When watching a movie, the subs does not show up. If I bring the UI up, subs show but as soon as the controls disappear, subs does the same. I've played with every setting in both the TiVo and mx player, and the only way I can manage the subs to stay on, is going into custom zoom, and set it at 99%. Problem is that it seems there's no way to keep the zoom set at 99%. I need to adjust it manually for every movie. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

I have found a soiution for my problem. I ditched this piece of gartbage and switched to VLC player.

I've a seemingly simple problem but its driving me crazy. All I need is to have music playing on my PPC, through a music player accessible using hardware keys. That's all (simple, right?)
Well, it turns out its not that simple. Whenever a music player (my favorite is S2P, and I hate not using it) is playing audio, after a minute the password screen becomes active and all the hardware keys become dysfunctional. The only player that's able to solve this problem is TCPMP, which doesn't let password screen come on, but though being an awesome media player, its not an ideal music player.
That being said, I need the password feature on my PPC, so I can't disable it permanently - just need it to not come on while playing music.
I've tried solving it by creating a mortscript that sends keystrokes, or resets idletime every few seconds, but that didn't help.
I'd really appreciate a solution to this problem.

Hey guys, does any one knows how to rotate landscape in wmp when watching stream video, it works great when im in the first screen of the media player but when i turn to full screen the video rotates 90° and im only able to see half of the video, i already tried the option fit to screen but it doesnt help at all. Does this happends to someone else?

I have the ASUS TF300 with keyboard and when watching movies it will just shut down and go back to the USB files. I am using a USB stick through the keyboard. Others watch these movies without these problems and it happens almost all the time to me and not shutting down just once but will play a while then shut down again. I open the movie back up and fast forward to the part I was at only to have it shut down again after playing a movie for a little. Any ideas why? I have VLC player and Vplayer video player. Asuming they both play the movie either one will shut down. Its not at a specific part either it just randomly does it. One guy thinks its a problem going through the keyboard to the tablet, Any other ideas?
I went into the VLC settings and enabled background playing, but every time I turn off the screen it still shuts off. I also disabled battery optimization.
Any solution?
With VLC after you select the appropriate setting, which you said you have, you have to minimize VLC first and then turn the screen off. That will work. I just tested.
Or just use MX Player. Go to settings, turn on the appropriate setting and you can turn the screen off and still listen to the sound of the video.
Just tested both right now, and both worked as discribed.
Is there way to do this with Picture In Picture mode as default? Is this a problem with VLC or with Android?
I can't get it to work with screen off if I chose PIP on VLC settings, but it works like I said in my previous post if you chose run in the background.
I'm note sure if the terms I'm using are correct. My VLC is not in English, so I'm translating.

Been using Mx player for years installed in several android boxes connected to tv set
Configuration si so simple to play several videos inside movies folder and repeat them endless
But.. found a problem.. when tv is power off and power on again noticed that video is paused.. never had this problem before, so must press play button again to recover play loop..
Does anyone knows how to solve it and let videos be played all day without interruptions even tv set is power off ??

By default, MX Player won't resume the playback when there is a change in the audio output device. Based on the information provided, it seems that switching off the device also disables the audio output route. However, we share this with our development team for further analysis and will check if there is a possibility of handling this in a better way.
