Im really sorry,im a complete newb when it comes to anything software, i found my old samsung galaxy grand prime plus and im thinking of using it as a backup device,but the android 6.0.1 installed on it is so slow
I rooted it to remove samsung bloatware but its still very bad
I was wondering if there are any custom roms or anything to turn in back into stock android

Hello all, I am brand new to this. I own a couple of Samsung Tab 2 10.1 from ATT and 3 Samsung Tab 2 7.0 wifi only. I am ready to root them and completely overhaul them with a good OS that is clean and fast. I'm tired of the stock apps running down my speed and battery life. I understand I can root them and install a clean OS. But I am completely LOST! Can anybody send me a link(s) for Androids for Dummies and help me get through this? I understand I can just install an original Android OS like Jellybean or Marshmallow, etc???
I appreciate all the help I can get!

I have have a rooted Samsung Galaxy Tab E sm-t377p, with Twrp on it.
It is running android v5.1.1 stock samsung
I would love to remove android and put Linux on it but after googling around I know that's not going to happen. unless someone knows something that I don't??
So what about cyanogenmod?
I don't not see my device in the list so that's why I'm asking.
also if cyanogenmod is a no go for my tab then is there any other rom I could go with??

Hello. I installed Galaxy S8 ROM on my phone, but i have lags and this rom has a lot of bugs. I want to install stock rom (6.0.1). I can't do it, then i must have instruction how to do it. Can anyone link any tutorial how to install it on my phone? Thanks

Never seen a custom rom for Galaxy Golden ( I9235 ). I also have a Korean version SHV-E400S but there are no custom rom at this time. I know this is a great phone but stuck with jellybean 4.2 which sucks.
There are galaxy folder 2 and some other variants so if someone port latest android on this would be really great.

Have the golden 2 even TWRP is not avail on this device but I managed to root it, however latest andoid would be greae since kitkat is not supported by many app devs
What happens on flashing original Samsung Stock rom S9+ on S8+ device. Will it work? Both the devices are pretty similar im hardware except faster processor speed. It 95% same hardware. Can i continue to use Knox features like Samsung Pass with stock firmware. I want to do this coz it will help me get one ui 2 and android 10 on s8+ without rooting and without installing custom rom. It will be pure Samsung phone with stock samsung firmware.

No, flashing S9+ firmware on the S8+ won't work. Please do not try.
