i have the same problem, but i think it doesn't only happen in Chrome but also while browsing phone settings etc.
you don't have to restart phone though, to fix this turn on the read mode and disable it and screen should be normal again
but it's very annoying anyway
any fix?

If you go to settings-->display-->colour scheme and switch to standard instead of automatic, it won't happen again. At least not on stock MIUI 12.0.3.0.
for me it's just occurs on chrome after i updated it to latest version.. i just uninstall the latest update and it's fine now
Same for me for the 3 last days only when I use chrome but when I switch between color scheme it goes back to normal and once I reopen chrome same thing again any help and hdr videos on youtube
Same here on Chrome and Chrome beta too (lastest versions). rom 12.0.4.0 stock from europe! Also happens when playing HDR videos on youtube.
Same Here

Everything indicates that it is so. Possibly introduced in the latest builds.

There is something that has changed and I do not know if it belongs to Google or Xiami to correct that issue !
I have uninstalled the regular chrome and installed chrome canary and so far no yellow tint.
For those who have problem with yellow screen in Chrome, try disabling #dynamic-color-gamut in Chrome... chrome://flags and search #dynamic-color-gamut

And disable dynamic color. It will be fixed.

I have a brand new HTC One X on att, and I have been using chrome for awhile now and all of a sudden it stops cooperating. Specifically when you try to load a web page it shows that it is loading, but never actually shows the web page and you can keep clicking refresh and it does the same thing. Also at the same time if you click the button to view open tabs the top of the screen changes, but the rest stays white and you cant see the open tabs. I have uninstalled the app a few times and re-installed and the problems persist so I am stuck using the stock web browser which isn't as bad as chrome but does have some annoying features. Has anyone else experienced this problem with chrome?

It's not a phone specific issue, I've run in to that before too. Sometimes clearing the apps data and cache in 'Android Settings>Apps.'
Hi, when i'm switching to one tab to another in google chrome my screen keep "flashing" with black light and sometimes when i open a tab is black, but when i touch the screen the site appears.
This bug is only with chrome, anyone else have it?
(sorry for bad english)
I have the same graphical glitch you describe.
Other people can try to reproduce the bug by opening multiple tabs in Chrome and then going to the tab switching screen, and scroll up and down through the tab list.
Had this with Chrome update. Reverted to stock then, this is flicker free.

Sorry, thanks .
Solved :good:
So when using Dolphin browser on my S6, and visiting some sites [replicable for me loading up imgur.com ] the browser freezes up midway through loading it, and the page becomes unresponsive. A few seconds later the screen goes black, and brings me back to the home screen of the phone. After this, my wallpaper would be reverted to default, and while plugged into my computer I would lose access to the sd card.
Has anyone else experienced a crash like that from Dolphin on their s6?
I've since uninstalled it and have been using chrome for now.
Hi, Same problem with my S6 Edge and dolphin browser. I think we should wait for an update from dolphin and it will be solved.
If you have jetpack enabled. Try disabling and/or uninstalling it. Worked for me.

Hello, you can send a report when you encountred the freeze/crash issue again via Dolphin Settings> About > Send Feedback > Not responding/Stopped unexpectedly. After all, the issue you described seems complicated.

They actually fixed it a month or two after the phone came out. It was in the changelog. Still, too long for such an unusable bug. I moved to chrome and haven't gone back.
OxygenOS 9.5.9 update and I still have this issue see the video link below. I tried re-installing Chrome, did a factory reset of the phone, disabled smooth scroll on chrome but nothing works still have this issue!
What's also frustrating whenever I have this issue the screen will not timeout/go off, its as if something is hanging in the background. The only workaround I have found is to close the Chrome and relaunch or toggle the screen on/of with power button.
This issue also happens with Google Feed, Edge and Brave Browser basically any chromium-based browsers. Clearly, this is an bug with OnePlus and Chromium for whatever reason.
It's become so frustrating that I have disabled Chrome, uninstalled all other browsers and have resorted to using Samsung Internet Browser as my default browser which does not have this issue.
Chrome Scroll Stutter Issue OnePlus 7 Pro Link: https://youtu.be/1Z8bzG0tfPs
P.S. Only noticed this issue since updating to OxygenOS 9.5.8 and now 9.5.9 never noticed it in any of the previous versions!
Does it happen in Chrome dev?
I used to have this with (I believe chrome Dev) and needed to do exactly what you do, force stop and restart chrome. After that it works for a while but the problem comes back. After a while I uninstalled chrome Dev and started to use the stable one. Can't say I ever noticed it again, this was on min OP6, on my OP7P I'm still using chrome stable and also not notice the problem.
Some questions, are you stock? Custom kernel? Magisk modules? Etc etc.
Tried on the same website on chrome and it's normal on my unit

No runnning stock, not rooted as mentioned I did a full factory reset no joy. Even made sure I was running the factory pre-installed version of chrome. Whats worse when this happens it throws off the screen time out , screen will not time out unless I re-launch chrome or toggle power button on/off. To reiterate only noticed this issue since updating to OxygenOS 9.5.8 and now 9.5.9 don't recall having this issue on any of the previous versions!

The issue is random nothing to do with visiting a specific website, it happens every now and then as I said if I force stop chrome and re-launch problem goes away or if I just toggle the power button for screen on/off the scroll works as normal no issues!
I never had this issue with any of my previous phones and before anyone asks I have even uninstalled all the apps I normally use and stuck with the default ones still the issue rears it's ugly head.
The only solution for me now I'm using Samsung Internet Browser Beta as my default browser including opening links from all 3rd party apps and I have no scroll issues. :good: And actually this browser is growing on me, beginning to prefer this over chrome!
Really annoying , I understand.
What you could try is to factory reset and after that's done manually flash the latest available OS version. Not a OTA but the full rom. (Around 1500/2000 mb).

Thanks for the tip, I was thinking that but I won't bother for the time being. I'm really liking the Samsung browser its got some cool features no scroll issues all good!:good:
So I got this phone about 2 weeks ago, brand new from oneplus. I haven't been tempted to do anything to it (bootloader locked, complete stock, no root)
One of the glitches is it'll stop scrolling on some web pages, especially from my Google feed. You need to back out and reenter the site. Then it works fine. This is the one that occurs often.
The other night I was using youtube. I tried to put it in pip mode. It froze in a weird position, not pip. It looked more like the recents but you couldn't exit it. I tried everything till I finally had to reboot to fix it.
Then last night I was watching Netflix. I tried to fast forward a bit and it began to buffer. It happens sometimes but again I had to reboot. The app wouldn't let me back out. I suppose I might've been able to pull down qs and go into settings to force quit (maybe) but this is a brand new phone. Also it's the 12/256 model.
Has anyone else experienced similar issues? I'm on the latest Android 10.
I have the N2013 12/256gb I had the same issue with chrome had to back out to get it working, not had the other issues thought. I have updated to O os 11 now see if this helps.
Had the same problem with chrome, switched to duckduckgo instead, and problem was gone.
Chrome has an issue with me, no matter what i try

Thanks. I had actually narrowed it down to chrome just before I read your replies.
I switched to Chrome beta and so far so good.
The youtube glitch only happened once. Did you receive the Android 11 ota or did you download it? I'm still waiting. I heard it's best to wait but this is the first time in years I haven't installed my own updates. Bootloader is still locked, no root, stock recovery.
It hasn't been bad so far.
Sometimes pulling down the statusbar works for the chrome freezes too
is there an option to change WebView types in Developer Options?
I downloaded 11 from the oxygen updater app, always do since it being faster getting the updates.
Yes you can change webview if you like, but to my knowledge you have to use a magisk script for it (don't knpw any other way), ive never used it tho.
