Guys, have any ideas on how to make the 4k60fps video mode available on Redmi k30 Ultra? imx682 supports 4k60fps, 8k30fps shooting on snapdragon 865 (mi10t example), also mediatek dimensity 1000+ supports 4k60fps with eis (realme x7pro example). I tried to launch the camera from mi10t with stock libraries and it started, but without 4k60fps mode, and with libraries from mi10t it crashed. I looked at the composition of archives for unlocking 4k60 for poco f1, but unfortunately on Mediatek some files are missing, and the libraries are in another place

Hi all,
So I am liking the P20 Pro 4k video quality, and think the lack of image stabilization in 4k can actually be a benefit, if one uses a gimbal. It seems like using a gimbal with camera stabilization together can be a problem and actually create camera shake.
What I'm looking for is an android app allows me to lock both the ISO and white balance while filming in 4k.
Initially I thought Filmic Pro was the way to go, but as it is right now I don't think the P20 pro is currently supported by the app at 4k.
Has anyone used either Open Camera or Cinema 4K on the P20 Pro, and can you confirm if locking white balance and ISO is supported.
is it possible to port poco's camera for our note 7 pro?
if yes, than any dev should do that, as our device's default camera app doesn't has lots of camera features. like Slow-Mo fps selection, super slow mo etc..
I've read that the camera app of Xiaomi Mi 9 doesn't natively support RAW photos, then i have to use gcam app.
Compared to devices that natively support shooting in RAW, do photos taken with gcam in Mi 9 have worse quality?
Hi. Poco x3's front camera can record 1080p(16:9) video on default camera app. Using Open camera i can record 2592x1940p(648:485), then cut from it 2560x1440p(16:9).
Q1: Why front camera does not support higher than 1080p on default camera app?
Q2: Why phone does not support 1440p recording, but supports 4k?
Q3: Is it impossible adding 1440p support editing, build.prop and media_profiles.xml files?
1. Xiaomi didn't even consider to include it because 1080p is "enough". And in this price range manufacturers rarely put more than 1080p for video, even at all. They can even add EIS to front camera, but they didn't.
2. It supports but again, Xiaomi didn't included it as they found no need for it.
3. I think not with build.prop but with custom camera app + libs & media_profiles.xml, it's possible.
For example, there is a mod for Poco X3 that enables 320kbps audio in video recording by modifying media_profiles.xml
Dear Friends
I am an owner of Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro (known as Xiaomi Redmi K30 Pro on China market). I would like to use Gimbal for this smartphone to record stable footage 4K60.
I would like to ask, if someone used this smartphone or similar with the size, weight and camera location with: Hohem iSteady X2 or V2?
I have tested it with DJI Osmo Mobile 4 for a few days and everything is OK, but I would like to try with Hohem Gimbals, which I mentioned earlier.
What I need to know is:
1. Camera location of Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro / Xiaomi Redmi K30 Pro is in the upper-center/middle of the cover. My question is, will Gimbals arm or any element will be visible in the video footage in such case?
2. The same question as above, but related with Inception Effect (auto spinning). In the end of Inception Effect (auto spinning) there is a moment, when Gimbals arm or element may be visible in the video footage, but I have seen only YouTube reviews with smartphones, which have got theirs cameras location on the upper-left side of the cover. Is in Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro / Xiaomi Redmi K30 Pro, which has got different location of cameras (upper-center/middle), will give a chance that there will be no Gimbals arm or element visible in the video footage on Inception Effect?
3. Hohem Pro app doesn't support 4K30, so I will need to use FiLMiC Pro or Native application to record 4K60 video footage. My question is, does physical buttons of Gimbal like D-Pad, Change Mode Button, Record Button will work while not using dedicated Hohem Pro application?
4. The same question as above, but related with Hohem iSteady X2 with Bluetooth Remote, will those buttons work, while not using dedicated Hohem Pro application? I will use 1.50 metre long Monopad with Gimbal, so I need a solution to control Gimbal from distance.
5. Hohem iSteady X2 and V2 are exactly the same Gimbals in the matter of build (size, materials, weight), stabilization, motors? The main difference is AI Tracking in V2 and Remote Bluetooth in X2, everything else is the same?
I would be glad for your help and support. Thank you in advance for your time.
Sincerely
