Anyone know how to change the notification pull down area after the new update. Im right handed and always try to pull down notifications from the right hand side of the screen. After the update if I pull down from the right hand side of the screen I only get full access button layout without showing ANY notifications. Hope there is a way to change this and any help would be greatly appreciated.
Figured it out. You can use the app Good lock and quick star to change these quick pull down settings

Is it possible to get rid of the bar at the bottom of the today screen. The one with "new" in the bottom left corner and a few icons in the right corner? Its just I never use this bar and it takes up screen space.
Any advice would be appreciated.

I don't think there's a way to do other than perhaps using something like Wisbar or Gigabar. Certainly I've never found a way to get rid of this using standard OS settings.

I think the stock clear button in the upper right corner is a bit small and out of the way. Perhaps the button can go all the way across the notification pulldown screen at the bottom.
Also, maybe there is another way to open the notification area that is faster. I don't like laving to make a huge swipe to open it quickly, and I don't like how slowly it opens if I do a slow swipe.

There is a little menu bar that pops out of the right hand side when the s-pen is ejected. I want to change the icons on that bar.
I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to do this. I've googled extensively, and all I can find is information pertaining to the menu bar on the bottom of the screen.
I can't be the only one who wants to do this. Am I missing something?

I just got my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra the other day and there's something pretty frustrating that I'm hoping someone can help me out with. There is a feature that allows you to swipe down on the home screen to pull down the notification panel. This this feature is disabled, or you're on any other screen other than the home-screen, there is only a very very very thin line that represents the notification bar that registers you pressing when wanting to pull the notification bar down. Its even worse when I have my case on. I have to try press and dragging somewhere between 5-7 times before it works.
I guess I'm just wondering if there is a way or setting to expand the area at the top that acknowledges the notification pull-down feature. Currently, so far as I can tell, it measures at about .25cm vertical area that recognizes the drag-down feature. Can we increase to .5 or maybe even .75cm vertical area?
Use Nova Launch, in the settings go to gesture. From there you can do whatever you want.
You can also put another bottonin your Nav bar that pull down the notification on any apps anywhere. In the Good Lock app go to the NavStar. Choose a new configuration or long press on the navbar option of your choice and you can put more button on it. I have 7 and they're all very useful for me.
I had this notification appear just at the bottom of the slide down menu and I can't get it to go away can someone tell me if I'm going crazy or is it supposed to be there?
click the gear icon near it and turn the slider off.

For future reference, that appears when you have developer options enabled. If you disable dev options, it goes away.
