engineer in charge of the cloud so I can't be the guy that's failing posture checks or my team (who all report to me) will look at me funny. It doesn't look for me if I'm the one failing security, so I'm very careful.

Does it have quick click and radar features? Does listening to music and recognizing sounds work like the official one?

He should need to go back to Android12 first and install the AB partition back to Android12 and then update this rom again because i see this rom does not contain firmware partition he only has boot, dtbo, system, product, system_ext,vbmeta, system_vbmeta,vendor

Motion Sense is supported somewhat with the required framework installed/configured (pic 1), but note, I don't use it so I haven't personally tested it. I do know others have reported good results, but I don't use Motion Sense (waste of battery life), so take what I say about it, with a grain of salt.
Netflix works fine as long as you pass SafetyNet, and it uses L3 cert (pic 2 / 3):
