I'm new here because I didn't find anything regarding the "green tint" Problem and the tab s6 (only tab s7plus).
So I got my tab s6 today and everything was fine. In the evening I lowered the brightness to the minimum ( with dark mode on ) and almost everything that should be grey looks very greenish and just ugly. Examples are browser with dark mode or the settings.
Is there someone else with that problem? Is it a hardware or software problem?

Hi,
I seem to have noticed flickering on the screen specially on gray-ish backgrounds. I can see lines moving up in gray backgrounds as in the settings page.
As far as I can tell it was not present while I had HC since I only noticed it after I updated to ICS. I have never rooted the tablet and it is running on stock ROM.
Does anyone else seem to have this issue? Or is it a hardware problem?

I noticed some rare flickering (once or twice a day) after updating to ICS, stock and non-rooted. But I wouldn't say it's consistent, nor tie it to a specific colors or actions.
Iif you could post an exact method of how to reproduce the problem, I might get a better judgement.
I seem to notice it quite clearly when the background is of a dark gray shade (like the one found in the settings page) in a low light room.
I just opened up SketchBook and painted the screen with dark gray (R66 B66 G66) and noticed the same flickering implying that it is not app dependent.
I've tried two dark gray fullscreen images, with auto brightness on and off, yet no flickering occurred.

Yep i've noticed too... meaning that my TF101 is having the same issue :/
Nevertheless, I believe it is a software issue, probably related to ICS hardware acceleration thingy.
Hi! I just bought a Galaxy S7 (the normal one not the edge version) and was wondering if anyone had any problems with their notification light colours... When I receive a Snapchat notification instead of a yellow light I see a mixture of orange/yellow/red/greenish. I tried a bunch of apps on the google playstore such as these; but the colours are always weird except the red/green/blue.

What's weird is that I just returned from the store I bought it from and they told me it was how the S7 are, however my S6 had perfect LED colours (red/green/blue/yellow/purple/white etc). I feel kinda dumb now Anyone ever had this problem?
I assumed Samsung made their own solution for it separate from standard Android; as I get the same thing. Xposed modules that are meant to change the pulse timing also seem to have no affect either.
So I bought my used S7 recently, the device seems to be totally clean not even a scratch on the frame, looks like brand new and even the software status is OFFICIAL not even the Knox is tripped.
I found a thread on XDA about using an updated version of TouchWiz Home of the S8 for the S7 by installing the APK.
it worked like a charm until I started to change my wallpapers and notice something strange.
im using an application to change the wallpapers auto every 5 minutes, the problem is whenever the wallpaper i use has some bright colors like bright purple or bright red and i press the app button to access the app drawer those colors (ONLY) flicker , they flicker just before the screen get blurred and take u to the app drawer, and also when u go back to the main screen from the app drawer also right after the blur disappear.
i got scared so i uninstalled that Touchwiz Update and came back to stock, to notice that the problem is still there, but its not as noticeable as the s8 TW
i wanted to know if the screen is dying or this is something normal, and also wanted to know if its a software related problem or hardware one, and finally if someone is having the same issue ( i can share a wallpaper if anyone is willing to try wit it )
NB: the screen flicker ONLY ON THE BRIGHT COLOR before the blur effect happens and After it.

I made this video If you focus on the second time especially ( when going to the home screen from the app drawer ) you can see clearly the red rose flicker. Sometimes the flickering is harder depending on how bright is the color.

This can only be a software problem, because its also visible in the Video. Your screen is not damaged, and it will not be damaged. This issue is not a problem, maybe only a bit annoying.

It is so annoying for me cuz i had an old S5 plus that ended up with the screen flickering so whenever i see it flickering i got a heart attack.
Is there anyway to fix it i tried factory reset but nothing changed..

I think thats a Problem with the Launcher. I've tried it on my Phone, and it is also flickering. You can try to speed up the Animation-Speed in the Developer-Settings. Maybe then you wont see the flickering.

Thank you very much !!!! You have no idea how much its relieving to know that this problem is not only present in my device.
For now ill just stay away from bright wallpapers until hopefully Samsung will make fix for this issue.

EDIT : after i came to the pc and i saw the GIF u made i noticed that we dont have the same flickering , maybe the quality of the GIF wasnt high enough but for me it didnt seem to be te same, so i will ask you one last time when you tried that wallpaper did it show the SAME result as my video for u ?

Anybody facing the green tint issue?I got the RMX2071(china rom) and the version of A21.I set the brigtness to about 25percent and turned the dark mode on.The black screen is quite green at the right side of the display when in the chrome goolge search page and google keep note blank page.I am not so sure whether this is coz of ota update or factory error.If u havent test yet,try that and plz reply me.Wish they can fix with ota update :crying:
I'm running EU (A.28) version and I haven't noticed that. However, I find that with low brightness, my lockscreen display crushes colours together and is annoying. Presumably because it's an OLED Panel, grey's look more purple with low brightness. And with high brightness, they boost the colour saturation as of a max limit of screen brightness and this is really really annoying too.

I have RMX2071, and I'm on Chinese stock ROM too. It came with A.14, I upgraded it via OTA to A.20 and than a few days later to A.21. I am using dark mode too and low brightness, but haven't noticed anything like you describe.

I could only see it when the ambient light is low also.May be my phone is only defected.Thanks for your info.
Hi all! Ive mention that my old photos from other phone looks different on Realme gt neo 3 screen. Ive tried all the color options in settings and "special" menu but still I cant get right white color (white looks a little green and yellow, faces on youtube looks unnaturally brown). Does anybody already faced this issue and solved it? Pictures looks the same on my old phone and laptop, but not on my new Realme. Ive tried to get an example of color difference between old phone and new. On the picture below Realme screen on the right side.
