Ainol Q88 stuck on boot screen - General Questions and Answers

In 2019, my sister bought a tablet made in Shenzhen. This tablet has a lot of issues I have ever considered since November, with the password being set up automatically from the Ainol kids' mode app. There were other problems since the first problem is in November:
On November 3rd, I turned on this tablet, since it is a month old. The animation turned up regularly and I was looking for what's next. Then the tablet shows a full-screen Gboard keyboard layout, which caused Gboard to crash and it keeps stopping and crashing after the keyboard reloaded. The screen size is 7 inches, or 6x3.5 inches, which is running 320 dpi. I reset this tablet since I can't put in the password, which the Gboard pops up all 26 letters, numbers, and symbols.

In mid-November 2019, I turned on this tablet and set up the tablet. After I put in my Google account, it loads, then the screen turns black. The Google Play Services were crashing and it can't run again, so I have to reset this tablet.
In early 2020 I kept hard reset over and over since the Ainol tablet makes the software or firmware corrupt. When I turn on this tablet, it starts up fine, but it doesn't animate and it kept saying the "Ainol" logo and "Powered by Android Go edition." It runs Android Go edition Oreo with 1 gigabyte of RAM and 16 gigabytes of storage. I tried to hard reset (either clearing the cache or factory cache without clearing the cache or both), but it still shows the startup screen frozen. I tried safe mode, but it still doesn't work, even when I press these buttons going into safe mode. The screen is stuck for over an hour and it can't startup.
The tablet has an Allwinner A50 processor and the motherboard as shown below. I took out three screws to reveal the front of the motherboard, made in 2016. On the board ID, it was 04K0310119C0, and I knew that the board contains numbers like TZX-750Q2, and in the front, 114AMX.
The two images on the bottom were the ways to fix the tablet stuck on the startup screen, but it doesn't work. The battery is non-removable and was soldered into the main board. The battery is 2200 mAH. Please note that my camera is at least 14 years old and is blurry.

Treo 750 display driver problem?

I have a treo 750. Its used and I don't know what the guy before me tried to do with it, but it looks like all he did was install the official WM5 to WM6 update. My problem now (and part of the reason he sold it) is that there seems to be some serious screen corruption. I'm inclined to think there may be a driver issue? I cant even see the bootscreen. All I can see are a couple of vertical and horizontal bars (mostly around the top) with a multicolor spectrum. The rest of the screen is blank. Hard-reset, soft-reset, neither works to fix it. Oddly, if I access the device through MyMobiler and regedit/change to font to something that it hasn't used before (ex. calibri, arial) it seems to bring it back to life... still no boot screen, but the os will work fine. If I put it in standby mode and then try and bring it back on, I'm back to the corrupt screen. At the moment I've turned off the power-idle feature and just let it go to backlight off while leaving the device on all the time, but I cant leave it like that forever. Any thoughts? Am I able to update the display driver or something?
PS. Display works on my PC through MyMobiler with no problem.
Thanks in advance.
having exact same problem
I am having the exact same problem. The only way to avoid the display corruption seems, like you said, to avoid putting the phone in standby mode... but then leaving it like that all day will drain the battery very fast, obviously.
I'm curious as to what the cause is. My phone is out of warranty already. Purchased summer 2007.
rjackets, have you done anything since your post?
Hey i Still have the same problem, did anyone find an answer yet?
Is this what you're seeing? http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Bootloader.jpg
no, it's like all the 1st vertical pixels get extended to the right end and the lines keep flashing, i kind find my battery atm but it looks something like this texture, just with pixels:

[Q] Bricked S3. SWA Failed. Phone is stock! glitchy boot screen [w/pics]

Hey Guys,
I have a peculiar problem with my girlfriend's phone. I've been stumped for almost a week now trying to unbrick her phone without making an attempt to root to try other things, but here's the scenario:
Phone is completely stock.
One day she came home and her phone was stuck at the Verizon screen.
I'm not sure what version was her Rom prior to the brick, but the phone recently told her there was an update about a month ago. She installed the other updates prior to this one.
I ultimately ended up performing a factory reset, and a cache wipe from the recovery, and it still wouldn't get past the Verizon Splash Screen.
I then used the Verizon Repair Assistant as suggested by many members on the forum, and it looked good for a second. It started updating all the apps, and survived past the splash screen, and into the welcome screen to get started. I started the activation process and boom, the phone reboots itself. I noticed something strange about the boot screen though. It started to look like it's glitching out.

This one is like VZW's version of the Nyan Cat! Ha.
I then tried the Odin route, Installing VZW-I535VRUCNC1-20140430102617 onto the phone. Same result.
The last thing i tried while writing this thread was removing the AIM, and attempting the no activation WiFi, which it ultimately did take me back into the phone...
I moved fast enough where I was taken back into the UI, but I would see errors like
"Unfortunately Samsung Keyboard has Stopped"
I was able to swipe around on the screen for a bit before it froze, but the weird thing is when i press on the softkeys, I could still hear the water drop sounds. Then it would either go back through it's boot looping, or it would shut down. Pressing the power button won't work here, and only a battery pull would allow it to go through the boot cycle again.
I feel like a noob still, even after being able to successfully root 3 generations of the Samsung Galaxy Phones, (Epic, S3, and S5.) but I'm totally stumped on this one.
Seems like something is locking it up,
Any help would be appreciated, and if you are local (Silicon Valley, Bay Area), I'll buy you a coffee, or a beer. hah. :fingers-crossed:
Thanks in advance!
Anyone?

How to fix your android tablet. If your tablet is not working
How to do a factory reset on an Android tablet when your start up screen is hanging. Some methods show how to reset from the operating system but in this instance you cannot get to the software it just shows the android screen. We will then have to get to the boot screen, not all tablets will give you a menu screen in boot mode, so once it is here simply allow it to reboot itself and your android tablet should now start up with factory default settings, simply reinstall your apps, and I am assuming you have stored your data on a cloud or an SD card.
This problem is rather frustrating as there is no complete clear set way of solving this problem, as there are different android versions and so many different manufacturers of the devices it is very difficult to actually pinpoint and accurately describe the function appropriate for your device to get it out of the boot loop. This app will give you a way which works without the use of any tools just a series of key presses to reset your android device.
This works 80 percent of the time
If the advice in this app does not correctly reset your device you may have to try a slightly different sequence if your android version is different. For example Try powering off? and booting, count 2 seconds then press the volume button vigorously then as shown. If no luck increase to 4 seconds then 6.....etc up to 10 seconds count. You may also have the option to go through a menu. Use your volume keys to see if you can scroll through an option menu which will then enable you to restart your device that way. If you have no luck then please follow our firmware upgrade procedure in our Android Repair Manual at
http://androidtabletnotworking.com/
It includes step by step procedures with picture illustrations, also firmware download links to many android tablets which are often stuck in boot mode.
Want to Open your tablet?
Yes you have an android tablet but now there is something wrong with it, you feel in your heart that if you can
just open it you can solve the problem but it is not straight forward how to open it.
We will show you how to open your tablet without damaging it cosmetically or electronically.
Android tablet spares and repairing
How to open a tablet
Mini jack headphone socket not functioning. You cannot use headphones on your device
Power jack socket not functioning. You cannot charge your device correctly
Tablet stuck in boot mode
Speaker damage. Internal speaker has blown and is playing music and sounds with distortion
These all can be resolved and some are easily done whereby others need technical assistance.

Lost full screen - black bar at bottom of screen

Afternoon all.
As per title. After installing Renovate 3.0 today, I noticed that I've "lost" about 5mm at the bottom - just a thin black bar under the display.
Thought the ROM was the culprit, but I've reflashed 5 or 6 Rims and it's the same.
I've tried all display resolutions, immersive mode, different themes, clean installs, soft reboots, too many restarts, toggled everything I can think of- the same. All screens, all apps.
Driving me absoeffinglutely nuts. Any help appreciated!
Have you tried flashing back to the factory firmware?
Take a screenshot, does the black bar appear in the screenshot? If not, the display panel is broken, if yes, it's a software glitch

No, doesn't show in screenie, didn't expect it to. Find it hard to believe it's physical damage - never dropped it, Otterbox Strada wallet, but somehow the display is FUBAR.
Seen one similar problem after googling, on the S8, no obvious cause or solution.
Going to wipe everything including system and all storage, flash a stock in Odin and cross my fingers.

Very odd, if it appeared right after you installed the ROM, a software problem is possible. But I still wonder how it's possible for a part of the screen to render on a screenshot, but not on the actual screen.

SystemUI Crashing at Random and other weird behavior

Hey all,
My Pixel 3 standard started freaking out today. I have initiated an exchange, yet thought perhaps someone may have had/fixed similar issues. I was in the middle of playing a game and my screen kept shutting off. I closed the application and found that SystemUI was crashing at random intervals, which is what was causing the screen to blank. The phone was also very slow at this time and wouldn't respond to several inputs. I also had a few instances where the phone opened random apps on its own. I tried going into safe mode and I don't seem to experience the issue. I am presently unrooted and on the latest November OTA. I've also tried removing any apps that updated today as that's when the issues started.
I've started the exchange process, yet it's five days out for a replacement and it's going to be painful to be without a fully functional phone for that amount of time.
Any ideas of what to try? I thought perhaps crash logs, yet I'm not sure which to parse...
Thanks!
I too started seeing System UI isn't responding message. Tapping to wake the phone or pressing hardware buttons had a delay in both normal mode and safe mode. I tried reapplying an OTA image from December and same result. So I tried Factory image vs OTA image, same result. Turned off always on display to see if that improved. Same result. Removed any case and screen protector to see if that was contributing, but same result.
I'm having a harder time getting google to initiate the exchange as I bought my device off swappa and can't access the original owner's email or order id. Never thought that was needed - until now. Buyer beware. I bought pixel 1 and 2 straight from google, but went secondhand with the pixel 3. My mistake.

Have you factory restored?
I have tried to factory reset my phone and I'm still having this problem.
It happens at random when getting an incoming call, I can't see the caller screen, the UI is frozen, can't silence it pressing the buttons, can't wake up the screen until the phone decides to let me use it.
It's so annoying.
I am stuck with this issue during this lockdown, can somebody help? Or tell me what worked for them?
