Twrp issue storage gone after formatting data - Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro (Redmi K30 Pro) Questions & Ans

I'm really upset with this phone been all night awake changing to different version of twrp and all have the same issue, after formatting storage it shows 0mb and even if it doesn't doesn't show on pc. Any solution for this? I'm ready to sell this phone. Never had such a difficult phone.

Nope as above this twrp decrypted successfully internal storage. So nothing wrong with the Pattern ! The data which failed is the partition under /system/data so u might wipe it out :good:

I've already flashed the eu rom using this recovery, there was no problem. The above issue is coming while trying to create a backup.
So I did as instruction and flashed MIUI EU Stable ROM. For some reason when setting up the phone, any PIN, password or pattern I set up is good to go. But can't use it to unlock the phone or inside setting, it will tell me that the password is wrong. I've factory reseted multiple times to make sure i got the password/PIN correct. And it won't let me set up fingerprints as well. So I did some reading and maybe the problem is because MIUI only allow setting up PIN/fingerprint when device is encrypted? and the last zip file decrypted the device?
Anyone can help me with this? Thanks!

cc9 meitu edition (vela)
@Radzią
Hi, can you please make a twrp for cc9 meitu edition (vela)?
cc9 meitu version does not have any twrp or alternative rom. only chinese.
Alternatively, If you have the time, knowledge and motivation, maybe you can post a detailed tutorial on how you have created this twrp, [Recovery] TWRP-3.3.1-0709 XIAOMI_CC9-CN-wzsx150?
maybe I can try to port one myself based on your tutorial.
I have tried to port cc9 meitu twrp using many guides from the web, but did not succeed.
I uploaded the original recovery for cc9 meitu to here https://we.tl/t-NtcZIhWoiD
thanks.

Fastboot, ADB and MiFlash don't recognize device

hello guys,
I wanted to do a clean flash of my poco f2 pro. Installed MiFlash, put the device in fastboot mode (it got recognized) and then klicked flash. the device immediately disappered from miflash and nothing was flashed. I can still boot into rom (Evolution X 4.7) but I have following symptoms:
1. Wifi does not work anymore
2. ADB, Fastboot and MiFlash do not recognize the device
3. TWRP (Chinese One) does not ask for unlock code and shows no sdcard contents (but Its there bc I can boot normally with data) --> DATA Partiton is not found.
4. TWRP Nandroid Backup is gone
I tried multiple Computers, Cables and ADB`s... What is the problem?
Could it be a faulty partition? Which one?

Poco F2 Pro bootloop - bootloader locked

Hello guys. I was too confident and bought Poco F2 Pro that is bricked - it keeps rebooting and never reaches the system. Now I am in trouble. So I would like to fix it, but it has locked bootloader. What are my options? I can get into fastbood mode and recovery mode, I tried the "wipe all data" option in recovery mode - to no effect. Thanks beforehand for any answers!
EDIT: PC Suite will not connect, eventhough there is such option in the recovery mode. There are only 3 options in the recovery - PC suite, wipe all data and reboot.

While this technique certainly appears to have been researched. Running though the instructions has resulted in my device caught in a boot-loop. A pretty serious one too. I can no longer access the bootloader or recovery/
I fear the state my device is in is 'soft bricked/ I have no clue have to resolve this and without access to the bootloader I can't rollback anything.
Some friendly notes for Hsnmastoor:
You should re-format the post. Writing the instructions then at the end supply the links and file attachments in the order in which they should be run As it is, the instructions are confusing .
If anyone has any ideas how to correct the boot loop, plug me in

Has anyone flashed this successfully?
any bugs? i flashed crdroid. it's too buggy
Hi everybody,
Still mad at myself for buying this phone (with MediaTek SOC) because of the lack of custom ROM support. Never had this issue before with any of my phones. If only i knew this before. The hardware of the phone is great, but the software makes it really frustrating to work with.
So i've tried a lot of things to either mod the original (Chinese) ROM so it's at least functional. And i have also tried multiple of these GSI ROM install methods. Everytime without succes.
I've tried your previous method with the 'GSI installer' and the one from this guide. Neither of them worked. (Boot loop). I have a feeling i run into trouble because (if i'm correct) the original ROM uses a 'super' partition and not a 'system' partition.
If i remember correctly the GSI installer couldn't continue because it couldn't find the system partition.
In this guide (for corvus) i figured i'd flash the system.img to my super partition. Of cource that doesn't work either. If only it was that simple.
Everytime it fails i have to flash back to a standard xiaomi ROM and start all over again. Because for some reason the TWRP backups also dont work for me.
So maybe i'm missing a step in the guide or i've already tried so much to mod my phone i've changed settings/partitions that shouldn't have been changed for this guide to work.
My bootloader is unlocked, i have/had TWRP 3.41 installed.
After a fail i flash back to the original ROM using Xiaomi ABD/Fastboot Tools (xiaomiABDFastbootTools.jar)
Any help would be appreciated!
I never had issue when I flashed the GSI from the crdroid guide did you make sure that you put the GSI installer.zip and the image file rename to system.img to the root internal storage??
Yes i did. It could also find the system.img file, but just wasn't able to flash it.
Can you tell mw what ROM you were flashing from?

I have samsung galaxy A525f and I'm trying to install TWRP on my phone. My phone currently running Android 12.
I use Odin to install TWRP
when I install TWRP V.3.5.x, It says success but nothing happens! It loads old boot.
But when I install TWRP V. 3.6.x , It says success but It crashes the phone! No OS, just blue Download page with a red notice!
I downloaded from https://dl.twrp.me/a52q/
I used the latest version of Odin and samsung drivers

You'll likely need to turn on OEM unlock in developer settings again.

Is your phone in sideloading mode? (It should be under "Advanced" in TWRP).

Did you format data before booting? If no, do that and see if that fixes your issue.
If you already formatted it flash this after flashing lineage and format data again.

I formatted data, installed lineage, installed service Disabler then formatted data again and nothing happened. It booted in TWRP again.

Then you did something wrong. Try to start over from the beginning.
