This may sound odd, but bear with me
Android supports A2DP, my new pmp (Cowon J3) supports A2DP - Is there an app that lets me use my Android device as a basic bluetooth remote control?
Hi every wonderfull android devs !!
I'm a proud owner of the wonderfull (again) TF101, but i guess something usefull is missing in android mobility solution : i named : USB/PCI driver and player for TNT DVB-T TV Tuners under android
As now tablets and even phone have USB plugs and enough power to make it, maybe they can support those little USB TV tuner dongles.
As reference under windows i'm using pouchin TV which is a lite and fluid player for TNT TV (DVB-T - H264 codecs etc ...) but i know there are many more like this one and maybe some which could be better... BUT my guess is for android !! i fall in love with it, its not perfect but it tend to be a light and easy to use (and in same time powerfull and completly controlable and customizable).
(But if i can make a parenthesis i would say that android fully interface with windows and that's great but only few apps can fill the connectivity gap between androtablets and androphones (like pdanet for instance). So please think about functionnality between 2 android device in your apps devs
parenthesis closed . )
So what about my suggestion about a new kind of app for android : i mean TNT TV support (for mobility reasons) through mini antennas or wall antenna plugs?..
First : is it possible? (i guess most linux distro already did it)
second : will it be done one day? does some brave guys/grils with gold software coding hands would be brave enough to make it !?
Please respond to my hope!!!
Thank a lot for all the work already done and for the one that will be ! (in any topics )

USB TV tuner support on the gen8 Archos devices.
I am looking for this too.
Hi
First thanks for replies.
So if i have well read, froyo include the good drivers for usb tuners, but the transformer is under honeycomb (but that shouldn't be a trouble, as i guess that drivers would be included to it also) and the main trouble would be to adapt this app to the transformer (hardware point of view), it's just à guess as I'm just a Mc guyver with c code... And at least working on a rooted stock Rom..
Am i right?

Is thid project "death"?
I have a DVB-T-Stick with RTL2832U Chip (and 820T).
In the Play store, there is also a driver for this "RTL2832U" based DVB-T sticks Intended for a SDR App.
I can receive flight transponder data live from airplanes with a app, but there is no universal DVB-T tv app ?
Only "DVB-T for Android" etc., for ELECOM Micro-USB etc. DVB-T-Tuners.
Hello All,
May you want to check this USB tuner supports on Android TV;
Hi!
With a computer and an Airport Express you can for example browse Youtube and get the audio distributed through a hifi system via the outputs on the Airport Express.
I would like to do something similar with an Android based platform. However, I need the stereo channels to be optionally split into a 2.1 or 2.2 setup (speakers + one or two subwoofers). Further, I want the Android unit to be set up as a DSP with cross over and equalizers for each channel.
Does anyone know if something like this has been done before?
What existing platform could be suitable, and what mods would need to be done?
Any software suggestions?
Thanks!
I changed the title.
I need a skilled Android developer to look into this for me.
I am looking for support for to start support for Hisense TV's
Mine Specifics are; Android 4.2.2,Original Rom Updated.
Hisense TV model; 55K680GW
TV User Manual;

The TV is suppose to be a "SmartTV" everything that seems to make it a smart TV does not work. Can't pair to YouTube, can't stream my tablet or phone "mirroring" or "stream". YouTube app does not work, only play's a second of any video and then stops, will not do anything else. Virtually no software in Google apps. Bluetooth wont pair. WiFi Direct doesnt work. Can really do anything that a non-smarttv can do. Networking resources seem to work however, it will most media files from my computers on the network, but otherwise not all are supported. For a Android "SmartTV" it seems to be really lacking in the "smartness".
Is there any support, or planned to be any support for this TV?
so, my goal is to run waydroid (android on Linux) and be able to cast YouTube videos to the YouTube app for android tv. waydroid is essentially, an android compatibility layer for Linux. It runs atop lineage, and allows you to run android apps on Linux. my goal is to be able to cast youtube from my phone to my linux computer via waydroid, and lineage. Not sure about what the simplest way of doing so would be. would it make sense to spoof lineage to an android tv box? can that even be done? is there a way to install android tv specific apps onto lineage? the linegae os build i'm using comes with GAPPS, but i don't know how to install the youtube app for google tv.I've even thought about building lineage from source, but i'd only do that as a last resort. Again, i'm trying to cast youtube from my phone to essentially a stock android lineage, rather than casting from my phone to a chromecast. I've thought about using smarttubenext, and some other similar apps, but i want full youtube cast support, meaning not having to pair with a tv code.
Does anyone have any idea on how to install youtube for android tv on top of a semi-standard lineage build?
