Case:
My Huawei p Smart is stuck in the eRecovery screen. It couldn't be upgraded.
That means I can't boot the device. I can just boot into eRecovery and fastboot screen.
My device is not enabled OEM unlock in Developer Settings.
Question:
can I somehow unlock my bootloader without enabling OEM Unlock? or,
Enable OEM Unlock without getting into the system?

Hi everyone,
Today I decided to root my Mate 9.
I started out with turning 'OEM unlock' on and usb debugging. With ADB installed and the huawei drivers, I began to unlock my bootloader. On the 'EMUI Huawei' homepage I filled out my device details and obtained an unlock code. I opened ADB and checked with 'adb devices' if my device was there. It was. So I continued with typing 'adb reboot bootlader'. After that I typed 'fastboot devices'. My device was still showing up. I typed 'fastboot oem unlock CODE (with the code). On my screen I pressed 'Yes'. Bootloader unlocked.
After this step I tried to flash twrp with the command 'fastboot flash recovery xxxx.img'. I couldn't continue because every adb/fastboot command keeps failing (remote: command not allowed). Now when I boot up my phone it shows 'your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted'. Phone=unlocked, FRP=locked. I can't do anything.
Device: Mate 9 L29C432B198
What did I do wrong or what did I missed? :crying:
I had this issue at first to had to redownload the original rom via the phone recovery this will fix the frp lock then u have to unlock and flash twrp 3.1.01 that is linked in the threads on here
Did it format after it unlocked?
You can try fastboot oem relock UNLOCKCODE
Then go to Settings -> Dev options -> enable OEM Unlocking
Then unlock again.
It probably will fail though if FRP is locked, but worth a shot.
Edit: It's supposed to say
PHONE Unlocked FRP Unlock
I tried to flash custom recovery in Nokia 2 but I was not able to flash. When I tried to unlock bootloader with command in fastboot(CMD)
fastboot OEM unlock
With usb debugging and OEM unlock enabled in developer option.I got an error that OEM unlock is not allowed but I have enable OEM enabling in developer option.
Same problem

Is it possible to unlock bootloader without enabling oem unlock in developer options. ( phone is stuck in bootloop).
I can access recovery mode and fastboot.

No mate, you will need to get OEM unlock enabled to flash anything other than a factory ota update. Search pixel bootloop and hopefully you'll find a solution to your issue.
Good luck

If you haven't tried it at all then first try to do a factory reset from recovery. If that doesn't work and if you're on stock and have stock recovery. Download ota: https://developers.google.com/android/ota and see if you can push it to phone using fastboot if you can't access storage of course. And then apply update in recovery. You should be able to boot then.
Hi Experts,
I just bought an unlocked OnePlus 7 pro.
I confirmed that it is unlocked. If I go into settings, wi-fi & internet, Advance (Network Unlock) ==> It says the following "This mobile device is permanently unlocked and can be used with any carrier!".
So now, I turn on the developer mode, USB debugging, OEM Unlocking, and boot into Boot Loader mode.
In boot loader mode, I see at the bottom of the screen that it is locked.
Now I try the following command from my machine (connected via USB to the device) ==> "fastboot oem unlock"
I get the following error ==> "FAILED (remote: 'Please flash unlock token first.')"
So what am I doing wrong?
OR is it that even if it is SIM unlocked, I still need another UNLOCK for boot loader?
I saw the method to request it from T-Mobile via OnePlus website,
But my question is if it is already carrier unlocked, do I still need that "bin" file for boot loader unlock?
If that is true, then I suppose I have to request it, wait 7 days right?
Is there any way to do this, without this craziness?
Use the msmtool here. If you haven't already.

How do I unlock bootloader of a android device without enable oem unlocking option in settings?
I installed twrp in my device and accidentally locked the bootloader.
Now I am stuck in a bootloop. So I think if I unlock the bootloader and flash the stock recovery so my device will unbrick.
So how I unlock bootloader without enabling oem unlocking option in settings..?
