Moto G7 Power boot loop - Moto G7 Power Questions & Answers

Hi,
Need help getting the Moto G7 Power out of boot loop.
Issue.
The phone is stuck on boot loop. I get blue screen with Moto Logo and then goes blank, It keeps repeating until the battery drains out.
The bootlocker is factory locked I think. When I press Vol down and Power keys together, it shows AP FastBoot Flashmode for maybe 2-3 Sec and then goes back to boot loop. It does not stays on Fastboot mode long enough to debug.
Tried using moto rescue tool but the moment tool starts recognizing the device, it goes out of fastboot into boot loop.
Anyone knows what can be done

Sorry, I am still new to the technical terminologies. Do you mean I should put the phone in fastboot using Vol down+power keys and then use tis command?
I tried putting phone in fastboot, connected it to windows via usb-c and then in the cmd prompt (after entering fastboot folder), typed fastboot -w.
I got below message and then phone went back to boot loop.
Erasing 'userdata' OKAY [ 1.542s]
Erase successful, but not automatically formatting.
File system type raw not supported.
Erasing 'metadata' OKAY [ 0.072s]
Erase successful, but not automatically formatting.
File system type raw not supported.
Finished. Total time: 1.657s

One min later, I am getting the below message on screen.
Boot failed, Press power key to retry.
No bootable A/B slot
Failed to boot Linux, falling back to fastboot
Fastboot reason - Fall through from normal mode.
This keeps looping on/off the screen

Do u have the stock firm ware down loaded for ur phone can u post a screenshot of ur fastboot screen

[Q] [URGENT][Help needed][Moto G failed to validate boot image]

HI
I was flashing the GPe image on my XT1033 and while flashing the boot.img and logo.bin i got an error - out of memory , but rest of the parts like system.img etc flashed properly and now my phone won't boot giving me the error "failed to validate boot image'.
I am stuck at the bootloader screen and now neither can i flash some other image since my phone isn't being recognized anymore with cmd showing the message 'waiting for device'
Can someone please provide a solution?
Hello.
I faced the same problems when installing the 4.4.4 br firmware and trying to revert to my original firmware.
This happens because you have a locked bootloader and/or maybe you flashed a wrong boot.bin and you can't reflash boot.img because the bootloader is locked!
What I did is unlock the bootloader and all my problems vanished.. -_- reflash all the files using mfastboot, if it gives you errors on gpt.bin and motoboot.img dont worry and go on with the rest.
Oh, and one strange thing that I luckily figured out, is that to get the device recognized by the PC in the fastboot mode you got to enter fastboot MANUALLY. THat is, press volume down 3 seconds and then power on.
It's gotta say: Fastboot reason: Volume-down key pressed.
If you try to boot and it enters fast boot and gives you the error, for some reason doesn't recognize.

[Q] Device is stuck at fastboot

Hi everyone,
My phone was running perfectly, and nothing was wrong with it.
Yesterday, I tried to reboot it to "Reconvery" mode. But I noticed that the phone was rebooted to "Fastboot" mode.
I thought I might have pressed on "Bootloader" in the reboot menu, so I didn't care about it.
I turned it off, then turned it on again. It booted into "Fastboot" mode immediately.
I tried that multiple time, but it won't boot normally.
I gave up, turned it off and went home to see what might be wrong.
I plugged it into the wall to charge it, and I noticed instead of the charging battery icon, the phone has booted to "Fastboot" mode immediately.
I tried updating the whole system with the original zip file that contains everything.
"cm-11.0-XNPH44S-bacon-signed-fastboot.zip" -This is the file's name.
I rebooted it, hoping it would work. But unfortunately it booted to "Fastboot" mode.
I searched, and didn't find any results that could help me with this problem.
Is there anyway to fix it ? I tried everything and nothing seems to be working.
What was the phone on before it got stuck ? CM12? CM11s? 44 ? 05 ?What modifications had you made ?

Did your phone vibrate twice when it booted into fastboot mode? Did you have any errors when you flashed all staffs through fastboot mode especially flashed the static_nvbk.bin ?
If yes, it smelled like you have locked your bootloader by accident.
I have encountered almost the same question the day before. More info in here and there.
I hope it will work.

The device vibrates twice when I boot it, it boots to fastboot always.
If I plugged it to pc or wall, it boots to fastboot
If I booted to recovery, it boots to fastboot
If I used fastboot reboot command to reboot it, it reboots to fastboot again.
I've just erased "system - cache - boot - recovery" partitions, and installed the whole zip file.
Still, nothing has happened.
Also, this is a link to the zip I've updated the device with:
http://builds.cyngn.com/factory/bacon/cm-11.0-XNPH44S-bacon-signed-fastboot.zip
***EDIT:
My brother did his magic, and downloaded the one of the old version, and flashed everything
http://mirror.lucky.li/android/oneplus/one/firmware/cm-11.0-XNPH25R-bacon-signed-fastboot.zip
This is the one he downloaded. Also, he flashed everything inside the zip with the following:
Code:
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot flash sbl1 sbl1.mbn
fastboot flash dbi sdi.mbn
fastboot flash aboot emmc_appsboot.mbn
fastboot flash rpm rpm.mbn
fastboot flash tz tz.mbn
fastboot flash LOGO logo.bin
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash cache cache.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata_64g.img
fastboot reboot
And now, it'working like a new one.
But, that idiot unlocked my phone, and I lost everything because of him.
Well, I guess I learned my lesson today.

Vol- plug in USB is fastboot mode.
Vol+ plug in cable is download mode.
If you stuck in fastboot mode to get into download mode:
(Hold vol-, power, vol+ all 3 together until phone goes blank immediately release vol- and power keep holding vol+ it should boot into download mode )
doesnot work for me faild cannot erase this partation in unlocked state
doesn't work it says my phone doesnt pass a safety check and not will boot, and after that goes to fastboot
After unlocking the bootloader LG G7 run Android 10 by QFIL, I got stuck in fastboot. I consulted many sites but could not find what I needed.
I would like to share some of my experiences after I have successfully fixed them.
Once you have unlocked the bootloader you have illegally modified your phone. When something goes wrong, the phone automatically stops at fastboot. If you want it to continue, you need to load the magisk patched boot.img.
The boot.img can be extracted from your kdz rom file and you can make the patched boot.img by magisk app on the other phone and flash to the boot_a and boot_b partition by QFIL
After successfully boot your phone with magisk patched boot.img, you must use LG Bridge to refurbish your phone (choose Refurbish Option when flashing your rom) to make sure it work fine.

-Stuck Fastboot and Locked Bootlader Problem and Solution-

So, Iwas using Havoc Os 3.8 on my realme 5i, but I wanted to lock bootloader again, then I entered fastboot mode and locked bootloader, but I stucked in fastboot mode, It looped. Could not enter recovery or system. Only fastboot mode, because bootloader is locked I couldnt flash anything. I tried fastboot flashing unlock command but it did not work.
But solution was very easy, fastboot was not actually fastboot, everytime I power off device and power up there was not fastboot writing and robot icon, just directly fastboot itself. So actually it is fake fastboot, you just need to use volume buttons and select reboot to bootloader option, once device reboot you will see now fastboot- robot icon then fastboot itself, now you can unlock device with "fastboot flashing unlock_critical" command.
First, power off. Then wait for couple of minutes then start fastboot again.

fastboot boot twrp.img goes to black screen and stuck in fastboot mode

Trying to load TWRP and save my Pixel 2 . Once I am in the bootloader I can successfully issue fastboot commands no problem. But once I do fastboot boot twrp.img it just goes to a black screen and I can't do anything until I reboot by holding down power button, and it goes back to boot loader.
What do I do for black screen problems with TWRP?
