How to get rid off this lockscreen warning? - General Questions and Answers

It's now three days since my lockscreen displays a warning "Warnung vor Sturmböen - Deutscher Wetterdienst" ("Attention: squalls - German meteorological service"). It's displayed on lockscreen and on AlwaysOn Display, but not in the notification drawer.
I have no weather app installed, no disaster app installed, must be coming from system.
Deactivating notifications on lockscreen doesn't help, disaster warning in settings is disabled, emergency notifications are disabled as well.
What may be causing this messages and how can I get rid off it? Best thing is, there aren't any squalls - there isn't any breath of wind since days.
This warnings are displayed on my Pixel 3a XL with Android 10 and on my girlfriends Pixel 3a with Android 11.

Found it.
Fortuitously there just was an article in googlewatchblog.de about a new "feature" in Pixel Launcher.
I'm not using Pixel Launcher, but it's causing this issue. The setting to get rid off it is not easy to find and not obvious:
Settings > Apps Pixel Launcher > Additional Settings (at the bottom)
Then "Overview (at top of the startscreen)" (...wtf?!?!?) - there are these weather warnings.
How goony's that...?!

Interactive Phone, People, Email & Calendar Icons on JB?

Recently for some unrelated reasons, I had to do a complete wipe/reset of my phone.
Until then, I had been running ICS. Since I had to reload anyway, I went with the stock JB load.
Something I immediately noticed was that the Phone, People, & Calendar icons/shortcuts no longer appear to be interactive? Just simple shortcuts.
For example, on ICS, the Phone & People icons in the launcher had up/down swipe actions (see the up/down triangles). The Calendar and Email shortcuts had the same ability.
Now on JB, they're just basic icons/shortcuts. I've looked through all the settings and don't think I'm missing anything. Is this something that was just dropped by Motorola/Google on JB?

Ok, so apparently this feature is called "Quick View" and was disabled by Motorola in all Jelly Bean ROMs. Several people with the Atrix were also complaining about it missing.
It wasn't "removed", but disabled from what I understand. The component for it seems is still present in the ROM (see below).
Any ideas on how to re-enable it? I'm not coming up with much discussion scouring the net.

1) Install JollaLauncher.apk from below. (This is edited for 4.2 devices)
http://goo.gl/nSI7Hl
Do not turn on accessibility for Jolla Launcher
2) Enable expanded desktop from gravity box (Means no status bar no navigation bar) Turn it on.
3) Install Heads-up notifications from below (Free App)
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=codes.simen.l50notifications
4) Open app
Enable heads-up and
Go to accessibility turn on accessibility for Heads-up notifications
5) Go to settings/security and disable lock screen
That's all :good:
Restart your phone
Enjoy it
Thanks riyono for editing Jolla.apk

Could you please help me? I enabled it but it's still like this. I don't know why. It didn't hide the navi bar.

Got my replacement today and the home screen looks different...

My original Pixel had the mic issue and Google replaced it. This one is from Google where the last one was a Verizon phone from Best Buy. Anyway, I set everything up and did all the updates to 7.1.1 with the March 5th Security update. I updated all apps (including the pixel launcher) but for some reason I can't get my date/weather widget to show. I checked settings, google now cards, etc. I did a search on google and didn't see anything like this, I was able to get the google weather app but no widget to be found anywhere...
Here is the screenshot. What happened to my original pixel style homescreen and why do I have a long google search bar and no weather/date widget?

I faced the same issue. Just go to Settings, Apps and clear the data for Pixel launcher and you will see the familiar screen again
People over at Android Police are reporting that they are starting to see this on their Pixel

Click to collapse
That worked. Thank you.

Add Edge more Gestures to Android 10 stock gestures.

Hi
I'm loving the Evolution X rom and I really like the Pixel experience this gives me on my Oneplus 6T. I like the app animations with the pixel launcher / recents.
However the back gesture on Android 10 is awful. It is really unreliable whether it actually goe back, or opens thehamburgere menu or swipes something on screen. I've tried changing all the options in the ROM and it is just bordering on unusuable. The OnePLus gestures were much better.
I tried Fluid Navigation Gestures, but this fully replaces the Android 10 gesture system compeltely and means you lose the smooth app closing animation and the app switching animations.
So here's my question: Is there a way I can just add some additional gesture areas without switching the entire gesture system? So basically leave the regular gesture system in place, but just add a couple of 'swipe up to go back' areas like Oneplus?

Rom Wishlist

rom wishlist:
- active-edge squeeze support and customization (open any app)
- status bar slide gesture to control brightness
- nav-bar button customizations/gestures
(long press back to kill app; double-tap home to open app; long-press home to clear all notifications)
- changing the number of rows/columns in the quick-setting tiles
- battery level bar across statusbar
- pure AMOLED black theme
This is what I want for Christmas. It's the birthday of Jesus. C'mon!
i think you are asking in the wrong spot. its best to find a rom you like or has some of those features and then ask the developers to add them. As a maintainer we dont really add features unless they are already baked in. (unless its unofficial). But as i just broke my oneplus 7 pro and im back on my sargo, i am intrested to see what roms are wished for since ill be doing a bring up for sargo now
