Checking camera sensor

Hello,
I was disappointed by the photo quality of my phone, tried different camera apps without success. Then I tried checking the camera sensor. I used app "Device info HW" and it says that camera sensor is imx258, not imx230, which was advertised (13 mp instead of 21 mp). It says that hardware is 13 mp and software is 21 mp. Then I took raw photo from engineer mode and it is 13 mp (image name: Capture20171224-152301ISOAutopure_4208x3120_10_3.raw). However it says that imx258 resolution is 4224 x 3136 (wikipedia) and only sony sensor i could find in this link with 4208x3120 resolution is an old IMX091PQ.
Does this mean than the sensor is wrong? As I understand the sensor is clearly not 21 mp and photos are upscaled to 21 mp? What guarantee do I have that it is a Sony sensor at all? I have an old zenfone 2 phone and photos are better. Is there any other way to check the sensor?

Portrait mode not working on front camera (doesn't have sharp image)?

Arnova8G2's Google Camera Port doesn't work on front camera
Model: Nexus 6P
Config camera HDR+: Nexus 6 Auto
HDR+ parameters: Default (or higher) -> higher settings = better quality, but it takes more time to process the image
both cameras now working with fully working Portrait mode! Get the updated google camera port by scrubber (2018.01.07) - http://en.miui.com/thread-1477982-1-1.html

Camera Zoom Issue

Hello guys I have an issue related to camera can you guys please check if this is an issue or that's how it should work.
When you open camera on photo mode there are 3 modes to take a photo i.e primary camera, wide angle and telephoto for zoom.
Wide angle works fine and so does Primary camera.
Now if you put a finger on telephoto lense that is the lense next to led flash and switch to 3x zoom, it should use the telephoto lense but it uses Primary camera instead.
For a fraction of sec it tries to go to telephoto lense and switches to primary lense
However for portrait mode it uses telephoto without fail.
Don't put finger on the telephoto lense, switch to zoom, boom it works.
Now put finger on it. Hey, the camera app says, it's too dark you use the telephoto sensor, let's switch to normal one.
So: it works as expected. Not enough light = no telephoto sensor.

Click to collapse
Cool, if that's the case it's smart af.
But that still doesn't justify 3x zoom with primary lense, is that digital crop in low light after all?

Nokia 6.2 Pro Mode Camera issue

Nokia 6.2 - TA 1198
Camera
96.9.0380.01
Issues:
- Pro Mode not focusing when not set in Auto which doesn't make the image sharp. Too much grain on pictures. This is very bad for night shooting. (Night mode is not that good for shooting low light and cannot make the image sharp than Pro Mode)
- Front Camera doesn't focus which is important on selfies. (Unlike Nokia 6/TA-1021 model) Blur is very visible when taking selfie near the Camera.
Please enlighten me that this is just a bug on it's camera.
Everything is working fine on camera except Pro Mode.

How only use the top lens (80mm telephoto) instead of a x3 crop from the 27mm lens

I would like tout take selfies but the caméra swish tout the 27mm sensor ans make a sensor zoom. How can i only use the top caméra lens (80mm) ?
I don't understand why you are trying to take selfies with the bank zoom camera, but open camera can do this, but I will say even at full arm length the zoom sensor will not be able to focus to you, this is probably with it's switching to the 27mm, so yeah with open camera when you switch camera it cycles all the sensors, but this sensor does not focus up close
