Phone: "Samsung Galaxy A50"
OS: Android 10
Unrooted
Developer Menu Active
Hello;
My problem, ironically, comes from a drawback strictly from style rather than substance. The Samsung Galaxy A50 is designed for aesthetics rather than common sense and the rounded edges on the sides and the rounded corners do look pretty nice, but when combined with a full screen App results in pushing things very tight to the edge and making it difficult to operate the Apps designed for square corners. My question is poised around asking if there is a reliable App I can use to create and adjust the visual screen size, pushing the UI into a position where the screen is rectangular with square corners instead of the rounded ones. Is there a trick I can use? An App that will work without needing root? ADB command? I'm really open to suggestions.
I appreciate any and all help, and thank you for simply reading this question with the intent of helping someone. Be well, and stay healthy.
Marc

Hey guys,
I love the slide2unlock app. It's much less fiddly than the standard lock app, and it lets me play music with the device asleep. Winner.
The only thing that annoys me is the rest of the interface that it comes bundled with. I like turning my phone on and seeing my today screen at a glimpse.
I'd prefer if either:
1. The rest of the app disappeared, so only the bar remained, thus covering only the bottom bit of my screen; or
2. the whole app was transparent so I could see my today screen; or
3. It'd be AWESOME if someone could make the bar into a today screen plugin! If I had the technical knowhowI'd certainly give it a stab!
Any ideas anyone?

i would love to see this as well
As would I, prefer just to see the home screen/widgets I've spend ages tweaking rather than the duplicated S2U2 version of battery and appointments etc.
Hello folks. I'm new, and I'm sorry in advance if this has been asked.
I know there are many complaints about font sizes on android phones. It appears each app has their own too. As someone who needs reading glasses, my phone is really hard to use without them.
So, I started looking for a simple "spyglass" type app that would magnify a part of the screen (whereever the finger is touching). There is NOTHING out there. I can't imagine it being too hard (granted...I haven't learned java/Android yet)?
Essentially, launch the app, then move your finger over the screen, and a preset rectangular area centered on your finger would double or triple the pixels. I'm far sighted, and reading my phone without granny glasses is a pain.
Anybody have any skills they feel like flexing? It would be great if the app ran as a service so you could magnify ANY pixels (no matter what app was running...or simply the homescreen).
Even better-> The "hard button" on our Android phones that is reserved for searching...if that could be modified to launch said "spyglass" tool.....you would win lots of kudos!
Thanks for letting me post. I know of various font tricks and apps, but they are not very slick.
I am looking for information on using the Infinite Painter dedicated blend button. Possibly some videos or how to's. I have been using it awhile and never saw a dedicated blend button in the free or paid version for Infinite Painter (Galaxy Note) or Infinite Painter Free (Note).
There is a decent amount of information when you click the Help button. If you're saying you can't find the blend tool, it's the swirly one in the lower left. When you click it, I becomes active for whichever brush you're using. Note that some brushes can't blend, like the pencil. But you can switch to the poil paint to and then use the blend, but it'll blend with the oil brush properties. Read the help info, and it'll make more sense.

I have used that function but the way they say dedicated blend button made me think there was a seperate button different than the regular layout.
For me, one of the best features of the GS8+ are the edge panels, and one of the most frustrating is the 'Edge Handle ' itself.
Because of my fat fingers and the thinness of the handle, the procedure is nearly always a hit or miss for me, especially when I have a case or TGSP on the device.
I was wondering if there's a way of adjusting the handle width (not length or opacity, this is already present).
I know that there are overlays and adb commands that allow for adjustments of the nav bar height for instance, but despite many searches I can't find anything for this.
If anyone can point me to, or create such like, it would be every much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I'd ask in this thread, the guys that are making them usually take requests if they are possible.

Hi
My mother's S7 phone on stock Android 8, Samsung Experience v9.0 is missing this option and she finds her ihome screen cons are constantly moving or disappearing, presumably because she is long pressing the icons by mistake and then swiping them.
Is there an app (or less preferably ROM) which provides this functionality? All the ones on Play just lock the screen and not the icons.
I asked on the Samsung forum and someone just said to upgrade the phone - doh!
Is there a way to use a different home screen UI is the Samsung one is not modifiable by apps?
It's frustrating that developers are not catering to more senior members who are much more prone to doing this thing. Not everyone has young nimble fingers!
