I have my old Galaxy Note 10.1 (n8013) on android 4.4.4, so I decided to install LineageOS 14.1.
I installed twrp fine, and I installed open gapps and did everything, and it worked fine.
I discovered that I can't install chrome from the play store, so I created a gapps-config.txt file which includes chrome, and I tried installing open gapps again.
But now TWRP crashes and reboots when I flash the file, and I can't install anything.
I tried re-installing TWRP and Factory Reset, but nothing works for me.
Can anyone help me?

Hello, good people! I need your help, please. I have a LG G2 D806 and I've been trying to install CM12. I rooted the device using the Autorec metod, then installed the TWRP. After that, i followed a Youtube tutorial about updating the TWRP, then installing the CM12 and the Google apps. I used the CM12 NIGHTLY D802 (i read somewhere i have to use the D802 version for the D806 model), which i downloaded to my PC and then transferred it to my phone via Dropbox.
First i installed the update for TWRP, then made a Backup with it and wiped it (Dalvik, system, data, cache), and then i tried to install the CM12, but it failed because it was "unable to open zip file". I looked for a solution and found out i need to download the ROM directly to the phone, otherwise it leads to this kind of error.
I tried to reboot to System, but only the LG logo appeared, and then a black screen, with the "notification light" of the phone flashing. Went back to TWRP via Factory reset and tried to restore my back up, and then rebooted again but with no avail.
I tried to download the CM12 again directly to the phone, so i plugged it to the PC, and it recognized it but i can't download he file directly to it nor i can copy the file in it (or any other file, being that the main reason i used dropbox as a medium).
Thanks, in advance
I flashed cm-13.0-20151213-UNOFFICIAL-jalebi on my yu yunique it worked fine. then i tried to flash the gapps with cm-12.1-20160309-NIGHTLY-jalebi-recovery because twrp failed to flash the ROM. When i used the cm recovery to flash gapps there was an error 10 related to busy box and said to use twrp, so i used twrp to flash gapps it didn't work the first time after a few tries it flashed but with a few errors. after rebooting a it kept displaying "setup wizard stopped " and "google play services stopped " when i press OK it pops back up and it keeps popping back up so i had to revert to stock ROM
So can i just install the gapps one by one or is it necessary to flash it so i can use apps like play store, google play games, google accounts etc
and
i used king root to rot my device
I just installed resurrection remix rom after using cm 13. Resurrection remix booted up with no problems, when i installed the Gapps package, i booted my phone and it said google play services has stopped, setup wizard has stopped. I can't get past this screen. I tried clearing cache in twrp with no success. I've tried other gapps variants but they say the same. There is no error when installing them either but once my phone boots up i got those messages. please help!!
Phone: Galaxy S5 Sm-G900t 6.0 marshmallow.
Update: I reflashed the rom, reinstalled gapps and rebooted. it's good now
I installed lineage 16 yesterday, worked fine, but while messing around in the menus I found something for an update, I went ahead and applied it, it then proceeded to boot loop on me. It would say can't load android system and would give me a option to try again or factory reset, I tried both, nothing helped. So I tried reinstalling the OS, i boot into twrp, choose the lineage and gapps zip, let it install, and then at the end I clear the cache, it runs through but then pops up in red "unable to find partition for path '/cache'". I then reboot and it then puts me right back at the screen for android recovery. Any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong?
Have you updated to the latest firmware using the instructions in the LOS thread for this phone? Did you forget to reboot between installing LOS and gapps? One of the two if probably your problem
Yesterday I got the notification to update LineageOS, so I downloaded the update through the Installer application, and rebooted the phone when prompted. After this it started bootlooping and I couldn't get into the system.
Since I don't want to lose the data on the phone, I tried reflashing the latest rom and older versions through TWRP, including the one I first installed, but after flashing it still loops. I had Magisk installed so I removed it but that didn't help. When I reflashed the rom, I also flashed the 'copy_partitions.zip' in the lineageos install instructions still to no avail.
I also tried the method here but the wipe option does not display the system option, so it didn't work.
Any help?
