[Help] partially package installer blocked. - General Questions and Answers

Whenever, I install a gameloft official game from playstore, and try to install another gameloft game (mod game). The later package can't be installed. Again, if I install a mod gameloft game and then try to install a official one the latter can't be installed. I guess they block my package installer partially... Now.. I wonder how can I install and keep both games (mod one and official one) at the same time ?
Looking for a full detail explanation and solution... And thanks in advance

Take Playstore out of the loop.
Use ApkExport* to copy both then load them from the copy.
I keep copies of all my downloaded apps and system updates. I trust Playstore as much as Google; 0%.
*on Playstore, freeware; no ads, no gimmicks, works perfectly. Make sure to save a copy of it!!!

is it possible to install GAPPS without a custom recovery?

I have 2 devices (Xiaomi Mi TV 2S 48" and a Xiaomi Mi TV 3 60") and I am having trouble getting GAPPS to install.
I do not have access to a custom recovery and the automated methods I do find fail for me at some stage or other. The odd time I can get it installed, it won't let me access my account.
One time I was able to get it all installed, but then the play store updated and showed a "this version of the Play store is not compatible with your device. Please uninstall updates" (or something similar to that). Uninstalling updates claimed to succeed, but wouldn't actually uninstall.
Factory reset later, I'm stumped. My current plan is:
1 - download PICO GAPPS for the Android version of my device
2 - Extract it to an SD card
3 - install the APK's
4 - move the APK's via terminal emulator to make them system (for the ones that require that permission)
5 - copy the lib files over from the zip
6 - cross fingers and reboot
Now, I am thinking that this should work, but I also don't know much about how the "flash zip" stuff works so I may be opening up a world of pain for myself. Plus side if I kill the android board, I can get a replacement for a lot cheaper than a new TV.
Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section; I did not see a section for "Xiaomi other" or "Xiaomi TV".
Anybody have any experience installing GAPPS manually from a stock ROM?
EDIT: So I did figure this out. There is a tool known as "Google Installer" that will install all of the google tools (and dependancies) including google play. After installing that, you just make google play store a system app and the play store works great.
Bad news - with the latest version of the play store, it will do a check on your device if it should be using the default play store or the leanback version (guessing the check is done by the device name in your account, but I have not verified this). Google installer installs an older version of the regular play store and it will auto-update. If your device requires Leanback and you don't have the leanback version installed, your play store will fail to start indicating you should uninstall updates.

Can't install apps

First of alll.....sorry for any spelling mistakes (my English is not great)
I have a Lenovo pad TB3-x70f android 6.0
Sinds a month or 2 i can't open apps. Ik get the message:
Failure to initialize! Youre hardware does not support this Application, sorry
I tried also to download and install the apps APK from other places then Google Play but most of the time that also does not work.
Any tips??
In general, every APP does have its supported device list. You had better download APP from Play Store as it will match apps for your device automatically.
Thnx, but i can download and install Them in the Google play store. But after install i get the error. Sometimes IT helps tot download a apk from another site. Most of the apps i can't install

can't install game cause another game is installed?

Okay so I play Darkness Rises and wanted to try that new game Jurassic World Alive so tried to install it and got a 505 error trying to install it from the play store.. I did all the usual like clear cache and data from Play Store, Play Services and Download Manager, nothing seemed to be fix the issue... So I gave up trying.
Yesterday I had to do a reset on my phone so decided to try to install it on a fresh system and it installed, but when I tried to install Darkness Rises, it now gave me the 505 error. Uninstalling JWA allowed me to install Darkness Rises again, but found when I now tried to reinstall JWA error 505 is back..
My main device is a razer phone with 8.1 but also tried with the same results on an S9+ and an LG V30 with the latest software. I have lots of space available on my phones (currently 40gig free on my razer) so that ain't the problem either.. I've never run into this that one game is completely incompatible if you have another game installed..
Anyone have any idea of a cause? Can anyone else try installing both these games and tell me if you have the same issue? Anyone have any idea of a fix?
Try Installing it Manually.
Download Jurassic World Alive from "apkpure" website.
And install it manually.

Doesn't work.. It's the game itself that won't install. Tried apks from 3 sites and different versions.. The game itself fails to install if darkness Rises is installed
So....
So you have keep either dark knight or jurrasic.

Yeah well obviously.. I was looking more for if anyone knew why this was happening or verification that they can't have both installed at the same time as well.. Then I could at least contact the developer if it wasn't just me
Use different site from different version
Doesn't work.. It's the game itself that won't install. Tried low data apk from different sites and different versions according to you device.

Keeping both of them are only possible if you are rooted:
1. Keep Both of your APKs in your Downloads folder.
2. Download Root Browser Classic from the Play Store.
3. Grant root access if asked.
4. Copy both APKs fron the Downloads folder to root directory “\system\app\”
5. Set both APKs’ permissions in “\system\app\” directory to rw-r-r
6. Enjoy!
*Note: If an application failed to work properly due to the process of copying, then there’s really no way to do this.
If the one of Tyne application aren’t showing, try rebooting again or paste the APKs again.
If APK permission failed to change, try rebooting a few times and it will set permission automatically.

A-Gapps 8.0+ Tiny - Workaround for system partitions with less then 50mb space.

This is how I was able to install gapps on a couple of GSI images, as well as my One Plus 5 after updating to Hydrogen pie. First download the gapps.zip and play store apk from this link:
https://mega.nz/#F!70RxTICA!AqPsbzB8UPIJ-6cy5Qm0Og
The play store apk is the newest one released November 27th.
Go into twrp and flash the zip, which will install all necessary files for the play store, and an outdated apk for the play store(which may or may not work, in my case it did not), install the play store apk and open it. sign in. let it sit for a min or two. it might force close once or twice. What its doing is installing the necessary libraries in the background.
I got the idea and original from here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/gapps-gapps-8-0-minimal-48mb-t3678509
and then did some modifications to it. IE removing/changing some files.

Why does this apk only work when installed from the play store?

Hello,
I am playing around with an .apk, an existing program where I have no control over. Planning to try my hand at reverse engineering for fun.
However, I run into the following problem:
When I download the app from the google play store, it works. No issues.
When I download the app from the google play store, then copy the .apk file from the emulator to my pc, and then reïnstall it on the emulator, it does not work and crashes. This is without any edits.
Same goes with an apk downloaded via Raccoon, same app, using the same google account. Download directly on the emulator via play store, it works. Download with raccoon then install the emulator, it doesnt work.
One thing I noticed is that when I install the app from the play store, it is 170MB (using app info).
When I install it from raccoon, or after extracting the apk from the emulator, its only 70MB.
Something else I noticed: When downloading from raccoon, it also downloads 2 config apk's, however, I cannot install those on the emulator...
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
It may be because the apps installed from the Play Store are genuine and reliable.
@PresFox
my guess is you try to install some so-called Split-APK ( read: apps that are distributed as app bundles ). Because Android provides no built-in way to install them from sources other than Google Play Store you have to install them via Google Play Store.
Thanks to @PresFox for the explanation of what's occurring here.
I often install base.apk apps from backups of /data/app done in a recovery shell and find they crash.
Most of the time, this can be rectified by restoring the missing files
from /data/app/com.SOME.APP/oat & lib folders (from recovery adb shell).
Although it works for me, can't say if its 100% reliable.
