I appreciate that.
Too bad it didn't work out for you.
It is really difficult to find the original files. The closest I could get is CN_10.4.4.25
(http://ftp.tekwind.co.jp/pub/asustw/EeePAD/TF700T/CN_epaduser_VER104425UpdateLauncher.zip).
Here are the original files:
https://leo.pfweb.eu/dl/E8lho
I also created a modified version, maybe this time it works for you
https://leo.pfweb.eu/dl/MXZdG
Hope this helps.

Hello guys.
I'm sorry for the noob questions, but I'm very new to the Android world.
I just bought an Asus TF700T and I decided to root it.
This wasn't possible as my device had JB installed, so I decided to downgrade it to ICS with a method that could keep it locked.
After that I rooted it without any problems
First of all my first question is this:
Is it normal that my tablet now is full of chinese applications? I downloaded the firmware from the asus site so I'm just wondering why it is like that and how to fix it
Also is it normal that I don't have the google play store application installed?
After this I wanted to know the correct steps to upgrade it again to JB keeping the root at the same time
Thanks a lot
Sounds to me like you flashed the Taiwanese firmware.

ye you are totally right...
I'm trying to install the WW version now.
Anyway after I installed it and rooted it how can I update to the latest version of JB?
thanks
Edit: I tried to download Root Keeper and to update it to JB, but the root is gone
So I'm stuck at the upgrading part
You need to install voodo before you update to JB, save the root and then temp un-root it.
If that doesn't work as easily as that (which it didn't in my case) then follow this guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1926147
That worked great for me
I cant stand this anymore, and I keep getting the communications error running the latest ASUS unlock program.....

Unlocking, Rooting, and ROM's question
I'm new with Tablets forgive me if this is a stupid question but is there possably any way to use one program to unlock and root or just root the Asus TF300T without messing with the ROM on version 4.2.1 android jelly bean? The reason I ask is bc I'm use to doing things and rooting on my droid razr and for that all you need is razr utility. So basically is there a utility out there or wil there be one in the future for my Asus TF300T like something thats simple and your rooted? please somebody let me know it I'm dieing to get this TF rooted.
I managed to get my Asus TF700KL rooted using Framaroot (Gandalph exploit) - With that done, I'd love to use a custom ROM as the stock ROM feels extremely slow...
Does anyone know of a ROM that is compatible with the Snapdragons S4 processor the is in the TF700KL?
I'm also aware that the tablet would need to be unlocked... Guess I'll have to fight Asus to get it unlocked, as I haven't been able to find a tool for that (There's on for the other TF700's, but not for the KL one... and from what I've heard, it won't work on mine...)
But hey, got root! That's a first step... Though a custom ROM would be nice...
Hey,
that's good news. Now what we need is a custom rom!!
My Tf700KL visited Asus repair service twice. It came back without the Vodafone ROM version(was bought at Vodafone) and is working a lot better now. However, it still is slow.
I'll hook on to this thread...
My Transformer is baught at Telia in Denmark, branded to Vodafone (don't know why) and I would like du debrand it or better get a custom ROM on it.
Got the same problems, unlocking isn't possible with tools from Asus website (running ICS 4.1. and according to Asus customer service won't be upgraded to 4.2) and I can't find a suitable CM.
Any help would be appreciated
Great news - today Asus made an official unlock utility for TF700KL

Hi everyone, we have a working CWM, we started CM11, but is unstable. We need help. Need someone who rebuild Boot and recovery.
Where can I find the rom for tf700kl?
I would like to debrand my Asus Transformer TF700KL (the one with 4G/LTE), I've got root access and did a search with Root Explorer and it came up with a lot of entrys containing Vodafone. (And here I would like to attach a screenshot, but seems the only option is to upload it somewhere and provide a link, maybe I'll try it later).
I'ts not sim-locked, I'm using my own ISP's mobile network, but I want to get rid of all the Vodafone stuff, like splash screen, lots of apps and background services.
I guess I can't just delete what Root Explorer found, is there another way? New stock ROM? From where? Can't find a CM (only for TF700T), can't unlock the tab (it's running JB 4.1, the unlocker provided by Asus works only on 4.2)...
Any solutions would be appreciated, surely not only by me...
